Far-left commentator <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/briahna-joy-gray" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Briahna Joy Gray</a>, a former staffer for socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (VT), was fired by The Hill on Thursday, which comes after she generated significant backlash this week for rolling her eyes at a survivor of Hamas&#8217; <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/october-7" target="_blank" rel="noopener">October 7</a> terrorist attack.
Gray, now a former co-host of The Hill’s &#8220;Rising,&#8221; posted a screenshot of the email that she claims she got that informed her she would no longer be employed by the company.
&#8220;This is 30 days written notice that your consulting services agreement is being terminated pursuant to the provisions of Section 5.3. For Convenience,&#8221; the message said. &#8220;Thank you for your contributions and we wish the best in your future endeavors.&#8221;
&#8220;It finally happened. The Hill has fired me. There should be no doubt that @RisingTheHill has a clear pattern of suppressing speech,&#8221; she claimed.

The move comes after an interview that Gray had with Yarden Gonen, the sister of Romi Gonen, who was kidnapped by Palestinian Islamic terrorists with Hamas during their brutal October 7 massacre.
Yarden Gonen said at the end of the interview that she hoped Gray would believe Israeli women when they say that they were raped during the October 7 massacre.

Last month, at an event titled “Debate: Israel’s War on Hamas is a Just War,” Gray reacted to the harsh reception from the audience over her pro-Hamas arguments by reportedly saying, “It’s disgusting. I hope someone drops a bomb on this entire building.”
During the debate, Gray insisted that the terrorist group Hamas, whose members have stated they intend to kill every Jew on the planet, has no interest in killing all the Jews in Israel, only wishing to establish a state “like what we have here in the United States.”
“When Hamas is talking about eliminating Israel, it’s not talking about killing all the Jews … it’s about eliminating the idea of a Jewish state, ending a Jewish state, ending an ethno-national state, having a state or like what we have in the United States of America,” Gray claimed.

Gray, cohost of The Hill&#8217;s Rising and former National Press Secretary for the Bernie Sanders 2020 presidential campaign, shared the stage with moderator Konstantin Kisin and fellow panelists Michael Moynihan, Eli Lake, and Jake Klein.

After video of the exchange in which Gray talked about “ending a Jewish state” was posted, Gray <a href="https://x.com/briebriejoy/status/1796948805666967633">slammed</a> Kisin on Twitter, saying he “interjected at every turn.” Brianna Wu, former candidate for the U.S. House in Massachusetts, reacted, “That moderator has a name, [Konstantin Kisin]. And he has a lot more integrity than you do.  Your ‘forceful argument’ is just whitewashing Hamas. You treat them like they’re the safety patrol and they’re bloodthirsty rapists whose literal charter is to genocide all Jews.”
Kisin then tweeted, “Oh, I don&#8217;t mind her jibe. She struggled on the night (stormed off crying, threw mic at the organisers after failing to answer a single question) and reading the comments on the video even pro-Palestine people were embarrassed by her behaviour. Leaving your echo chamber is painful.”
Kisin later added, “DEI Barbie is upset. Imagine participating in a debate about Israel and Palestine. Imagine answering literally zero of the questions you were asked. Imagine talking over everyone else and being disrespectful to fellow panellists and the moderator.
