Chiefs Star quarterback <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/patrick-mahomes" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Patrick Mahomes</a>’ mom Randi Mahomes sported a red “Make America Great Again” hat ahead of the Kansas City game on Monday night.
In a video posted on Monday on <a href="https://x.com/charliekirk11/status/1853591132082778196">X</a>, Mahomes was wearing a bright red Kansas City Chiefs sweatshirt with a red “MAGA” hat and said, “Make America Great Again! Let&#8217;s do it,” as she cheered. 
The popular quarterback&#8217;s wife Brittany Mahomes made headlines earlier this year when she liked a post shared by former President Donald Trump, then immediately went on defense against the “haters&#8221; who attacked her.
In the original post shared by Trump on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C-m53xGu3MY/">Instagram</a>, the former president listed “The 2024 GOP Platform” to “Make America Great Again,” noting things like tax cuts, no tax on tips, securing the border, and stopping illegal immigration. He also posted about a promise to “end inflation,” “Make America Affordable Again,” and “Keep men out of women’s sports.”
Mahomes’ wife liked the post, without explaining which of the ideas she agreed with — and she then hit back at those who tried to cancel her, delivering a clear message to leftist adults who were upset, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C_B3CgGSRxC/?img_index=1">OutKick</a> reported.

“I mean honestly,” Brittany’s <a href="https://www.instagram.com/brittanylynne/">Instagram Story</a> read. “To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood.”
“There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well,” she added.
Not even a week later, Mahomes’ wife appeared on the Whoop podcast and made it clear she doesn’t “give a f*** what people have to say about” her anymore, crediting her husband with teaching her not to worry about what others think, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/i-dont-give-a-f-about-critics-brittany-mahomes-after-getting-ripped-for-liking-trump-post">reported</a>.
“Yeah, I think we got kind of thrown into the fire together, and I think that’s what helped us, you know, do so well in the life that we are, is that we did it all together. And he is a lot better at it than I am, maybe because his dad played professional sports,” Brittany said. “So I think he was around it and he understood it a lot more than I did. So having him to help me get through it has helped a lot because he’s very good at, you know, managing those things and blocking people out.”
The Chiefs QB previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/patrick-mahomes-reveals-why-he-wont-be-endorsing-a-presidential-candidate">explained</a> why he wouldn’t be endorsing any presidential candidate this year, and said his only role was to remind people to do “their own research” when it came to voting.
During a Chiefs <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9NT-Dz4qHI">press conference</a>, Mahomes was asked by reporters about <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-reacts-to-taylor-swifts-kamala-endorsement">Trump’s</a> comments praising <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/brittany-mahomes">Brittany</a> after she liked his “MAGA” post.
“I’ve always said, I don’t want my place or my platform to be used to endorse a candidate … either way,” Mahomes said. “I think my place is to inform people to get registered to vote, to inform people to do their own research, and then make their best decision for them and their family.”
And Patrick explained that the ability to do so is “what makes America so great.”
