<p><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/celebrities"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kelly Rizzo</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, 44, attended the 2024 </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/grammys"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Grammy Awards</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> with actor Breckin Meyer, 49, per </span><a href="https://www.eonline.com/news/1394493/kelly-rizzo-dating-breckin-meyer-2-years-after-husband-bob-sagets-death"><span style="font-weight: 400;">E! News</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">. She spoke with the outlet about how she believes Saget would have approved of her moving on.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;It took a while to get to the point where I&#8217;m like, ‘OK, I think [Bob would] be happy with it,'&#8221; Rizzo told the outlet. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">She previously </span><a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/bob-sagets-daughters-gave-widow-kelly-rizzo-blessing-date-again-couldnt-ask-greater-gift"><span style="font-weight: 400;">spoke</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> to Fox News Digital about how Saget’s kids reacted to the idea of her dating again. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;It’s meant everything,&#8221; Rizzo said during an interview in December. &#8220;Even though it’s something that you don’t think you need permission for, it meant everything to me to have their blessing and just knowing that they want me to be happy and that they love me.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">She continued, &#8220;And the two of them saying that Bob would want me to be happy meant everything because they’re his kids. They knew him best.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;I’d love to think that Bob would want me to be happy, too, but to hear it from them is just a totally different level,&#8221; Rizzo said. &#8220;And it meant the world just to hear, ‘Hey, we trust you. We love you. We know you’re going to do what’s right, and we want you to be happy.&#8217; To continually have their support – I couldn’t ask for a greater gift.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Rizzo was married to Saget from 2018 until he died in 2022. Saget had three daughters with his first wife, Sherri Kramer, to whom he was married from 1982 until 1997.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Saget died in a hotel room in January 2022 at the age of 65 from blunt head trauma believed to be caused by a fall. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;I had never lost anybody before,&#8221; she told Fox News. &#8220;So I was new to this world&#8230; And having conversations about grief can still be a little taboo. Nobody really wants to talk about it because it’s not the most fun topic. But I thought, ‘How can I make this more comforting and palatable, no pun intended?’ So, I thought, I’ll discuss grief with my guest’s favorite comfort food.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Rizzo said she wanted to keep things from getting too heavy, though.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;I also wanted to make sure that a lot of my guests would be comedians,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I wanted to bring in a different type of angle to the topic. I wanted to talk about grief in a more lighthearted way… Humor can be healing. It allows us to really talk about the topic, but also learn how to get through it.&#8221;</span></p>

<p>Kelly Rizzo, widow of the late comedian Bob Saget, took some time over the Christmas weekend to reflect on her first holiday season without the &#8220;Full House&#8221; star.</p>
<p>Rizzo shared her thoughts — along with several throwback photos of herself with the former &#8220;America&#8217;s Funniest Videos&#8221; host in happier times — in an Instagram post on Saturday.</p>
<p>&#8220;Cherish every single moment,&#8221; Rizzo began, adding, &#8220;I certainly didn’t think that our first Christmas together (in the same city) last year would be our last.&#8221;</p>

His official cause of death was listed as head trauma, according to a statement from his family shortly after he passed: &#8220;The authorities have determined that Bob passed from head trauma. They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep. No drugs or alcohol were involved.&#8221;</p>

<p>Bure responded by <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/i-called-her-candace-cameron-bures-all-class-response-after-jojo-siwa-trashes-her-as-rudest-celebrity/">calling Siwa</a> to clear the air, noting that she had been blind-sided by the viral accusation and that until they spoke, she had no idea what the &#8220;Dance Moms&#8221; teen was talking about. At that point Siwa revealed that she had once asked Bure for a photo at a red carpet event — the 2016 premiere of &#8220;Fuller House&#8221; — only to be turned down and then watch as the actress took photos for other people.</p>
<p>Siwa reportedly acknowledged during the phone call that it wasn&#8217;t really a big deal anymore, but Bure still apologized to her personally, admitting that she felt &#8220;crummy&#8221; for making Siwa, then 11 years old, feel as though she had been snubbed.</p>
<p>She then shared a video apology as well.</p>

<p>According to the video, Siwa had blown off her accusation as just a &#8220;silly TikTok&#8221; and had not intended to hurt anyone or to have it blow up in the way that it did — and Bure said that it was certainly worth taking a lesson to heart from the experience.</p>
<p>&#8220;I think the lesson we can learn … is that even a ten-second trending TikTok video can do damage, because our words matter, and our actions matter,&#8221; she said before extending an apology to anyone who might have met her in the past and been disappointed in the way that Siwa had.</p>
<p>To those who have &#8220;personally run into me, and I was not the person you were hoping for or expecting, I just want to say I’m sorry,&#8221; she said.</p>

<p>Two Florida deputies have each been suspended over leaking the news of Bob Saget&#8217;s death before his family had been notified.</p>
<p>The Orange County Sheriff&#8217;s Office announced the suspensions of 81 hours without pay for each officer on Monday.</p>
<p>“This case highlights how important it is to allow detectives in death investigations the time to ensure next of kin notifications are made before that information is disseminated to the public,” Orange County Sheriff John Mina said in a <a href="https://apnews.com/article/entertainment-florida-orlando-bob-saget-295bbc6088b20f5e0ce359ce636ed352" target="_blank" rel="noopener">statement</a>.</p>
<p>“The deputies acknowledged their wrongdoing and were disciplined for their actions,&#8221; the statement added.</p>
<p>The report explained that one of the deputies told his brother about Saget&#8217;s death, who then posted the information online. The other officer, who was off-duty and not assigned to the investigation, mentioned Saget&#8217;s death to a neighbor ahead of the family&#8217;s notification.</p>
<p>Page Six reported in March that both Kelly Rizzo, Saget&#8217;s wife, as well as a crew member on &#8220;Fuller House&#8221; confirmed that Saget was not feeling well at the time of his death.</p>
<p>“The records released tell the entire story — that is, Bob passed away after a fall and hitting his head in his hotel room,” the Saget family’s attorney, Brian H. Bieber, shared in a statement on behalf of Rizzo, <a href="https://pagesix.com/2022/03/24/bob-sagets-widow-stands-by-autopsy-amid-claim-he-felt-ill/?utm_source=P6Twitter&amp;utm_medium=SocialFlow&amp;utm_campaign=SocialFlow&amp;crl8_id=3ff6062c-bcb8-4e3f-8b2e-38269f59b130">reported</a> Page Six.</p>

<p>The event occurred the day before news surfaced that he was found dead in his hotel room. Cocci also said Saget was suffering from “long-term COVID” following the official autopsy report that determined he had died from blunt head trauma, as <a href="https://pagesix.com/2022/02/10/autopsy-reveals-bob-saget-had-multiple-skull-fractures/?_ga=2.189027883.1654567991.1648069798-212677189.1646695496">reported</a> previously by the outlet.</p>
<p>Saget’s family filed a lawsuit against the Orange County Sheriff’s office in February to block the release of records related to his death. In March, a Florida judge granted a permanent injunction in favor of the family&#8217;s request.</p>
<p>Saget family attorney Brian Bieber released a statement on behalf of the family following the ruling.</p>
<p>“The entire Saget family is grateful that the Judge granted their request for an injunction to preserve Bob’s dignity, as well as their privacy rights, especially after suffering this unexpected and tragic loss. We are pleased this issue has been resolved, and the healing process can continue to move forward. All of the prayers and well wishes continuously extended to the family are beyond appreciated,” Bieber told <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2022/03/14/entertainment/bob-saget-injunction/index.html">CNN</a>.</p>

<p>Just months before his tragic death in January, comedian Bob Saget stated in an eerily prescient interview that he had come to accept his own mortality.</p>
<p>Saget died on January 9 from head injuries he suffered in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida; the Orange County Sheriff&#8217;s Office <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/officials-release-new-information-about-final-moments-before-bob-saget-died/">released details</a> of Chief Medical Examiner Joshua Stephany&#8217;s autopsy  in which he “explained that the amount of force necessary to cause the fracture, coupled with the fact that the skin on the back of the head was still intact, led him to believe that the injury was most likely caused by ‘something hard, covered by something soft,’ and he gave, as an example, a fall onto a carpeted floor.”</p>
<p>On Monday, the first part of Saget’s May 2021 interview with Radio Rahim&#8217;s Til This Day <a href="https://luminarypodcasts.com/listen/pilot-boy-productions-salt-and-radio-rahim/society-&amp;-culture/be7987f7-0ddd-4473-b96b-d43bc39f25f5">podcast </a>was released. Discussing his own mortality, Saget stated, &#8220;I&#8217;m proud of myself because I&#8217;m onto a new thing. At 65, I&#8217;m different than I was.”</p>
<p>Saget explained that as he grew up, one or another of his relatives was dying every two years, remembering, “We had so many deaths growing up, that my dad would just instill [the notion of enjoying life] in me. &#8230; He didn&#8217;t teach it to me, I just saw how he reacted.”</p>
<p>“[The deaths] started when I was like seven, and then every two years somebody died. &#8230; [I had] a cousin die &#8211; she died at 23 of cancer after giving birth to her child &#8211; and then a lot of cousins went through a lot of hardships, so I was like 9,10, 11, 12, 14,&#8221; when they died.</p>
<p>&#8220;It was a lot,” he added.</p>
<p>“There&#8217;s so much pain, and my parents couldn&#8217;t deal with it,”  he recalled. “And every time they finally started to regroup, something else terrible happened.”</p>
<p>Four of Saget’s father’s siblings died young of heart attacks, <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10893221/Bob-Saget-described-mortality-fortunately-changed-newly-released-podcast.html">The Daily Mail</a> noted.  When Saget’s last surviving uncle on his dad’s side died at 78, Saget’s father, then 85, spoke at the funeral. Saget recalled, “He gave the best speech.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;And his ending was something like, ‘I&#8217;ll see you in 30 years, Joe.’ And it&#8217;s so good to close with something sweet that makes people feel the love,” he said.</p>
<p>“I just don&#8217;t have the same way of doing humor or conversation,” Saget stated of his state of mind. “I guess therapy, having three kids, watching people pass away in the past few years, mortality, all that stuff has fortunately changed me. &#8230; My kids tell me, ‘Dad, you&#8217;re different. It&#8217;s so nice to watch you grow.’”</p>
<p>Saget’s sisters died before him;  his sister Gay died in 1994 of scleroderma, prompting him to push for a  made-for-television movie about the starring Dana Delaney playing a character based on his sister. He told Rahim, “That&#8217;s the best part about being an only child, man. You don&#8217;t have to worry about losing a sibling.”</p>
<p>“People who have accomplished great things and are consistently reaching to do something else are fighting against finality,” Rahim commented. “Like you say, ‘Well this could be my last job, every job could be my last job.’”</p>
<p>“Well I don&#8217;t have that. I got rid of that. I do not possess that,” Saget replied.</p>
<p>A report issued after Saget’s death stated that he told crew backstage before his last concert the night he died that he felt sick. That information came from audio of interviews conducted by Orange County Sheriff&#8217;s Office that included one with showrunner Rosalie Cocci, who told investigators that Saget had been complaining about his health before the performance.</p>
<p>A transcript from <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10643801/Bob-Saget-told-crew-backstage-final-not-feeling-well.html">the Daily Mail</a> of the interview said Cocci stated:</p>

<p>&#8220;But also it feels like yesterday you were here- and it still also feels like you never left?&#8221; she added. &#8220;I like to say it&#8217;s all a very weird new universe. Learning how to navigate it is quite the journey.&#8221;</p>

<p>Valet Orlando Nunez, one of the last people to see Saget alive, said that when Saget returned to the Ritz-Carlton he was eager to get home. He explained, “He said his family was sick and the next morning he planned to fly home to see them.”</p>

<p>According to the report, Saget’s “left arm was across his chest while his right arm was resting on the bed. No signs of trauma were seen.”</p>
<p>Saget was on the bed and was “cold to the touch, yellow and clammy” when he was discovered in his room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes.</p>
<p>TMZ, which was the first to <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2022/01/09/bob-saget-dead-dies-hotel-comedian-full-house/">report</a> Saget&#8217;s death, highlighted Saget’s career:</p>
