A Border Patrol sector on the United State’s northern border with <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/canada" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Canada</a> recorded more illegal alien apprehensions in the 2024 fiscal year than in the last 17 years combined.
Agents in the Swanton Border Patrol sector, which covers Vermont, New Hampshire, and part of New York, recorded 19,222 illegal immigrant apprehensions in fiscal year 2024, marking a drastic uptick from previous years. The illegal migrants came from 97 different countries around the world.

Border Patrol recorded 6,925 apprehensions in the Swanton sector during fiscal year 2023, which was a drastic increase from the 1,065 in fiscal year 2022.
Apprehensions in the northern border sector experienced a surge after the Biden-Harris administration entered the White House. While 1,065 apprehensions were recorded in fiscal year 2019, the highest of any year under the Trump presidency, the figure for fiscal year 2024 under the Biden-Harris administration marks more than 18 times as many apprehensions.

The surge in illegal immigration has been so drastic under the Biden-Harris administration that the foreign-born population residing in the United States <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/foreign-born-population-hits-new-high-with-surge-under-biden-fueled-by-illegal-immigration">spiked to an all time high</a> of 51.6 million people as of March 2024. The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) analyzed the data, estimating that almost 58 percent of the increase in the foreign born population under the Biden-Harris administration was due to illegal immigration.
CIS also found that “only 46 percent of the foreign-born who arrived in 2022 or later were employed in the first part of 2024” and that only eight percent of those who are not currently working say they are looking for work.
Vice President Kamala Harris has attempted to pivot on the critical election year issue and present herself as a proponent of border enforcement, even resorting to running an <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kamala-harris-ad-features-trumps-border-wall-as-harris-pivots-on-immigration">advertisement</a> that features an image of President Donald Trump’s border wall.

Vance contended that &#8220;real leadership&#8221; would involve an admission that undoing the border policies of his running mate, former President Donald Trump, was a mistake.
&#8220;I wish she would do that. It would be good for all of us,&#8221; Vance said.

Harris continued, saying that American is “a nation of immigrants,” and as such pains must be taken to reform the immigration system so that it functions properly and “makes our country stronger.”
Despite her recent attempt to appear tough on illegal immigration, Harris has presided over an unprecedented flood of illegal immigrants into the United States as vice president.

The vice president added during her Arizona speech that she supports the recent border security bill, a controversial bipartisan plan that faced intense criticism from many Republicans, and would, according to <a href="https://www.heritage.org/homeland-security/report/the-senate-border-bill-disaster-border-security">The Heritage Foundation</a>, codify “crisis levels of daily illegal immigration” and make it difficult for a future president to deal with the issue.
Harris continued: &#8220;On behalf of all, across our nation, who want to see these problems solved, I say, we cannot accept Donald Trump&#8217;s failure to lead, we should not permit scapegoating instead of solutions &#8230; or rhetoric instead of results.&#8221;

Mothers of people murdered by illegal aliens are speaking out against the Biden-Harris administration’s failure to tackle the border crisis, alleging that “no one is safe” after years of “open border” policies.
Alexis Nungaray and Patty Morin, both of whom lost their daughters to illegal alien murderers, were joined Friday by Anne Fundner, who lost her son to fentanyl poisoning as the drug has streamed across America’s southern border.
The three mothers, each of whom noted that they have not heard from Harris, spoke out against her border policies on a call organized by former President Donald Trump&#8217;s campaign as the Democratic nominee <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/harris-criticize-trump-1st-visit-border-3-years/story?id=114245136">visited</a> the southern border for the first time in more than three years.
“Rachel was a young, beautiful young mother to five children. She went out August 5th for a walk after her day of work. She walked a trail that she&#8217;s walked since she was young,” Morin explained before detailing the attack on her daughter, which took place in Bel Air, Maryland.
“He dragged her through the woods, over rocks and trees … he raped her,” Rachel Morin’s mother continued. “There were 10 to 15 head wounds that she suffered. He strangled her and he stuffed her into a drainpipe, and this in the trail where mothers with baby carriages walk their children.”
“Kamala Harris has not acknowledged my daughter&#8217;s death. Kamala Harris has not acknowledged that there is a problem at the border and that it is a threat to the American people, but I can tell you that it&#8217;s a threat,” Morin said.“Her children don’t have a mother,” Morin said of her grandchildren.
Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez, a 23-year-old illegal alien from El Salvador, was <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/06/17/us/rachel-morin-murder-suspect-arrest/index.html">arrested</a> for the murder of Rachel Morin across the country in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Patty Morin was joined by Alexis Nungaray, the mother of Jocelyn Nungaray, a 12-year-old who was allegedly <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/mother-of-12-year-old-alleged-murdered-by-venezuelan-illegal-aliens-speaks-out">murdered</a> by two Venezuelan illegal aliens in Houston who are accused of luring her under a bridge.
“They were down there for two whole hours,” Nungaray said through tears. “I can&#8217;t even think what was going through her mind, knowing she was never going to come home again.”
“She was strangled, left with no pants … her hand and her ankles were both bound,” Jocelyn’s mother said.
“Individuals like that are not human. They are monsters,” Nungaray said of her daughter&#8217;s killers. “These are the kind of individuals that we just so openly let in our country because of Kamala Harris,” Nungaray stated. “I believe these open border policies are responsible for the death of my 12-year-old daughter.”
The two illegal alien suspects, Nungaray explained, were allowed into the country and given a notice to appear in immigration court before the two allegedly carried out the brutal murder.
The surge in illegal immigration under the Biden-Harris administration has been accompanied by a spike in fentanyl being trafficked into the United States. Anne Fundner is the mother of Weston Fundner, a southern California teen who lost his life to fentanyl poisoning.
Fundner said that she holds the Biden-Harris administration “directly complicit in the deaths of over 300,000 Americans,” pointing out that fentanyl has become the top cause of death for Americans between the ages of 18 to 45.
“This tragedy could have been prevented if Vice President Kamala Harris had prioritized border security and stopped the flow of deadly fentanyl into our country,” she added.
Fundner went on to slam Harris for visiting the border for the first time in years, blasting it as a conveniently timed political stunt.
“Today, 39 days before the election, and nearly three and a half years into her appointment as border czar, she finally visits the actual border for what appears to be a photo op. And I&#8217;m here to say How disgraceful this gesture is. A photo op won’t bring our kids back.”

“We live in Maryland, that&#8217;s almost 2,000 miles from the southern border. No one in my town would have expected an illegal immigrant living in our town to attack, brutally murder my daughter, and then continue to live in my town while there was a nationwide manhunt,” Morin explained.
“No one is safe in America, no one is safe,&#8221; she warned. &#8220;If you have a sanctuary city in your state, you&#8217;re not safe.”

House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Mark E. Green (R-TN) harshly reacted to reports that Vice President Kamala Harris planned a trip to the Southwest border of the United States on Friday, snapping that she was the “arsonist returning to the scene of the fire.”
Harris was charged by President Joe Biden with responsibility for handling the border crisis: in March 2021. ‘Arsonist Returning To The Scene Of The Fire’: Homeland Security Chair On Kamala Visiting Border

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/border-patrol" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Border Patrol</a> agents are sounding the alarm about increased child exploitation at the southern border, where children as young as 8 years old have been found drugged and “recycled” by smugglers.
In recent weeks, authorities have rescued numerous children at the border from smugglers, border patrol sources have told the <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/09/24/us-news/kids-are-being-drugged-and-trafficked-into-the-us-border-patrol/">New York Post</a>. 
In one instance, a woman traveling with two children, ages 8 and 11, was found to have drugged the minors with sleeping pills. The woman was not related to the children, though she tried to pose as their mother. The authentic birth certificates she showed authorities were not for the children she was traveling with. 
Border agents, in another case, rescued a child who had similarly been “heavily dosed with sleep aids to prevent him from talking” to authorities, the Post report says. Those traffickers had birth certificates for other children, too.
Agents say smugglers are using children numerous times, or “recycling&#8221; them, to pose as family units and try to gain entry to the U.S. 
One border patrol source told the Post that at the height of an immigration influx, they had to “let family units in.” He said after a while, agents noticed the same children cycling through, but with different “parents.”

There have been <a href="https://www.borderreport.com/immigration/border-crime/cruz-says-wristbands-smugglers-use-to-track-migrants-are-like-leg-irons/">reports</a> for years about migrants wearing wristbands that correspond with how much money they owe cartels for helping them get to the US. Elected officials have highlighted this exploitation, specifically to children, and urged for increased border security.
“Along the southern border, you see thousands of these wristbands because the illegal immigrants wear them,&#8221; Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) <a href="https://x.com/TheThe1776/status/1640849576121991168/video/1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas last year, during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. 
&#8220;Every color corresponds to how many thousands of dollars they owe the cartels,&#8221; the senator continued. &#8220;You have turned these cartels into multibillion-dollar criminal organizations. And these are modern-day leg irons, because these are children being sold into sex slavery.”

The exploitation is happening to young migrants after the Biden-Harris administration is quickly placing them with sponsors, too. 
Muckraker <a href="https://x.com/realmuckraker/status/1838955113718722583" target="_blank" rel="noopener">posted</a> a video this week of first-hand accounts of young migrants who were placed with sponsors and suffered. One minor said her sponsor is forcing her to pay her $10,000 for taking her in. Another young female, who ended up temporarily homeless, described a similar experience.
“She would tell me that if I didn’t have money for rent, she would kick me out,&#8221; the minor said. &#8220;And to this day, she’s still charging me $4,000 for my trip from Honduras.”

Last year, it was initially reported that <a href="https://oversight.house.gov/release/hearing-wrap-up-orr-director-fails-to-answer-questions-about-85000-lost-unaccompanied-alien-children-flawed-vetting-of-sponsors-and-more%EF%BF%BC/">85,000 unaccompanied migrant children</a> were unaccounted for, or lost, by HHS. The number is currently estimated at 320,000.
Due to the migrant influx, the HHS Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) has been overwhelmed, and Republicans say the department is prioritizing the speedy release of migrant children over their safety, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/democrats-move-to-loosen-oversight-of-sponsors-that-take-and-often-lose-migrant-children" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Daily Wire&#8217;s Luke Rosiak</a> reported.
Still, Senate Democrats are working to loosen oversight of child migrant sponsorship. Under the proposed “<a href="https://www.congress.gov/118/bills/s4393/BILLS-118s4393is.xml">Children’s Safe Welcome Act of 2024</a>,” HHS would have to make its decision about whether to release a child to a proposed sponsor within just seven days of receiving an application.

An illegal immigrant who was deported during the Trump administration before making his way back into the U.S. pleaded guilty earlier this week to killing 25-year-old Michigan resident Ruby Garcia.
<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/once-deported-illegal-immigrant-charged-with-murder-in-shooting-death-of-25-year-old-michigan-woman" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brandon Ortiz-Vite</a>, also 25, pleaded guilty on Monday to one count of second-degree murder, one count of carjacking, one count of carrying a concealed weapon, and one count of using a firearm in the commission of a felony after killing Garcia and dumping her body on the side of a freeway in March, WOOD TV 8 <a href="https://www.woodtv.com/news/grand-rapids/man-pleads-guilty-to-killing-girlfriend-dumping-body-on-us-131/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. Garcia&#8217;s family pushed for a plea deal instead of going through a trial, according to Kent County, Michigan, Prosecutor Chris Becker. Ortiz-Vite faces at least 30 to 37 years in prison.
Shortly after Ortiz-Vite turned himself over to authorities and Garcia&#8217;s body was found, an ICE spokesman <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/once-deported-illegal-immigrant-charged-with-murder-in-shooting-death-of-25-year-old-michigan-woman" target="_blank" rel="noopener">confirmed</a> to The Daily Wire that the killer is an illegal immigrant from Mexico. Ortiz-Vite &#8220;was arrested by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Detroit on Aug. 31, 2020&#8221; and then &#8220;removed to Mexico [on] Sept. 29, 2020,” according to ICE.
&#8220;At an unknown date and location Ortiz-Vite reentered the United States without inspection by an immigration official,&#8221; the ICE spokesman added.
Ortiz-Vite first arrived in the U.S. as a child and was allowed to stay in the country under former President Barack Obama&#8217;s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, according to WOOD TV 8. DACA recipients were allowed to seek renewal to remain in the country every two years, but Ortiz-Vite&#8217;s DACA status expired in May 2019, a year after he was jailed for breaking into his ex-girlfriend&#8217;s home and standing over her bed. The Mexican national wasn&#8217;t deported until 2020 after a drunken driving arrest.
After coming back to the U.S. illegally, Ortiz-Vite became friends with Garcia. On March 22 of this year, the illegal immigrant reportedly got into an argument with Garcia while she was driving him home. According to testimony from a detective, “During that altercation, [Ortiz-Vite] remembered that he had his handgun with him.&#8221;

Two days after Garcia was murdered, Ortiz-Vite called 911 and was heard saying, &#8220;I’m calling ’cause I wanna turn myself in for a murder I committed two nights ago.&#8221;
Ortiz-Vite is scheduled to be sentenced on October 31.

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/chicago" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chicago</a> gang members and ex-convicts are warning of coming violent turf wars with newly arrived Venezuelan migrants who are part of the notorious gang Tren De Aragua, or TDA. 
Not unlike other cities across the country, Chicago has been inundated with migrants as the border crisis rages on. Since 2022, an estimated 48,000 migrants have come to the city, with the majority of new migrant arrivals hailing from Venezuela.
“When the black gangs here get fed up with the illegalities and criminal activities of these migrants or non-citizens, the city of Chicago is going to go up in flames and there will be nothing the National Guard or the government can do about it when the bloodshed hits the streets,&#8221; Tyrone Muhammad, an ex-con and former gang member, <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/09/22/us-news/chicago-gangbangers-face-off-against-venezuelans/">told</a> the New York Post. &#8220;It’ll be blacks against migrants.”
Members of TDA are taking over Chicago turf, residents said. They&#8217;re also receiving robust welfare benefits, further angering residents and gang members who say the money should be going to Chicago citizens who are suffering. 
“The real issue is that America has allowed gangs to enter our country,&#8221; a former gang member told the Post. &#8220;They let terrorist groups into our country!”
Residents say TDA gang members and other migrants are flooding their shelters, increasingly taking up apartments, and displacing Chicago residents.

The displacement of residents is happening elsewhere, too, like in Springfield, Ohio. There, Haitian migrants, who are subsidized by taxpayers, are sometimes paying $3,000 a month in rent, which citizens can&#8217;t afford to pay.
It&#8217;s unclear how many TDA gang members are in the city, though authorities have confirmed that these gang members are present. With Venezuelan immigrants, U.S. officials are <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/immigration/tren-de-aragua-venezuelan-gang-members-slip-into-us-rcna156290">not given their criminal history</a>. Cuba, China, and some other countries also don’t share criminal records with the U.S. This makes it impossible for authorities to know who is a criminal.
Just last year, some 330,000 Venezuelans crossed the southern border. During the Biden-Harris regime, thus far, close to a million have tried to enter the U.S.
TDA migrant gang members are causing issues in other parts of the nation, too. As the governor of a border state, Greg Abbott of Texas is on the front lines of dealing with the gang.
“TDA is notorious for their brutal violence and murder, and their kidnapping, extortion, bribery, and trafficking of drugs, weapons, and even humans,&#8221; Gov. Abbott <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JdWiBClZno">said</a> during a press conference last week. 
&#8220;They&#8217;ve been linked to more than 100 law enforcement investigations across the country,&#8221; the governor continued. &#8220;They were involved in the brutal attack and assault upon New York Police Department law enforcement officers. Reports have also linked TDA to the murder of Laken Riley.”
There have also been reports and shocking footage of alleged migrant TDA gang members in Aurora, Colorado. One man <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/09/11/politics/colorado-apartment-complex-battleground-immigration/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> CNN that condemned buildings he owns in Aurora have been taken over by TDA gang members. There was also shocking <a href="https://denvergazette.com/news/aurora-shut-down-gang-controlled-apartment-owner-take-control-building/article_fb219b58-79c5-11ef-be56-5fd5d3214334.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">video</a> circulating online out of an apartment complex showing armed men walking down hallways and kicking open an apartment door. 
Authorities in Aurora, who’ve largely tried to downplay some of these shocking reports, made arrests in connection to that apartment complex incident and have admitted that it’s <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/colorado/news/aurora-crime-involving-venezuelans-police-arrest-warrants-men-shooting-12th-dallas-street/">possible</a> these men are tied to TDA. They noted that it’s hard to confirm the connection since Venezuela doesn’t share criminal background information with the U.S.

Former President Donald Trump slammed Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday after it was reported that the Democratic nominee intends to visit the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/border-crisis" target="_blank" rel="noopener">U.S. southern border</a> later this week.
CNN <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/09/23/politics/harris-campaign-possible-southern-border-trip/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> on Monday that Harris will visit the U.S.-Mexico border during a campaign stop in Arizona on Friday as her opponent continues to focus on illegal immigration and the record number of border encounters under the Biden-Harris administration. Trump blasted Harris&#8217; plan in a Truth Social post, saying it&#8217;s a &#8220;disgrace&#8221; that the vice president &#8220;waited so long.&#8221;

President Joe Biden put Harris in charge of addressing the &#8220;root causes&#8221; of migration shortly after the Democratic leaders were sworn into office in 2021. Since then, Customs and Border Protection has <a href="https://homeland.house.gov/2024/05/22/startling-stats-factsheet-biden-administration-on-track-to-reach-10-million-encounters-nationwide-before-end-of-fiscal-year/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> around 10 million encounters along the southern border. Nearly two million &#8220;gotaways&#8221; have also been reported since Biden and Harris took office.
The Democratic nominee&#8217;s visit to the southern border was set up after some of her campaign officials expressed concern about her polling on the issue of immigration, according to CNN. An Associated Press <a href="https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/americans-view-harris-as-more-honest-and-disciplined-slightly-favor-trump-on-economy-and-immigration-ap-norc-poll-finds" target="_blank" rel="noopener">poll</a> released last month shows that Trump is trusted by 45% of voters on immigration compared to 38% who trust Harris more.

CNN contributor Scott Jennings argued on Monday that Harris&#8217; plan to visit the border &#8220;is not going to change&#8221; how voters view her on immigration.

Just one day before her debate with President Donald Trump, Vice President Kamala Harris finally released her <a href="https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/kamalaharris.com/issues/__;!!PxibshUo2Yr_Ta5B!yx33iqbf6C22e-g6ks3Y-C38HoAU7tYV8nGCENr387qlvpztWxZrY5ZINNpuAZwRP_lDvGdiPRTtHqTx6e7hbrSZ$" target="_blank" rel="noopener">policy platform</a> to the American public — and it’s just as progressive as you would expect.
The website touts the platform as a “New Way Forward,” a framing that echoes her frequent refrain “We&#8217;re not going back.” But in the few areas where her platform actually proposes specific policy positions, one thing is crystal clear: with Kamala Harris as president, we will indeed be going back – to an even more extreme version of President Biden’s failed leftist agenda.
From her foreign policy and border plan, to her economic policies, to her social agenda, Harris espouses an extreme progressive ideology far more radical than her boss. Her platform would mean disaster for the economic stability, national security, and moral fabric of this country.
Given rising international tensions, Harris’ foreign policy views warrant particular scrutiny. The Biden-Harris approach has led to the first major land war in Europe since World War II, the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, an inflamed Middle East, and a growing threat from totalitarian regimes in China and North Korea. Her platform to address these threats only perpetuates the misguided leftist approach: appeasing adversaries and avoiding escalation at all costs. The influx of illegal migrants into sanctuary cities has created an overflow of chaos and crime into surrounding suburbs, displayed most recently by <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/sanctuary-citys-policies-push-violent-migrant-gang-suburbs-nationwide-problem" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Venezuelan prison gang violence</a> in Denver’s Aurora suburb. Every state is a border state under <a href="https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/advancingamericanfreedom.com/aaf-kamala-harris-border-czar-record/__;!!PxibshUo2Yr_Ta5B!yx33iqbf6C22e-g6ks3Y-C38HoAU7tYV8nGCENr387qlvpztWxZrY5ZINNpuAZwRP_lDvGdiPRTtHqTx6fvjyIjL$" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Harris’ philosophy</a>, which leaves communities reeling from the mounting violence, crime, and economic burden of mass migration. Enough is enough — <a href="https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.fairus.org/issue/examples-serious-crimes-illegal-aliens__;!!PxibshUo2Yr_Ta5B!yx33iqbf6C22e-g6ks3Y-C38HoAU7tYV8nGCENr387qlvpztWxZrY5ZINNpuAZwRP_lDvGdiPRTtHqTx6S6hw9xh$" target="_blank" rel="noopener">too many Americans</a> have been attacked, assaulted, and killed by illegal migrants in crimes that could have been prevented by sound policy and strong borders. 
Harris’ reckless immigration and foreign policy positions bleed into misinformed economic policies. In the name of “building an opportunity economy,” Harris’ platform proposes communist style price controls, continues Biden’s massive federal regulations that are projected to cost the American economy <a href="https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.americanactionforum.org/insight/harris-vs-trump-assessing-the-potential-regulatory-policy-paths-in-the-2024-election/__;!!PxibshUo2Yr_Ta5B!yx33iqbf6C22e-g6ks3Y-C38HoAU7tYV8nGCENr387qlvpztWxZrY5ZINNpuAZwRP_lDvGdiPRTtHqTx6eQzNqsy$">$1.69 trillion</a>, and increases the corporate tax burden. Her proposals are likely to send the country spiraling into recession, sending jobs overseas, increasing the deficit, and worsening the economic pain Americans are feeling from four years of the Biden-Harris administration. The U.S. economy will only flourish when we eliminate burdensome regulation, reduce spending, encourage investment here at home, and lower taxes as we did through the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. This is the path toward prosperity for all.
On social policy and abortion, Harris’ leftist agenda is in full force. Harris voted to <a href="https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.dailysignal.com/2024/09/10/fact-checking-claims-made-in-trump-harris-debate/__;!!PxibshUo2Yr_Ta5B!yx33iqbf6C22e-g6ks3Y-C38HoAU7tYV8nGCENr387qlvpztWxZrY5ZINNpuAZwRP_lDvGdiPRTtHqTx6e42OTSy$" target="_blank" rel="noopener">block a 2019 bill</a> that would require medical care for babies born during failed abortions, and during the debate, she refused to answer whether she supports abortions up until the moment of birth. As President, she would seek to reinstate Roe v. Wade, which, contrary to the impression left by the debate moderators, allowed individual states to sanction abortion at any time.
Harris’ alarmingly progressive social platform also includes expanding and normalizing the transgender agenda, pushing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policies, and targeting faith-based institutions. These policies will decay our moral fabric, undermine civil society, incite division, and cause unimaginable harm to the next generation of Americans.

In light of her extreme positions across the board, it&#8217;s no surprise that nearly half of respondents to a recent <a href="https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.nytimes.com/interactive/2024/09/08/us/politics/times-siena-poll-likely-electorate-crosstabs.html__;!!PxibshUo2Yr_Ta5B!yx33iqbf6C22e-g6ks3Y-C38HoAU7tYV8nGCENr387qlvpztWxZrY5ZINNpuAZwRP_lDvGdiPRTtHqTx6YeEUzIT$" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York Times and Siena College poll</a> think Harris is “too liberal or progressive.” Her <a href="https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/advancingamericanfreedom.com/democrats-say-theyre-for-freedom-not-so-fast/__;!!PxibshUo2Yr_Ta5B!yx33iqbf6C22e-g6ks3Y-C38HoAU7tYV8nGCENr387qlvpztWxZrY5ZINNpuAZwRP_lDvGdiPRTtHqTx6WzSZqce$" target="_blank" rel="noopener">progressive vision of freedom</a> can only emerge by sacrificing our fundamental rights and privileges. Her “freedom to reproductive healthcare” means trampling the rights of the faithful. “Freedom from fear of gun violence” means revoking Second Amendment rights. The “freedom not just to get by, but to get ahead” means tax hikes and higher welfare spending.
What America needs now more than ever are policies that reflect the country’s traditional values and meet the urgent needs of Americans suffering under crippling inflation, crime, the opioid epidemic, and significant international unrest. The Harris agenda is not, in fact, “A New Way Forward,” but a far more extreme version of the well-known failed policies of the current Biden-Harris administration. The Vice President is right, America will not go back.
