“You would see her out at the red chairs if there was a production meeting or whatever and I feel like I got to know Pharrell [Williams] more that year than I did Gwen,&#8221; Shelton said of her first year on the show. &#8220;It wasn&#8217;t until the season she came back, the next one, that the pieces were falling together.”
When asked what he would like the future to look like, he said a “repeat of these past 10 years” would be “perfect.”

&#8220;Next month, we&#8217;ve got an 18-year-old, which it blows my mind that already happened,” Shelton said. “And in a couple of years, we&#8217;ll have another 18-year-old. And that&#8217;s &#8230; it&#8217;s gonna be I guess a lot more alone time, which I&#8217;m not mad about that either.&#8221;
“But we still have Apollo, so we have another almost 10 years before we can kick him out, so it should be a lot of fun,” he added.

“He [Shelton’s father] took Richie on and raised him from the time he was 1 year old, and my brother never thought of my dad as anything other than his dad,&#8221; Shelton said at the time.
&#8220;The example that my dad set for me was that [child] was not even a consideration [in a romantic partnership],” he added. “You got three boys? Awesome! My dad did it. My dad raised me. I could do this. I didn&#8217;t know what I was signing up for, but I was all about signing up for it. And every day I&#8217;ve fallen in love with the boys as much as I do with Gwen.&#8221;

The 53-year-old <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/entertainment">pop singer</a> has been married to country singer and OK native Blake Shelton since 2021. She recently opened up to <a href="https://people.com/gwen-stefani-gets-candid-rock-stardom-motherhood-blake-shelton-cover-story-exclusive-7974935">People</a> about how she’s been adjusting to a more rustic life on the ranch.
&#8220;I am not really a dirt person, a bug person, I don&#8217;t like that much humidity,&#8221; Stefani told the outlet. &#8220;But it&#8217;s so beautiful [in Oklahoma], and you kind of feel like you&#8217;re going into this vortex. Nature — and God — is all right there.&#8221;
The mom of three also said how she never expected to be living this sort of life. &#8220;When I was young, I&#8217;d walk home from school and see my mom in her shorts doing her gardening, and my dad would be cutting the trees and make me pick up the branches. I&#8217;d be like, &#8216;I&#8217;m never having a tree at my house,'&#8221; she said. 
After describing herself as a “garden flower nerd” now, Stefani said, “When we get to Oklahoma, we&#8217;re constantly working — and it&#8217;s a different kind of work. It&#8217;s probably what my mom was doing back in the day, and now I get it!&#8221;
She went on to discuss how she never expected to wind up with Shelton. The pair met while they were both hosting the reality competition show, “The Voice,” in 2014.
&#8220;I didn&#8217;t see any of this coming with Blake. This was just a big old &#8216;What?&#8217; It was an amazing gift to experience love like that for the first time,&#8221; she told People. &#8220;He&#8217;s changed my life &#8230; when I [started dating] Blake, that&#8217;s when I felt home, like, &#8216;Oh, this is where I&#8217;m supposed to be, with this guy.&#8221;
