A “social justice academy” run by a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/california" target="_blank" rel="noopener">California</a> school district teaches elementary school kids to disavow “whiteness” and embrace transgender ideology, lesson plans shared with The Daily Wire show.
Every summer since 2021, the New Haven Unified School District in San Francisco has trained rising 3rd-6th graders in leftist gender and racial politics during its annual &#8220;social justice academy.&#8221; Specific details about the academy’s curriculum were revealed in documents recently obtained from the school by Parents Defending Education through a public records request. 
“Scholars will define and critically think about Social Justice, identify social injustices in the community, and create opportunities for activism through writing, action, art,” <a href="https://dw-wp-production.imgix.net/2024/10/Copy-of-SJA-Proposal-Summer-2023_143fE3LTG_UM7Lks8vizgeUbDVVRlydGrWh4rPUVufU8.docx.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to a plan from 2023 for the academy, which operates in deep blue Alameda County. 
The three-week academy, which costs the district around $20,000, was formed, in part, due to an Alameda County resolution that instructs educators to “help our children understand and react to racial differences, and to teach our youth how to speak up against injustice, racism and inequality.” 
Throughout the three-week course, students are taught the full gambit of leftist positions from “womxn rights” to Black Lives Matter and transgender ideology. The course comes as <a href="https://www.usnews.com/education/k12/california/districts/new-haven-unified-100683#:~:text=Test%20Scores%20at%20New%20Haven,above%20that%20level%20for%20math." target="_blank" rel="noopener">test scores</a> show that under half of elementary students in the district are proficient in math while only half are proficient in reading. 
A <a href="https://defendinged.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Copy-of-SJA-Proposal-Summer-2023_143fE3LTG_UM7Lks8vizgeUbDVVRlydGrWh4rPUVufU8.docx.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lesson plan</a> from week one shows that the academy focuses on issues of racial and sexual identity while reading from the book “Not My Idea: A Book About Whiteness.” The book says that “whiteness is a bad deal. It always was” and that “you can be white without signing on to whiteness.” 
The students are also taught that it is “white supremacy” that the 10 richest Americans are white and that governors were 96% white based on 2016-era statistics, <a href="https://defendinged.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/NEW-HAVEN-SOCIAL-JUSTICE-ACADEMY-2024-at-PIO.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to planning materials for the academy from 2024. 
In another <a href="https://defendinged.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Hire_Fire-Bias.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">exercise</a>, students were taught about stereotypes by being forced to fire people from a list of names, before gradually learning more about them, including their sexual identities and disabilities.

In week two of the academy, students are taught about Black Lives Matter, defunding the police, and taught to compare former President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler.
The comparison between Trump and Hitler happens during a section on &#8220;dehumanizing language,&#8221; where students are shown an image of the two men with quotes. However, the quote attributed to Trump is completely fabricated. 
Trump is quoted in the image as saying “Undocumented immigrants are not human; they are animals.” While Trump has referred to violent gang members and murderers as “animals,” he never said all illegal immigrants are animals in a blanket manner.

The course also takes a pro-Palestinian bent, accusing Israel of being a colonialist power and pointing students to a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayY9DEnW8Gw&amp;feature=youtu.be">video</a> from the leftist outlet The Root called “Why Black people should care about Palestinian Liberation.”
Also during the <a href="https://defendinged.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/WEEK-2-Lessons-2023.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">second week</a>, students are taught about “defunding the police,” the history of the Black Lives Matter movement, and the “criminalization of BIPOC.” The course materials argue that school disciplinary practices create a “school-to-prison” pipeline that disproportionately impacts black students.

During week three of the social justice academy, students read from two books pushing transgender ideology. One book, “I Am Jazz,” is based on Jazz Jennings, a man who identifies as a woman. Jennings&#8217; parents moved him towards “gender-transition” at age 3, and he quickly became the star of a reality TV show that highlighted transgenderism. 
Students <a href="https://defendinged.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/LGBTQIA.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">are taught</a> that being “transgender is not a choice” and how to be an “LGBTQIA+ Ally.” Course materials list “transgender rights” as things like “access to medical care” and “all gender bathrooms.” 
Students are also taught about a Florida law that prohibited discussion of gender identity and sexual orientation for young children in classrooms. The legislation was derisively referred to as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill by the Left. 
New Haven Unified School District did not respond to requests for comment.
Erika Sanzi, the director of outreach for Parents Defending Education, said that the academy should be shut down. 
&#8220;This summer program should have been advertised as an indoctrination camp where ideologues who spell the word &#8216;women&#8217; with an x feed students propaganda about defunding the police, transgenderism, and oppression,” she told The Daily Wire. “At the same time that they lie to kids about book bans, the curriculum includes a children&#8217;s book that calls whiteness bad and equates it with the devil.”

It was just a few months ago that police in Chicago attempted to pull over a man named Dexter Reed for driving with illegally tinted windows. I talked about this incident on the show at the time, when the media was trying to turn Reed into the next George Floyd. As soon as the traffic stop began, Reed began acting suspiciously. He repeatedly refused officers&#8217; commands to lower his window so they could see what was going on inside his car. Then he raised the tinted window to completely obstruct the officers&#8217; view of the inside of the vehicle. And then, within seconds, Dexter Reed <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaO3HPpewdw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">opened fire</a>.
Police officers train on footage like this all the time. There are hundreds of videos like it all over the internet. And they all tell the same story, which is this: When the police pull someone over, and that person attempts to hide what he&#8217;s doing, then the situation has just become extremely dangerous. All traffic stops involve some level of risk. But when someone rolls up a tinted window instead of complying, that risk gets exponentially higher. That&#8217;s especially true when the suspect has a criminal history. So police have no choice but to respond quickly and decisively, and potentially with force, because they&#8217;re in a life-threatening situation. Otherwise, they might get shot and killed before they can even see what&#8217;s coming.
As I said at the time, there was an attempt to portray Dexter Reed as some kind of BLM martyr. But it fell apart the moment this footage was released. Everyone understood why the officers drew their weapons. Everyone understood that Reed had put the officers in fear for their lives, even before he started shooting. The entire media-driven narrative &#8212; that Dexter Reed was an oppressed victim of police brutality &#8212; fell apart. And no one spoke of it again.

But there&#8217;s always someone waiting in the wings to claim that mantle of oppression, especially in an election year. And this week, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is going for it &#8212; even though his traffic stop, in many ways, has a lot of similarities to Dexter Reed&#8217;s. Tyreek Hill, like Dexter Reed, was pulled over for a lawful reason. In Tyreek Hill&#8217;s case, he was speeding near the Hard Rock Stadium, where the Dolphins play. That&#8217;s all caught on camera. And like Dexter Reed, Tyreek Hill also had an existing criminal record at the time of his stop, although the officers probably weren&#8217;t aware of that. In Hill&#8217;s case, that record included a prior guilty plea for serious offenses &#8212; including domestic assault and battery by strangulation.
And then, when he was pulled over, Tyreek Hill, like Dexter Reed, refused lawful orders to lower his tinted window. Instead, he started raising the window in clear defiance of the officers. Watch:

Instead of complying, Tyreek Hill rolled up a tinted window while the police were trying to talk to him. They responded aggressively to his belligerence. Then, Tyreek Hill refused to sit on the curb as instructed, saying he had just had surgery, so he can&#8217;t sit down. He can play in a professional football game a few hours later and score a touchdown, but he can&#8217;t possibly sit down. That&#8217;s just asking too much. So the officer again used some force, this time to put him on the curb. The officers also detained one of Hill&#8217;s teammates, Calais Campbell, after he approached the scene in the middle of the road. Ultimately the authorities cited Hill for reckless driving but didn&#8217;t arrest him. They also didn&#8217;t charge him for obstructing an officer, which is a misdemeanor in Florida punishable by up to a year in prison.
Speaking to reporters, Hill claimed he had “no idea” why he was placed in handcuffs. “No idea. It’s crazy. No idea. I wasn’t disrespectful because my mom didn’t raise me that way. Didn’t cuss. Did none of that. I’m still trying to figure it out… Don’t be disrespectful.”
Of course, the truth is that Hill could have avoided all of this by acting like an adult rather than a spoiled toddler. He knows that. Everyone watching the video knows that. But the media and the Left are pretending otherwise. They&#8217;re completely ignoring the evidence and running with the same narrative we&#8217;ve seen a million times before, even if the facts don&#8217;t remotely fit. Over on ESPN for example, they&#8217;re acting as if Tyreek Hill was just killed. They&#8217;re mourning him as if he died, by comparing him to a bunch of other BLM martyrs. Watch:

Just to be clear about this: Sandra Bland, Walter Scott, and Philando Castile are all dead. That&#8217;s not to relitigate all of those cases &#8212; all of which the media lied about to one degree or another. It&#8217;s just a fact. This guy is comparing several dead people to Tyreek Hill, who in fact is not dead. Tyreek Hill is very much alive. He&#8217;s still earning $30 million a year. He&#8217;s still a famous celebrity. What happened to Hill is that on Sunday, he endured a minor inconvenience that was entirely attributable to his own actions. This was such a minor inconvenience that he was able to play in a football game afterwards and mock the whole situation with a celebration after he scored a touchdown.
All of this fake hysteria is intended to obscure an obvious point, which is that Hill &#8212; like so many other BLM heroes &#8212; didn&#8217;t comply with lawful orders that were given by police officers. He put them in a dangerous situation as a result. And he suffered the predictable consequences of that decision. When the outraged ESPN personality says he&#8217;s &#8220;frustrated&#8221; that the country hasn&#8217;t &#8220;reckoned with race,&#8221; what he&#8217;s really saying is that black people should be able to do whatever they want when the police pull them over. They should be able to put the police in danger, apparently. Or maybe that&#8217;s only the case if they&#8217;re driving expensive cars, like Tyreek Hill was. Maybe the law just doesn&#8217;t apply to football players.
That&#8217;s the position of Tyreek Hill&#8217;s team, the Miami Dolphins. In a statement, the team said they &#8220;urge&#8221; the police department &#8220;to take swift and strong action against the officers who engaged in such despicable behavior.&#8221; The team didn&#8217;t even mention Tyreek Hill&#8217;s decision to put people in danger by driving recklessly on the way to the stadium. They didn&#8217;t mention that he disobeyed the officers&#8217; commands. They pretend as if the officers had no reason whatsoever to treat Hill like a potential threat to their lives. This is the lose-lose situation that cops are in. They&#8217;re being told that they have to ignore suspects who roll up their tinted windows, and just hope that it doesn&#8217;t turn out to be another Dexter Reed situation. If they do anything to protect themselves, those cops are “despicable.&#8221;
Meanwhile, the brain trust of former athletes over on FS1 took the melodrama up ten more notches. Here’s former NFL star LeSean McCoy in a conversation with former NFL player Emmanuel Acho. These are some of the most oppressed people in America. They were paid millions to play a game. Now they’re paid millions to talk about playing a game. But that doesn’t make them any less oppressed. Oh is that what you tell your kids? You tell them if the cops are there, get to some light? Have you considered telling them to comply with lawful commands? Have you thought about that? Why don’t you tell your kids to simply comply with lawful orders given by officers of the law? If they do that, then everything will be fine.
We’re told that black men are afraid of the cops. They’re terrified that they’re going to be executed on the spot. Tyreek Hill was afraid, allegedly. Well if that’s the case, why are you going out of your way to antagonize them? Why are you doing everything in your power to make your interactions with the police as stressful and contentious as possible? When I see videos like the one with Tyreek Hill — or any of the footage of any BLM martyr — I do not see black men who are afraid of the cops. I see black men who completely disregard the cops and act as though they are above the law and impervious to the basic rules and standards of conduct that govern the rest of us. If you’re afraid for your life while dealing with the cops, why would you roll up a tinted window? How is that going to make you safer? How is that going to make the situation LESS volatile? You are making it more volatile. You are directly, actively, making it into a more volatile situation.
But this does not occur to these kind of commentators. We can’t blame them for that. They’re emotional. In fact, these guys were so emotional that when they came back from commercial break, they were still comforting each other:

What brave warriors. What heroes. My God. They had to overcome the trauma of talking about a football player’s briefly unpleasant interaction with the police. They somehow had to soldier through and find a way to keep talking about football. It’s painful, you see. It’s painful to think about the minor inconvenience that a millionaire football player experienced. A minor inconvenience of his own making. They are shaken up. They are barely able to hold it together.
For his part, the head coach of the Miami Dolphins, Mike McDaniel, was even more hysterical than the sports commentators. He appeared to be choking back tears as he said he couldn&#8217;t imagine what it&#8217;s like to be as oppressed as Tyreek Hill is. Watch:

Fifty years ago a guy this weepy and emasculated would never be the head coach of a football team. It just wouldn&#8217;t have been possible for a theater kid to get a job like this. But here we are. Mike McDaniel is &#8220;triggered.&#8221; It really messes him up, to not know &#8220;what it feels like&#8221; to be Tyreek Hill. He&#8217;ll never be able to experience that level of oppression.
But the coach could find out pretty easily. He could start driving his sports car, as recklessly as possible, around slow-moving traffic. And when he gets pulled over, he can roll up his tinted windows and dare the cops to do something about it. Very quickly, Mike McDaniel will experience something similar to what Tyreek Hill experienced on Sunday. And if that happens, Mike McDaniel would deserve to be forcibly removed from his car and treated like a threat, just like Tyreek Hill was.
Predictably, no one in the corporate press wants to point this out. Instead, they&#8217;re affirming Tyreek Hill&#8217;s story of racial grievance at every opportunity. Here&#8217;s CNN for example. Watch as they allow Tyreek Hill to claim &#8212; without any pushback &#8212; that, if he weren&#8217;t a football player, the police officers would have executed him on the side of the road. Watch:

Try to follow the logic here. According to Hill, the police knew he was a famous NFL player, with a very high profile. So they knew they had to be on their best behavior. That&#8217;s why they decided not to just shoot him outside the stadium. That&#8217;s what the police supposedly do to every other black person, but they don&#8217;t do it to NFL players. At the same time, according to Tyreek Hill, these same police officers didn&#8217;t have any problem risking their entire career just to rough him up on camera for no reason. So they&#8217;re cautious police officers, but they&#8217;re also extremely reckless at the same time.

That&#8217;s the explanation that flies on CNN, apparently. But it doesn&#8217;t make any sense. What makes more sense is that the police did exactly what they were trained to do, which is to treat everyone who behaves like Hill did &#8212; regardless of how much money they have &#8212; as a potential threat. That&#8217;s especially true when, like Dexter Reed, they have a criminal record and start rolling up their tinted window instead of complying.
The only way to explain the reaction from the corporate press, and the Miami Dolphins, is that these people really believe that a black man should be able to do or say literally anything he wants when confronted by police. Whatever happens will always be the cop’s fault, no matter what. The point is to absolve “people of color” of any blame.
But the effect is that they’re infantilized. They&#8217;re treated like children incapable of controlling themselves. They&#8217;re given no incentive to improve their own behavior. Instead, they&#8217;re given more incentive to act like Tyreek Hill &#8212; with all the entitlement and hysteria that entails. We saw where that approach leads in 2020. It leads to police pulling out of black neighborhoods, and fewer people choosing to become police officers. And that, in turn, leads to a lot more black people dying. Narcissists like Tyreek Hill claim they&#8217;re afraid of that outcome. In reality, they&#8217;re doing everything they can to ensure it keeps happening.

After a young man of Rwandan descent knifed to death three young girls, ages 6,8, and 9, in Southport, England, on July 29, and anti-immigration demonstrations were mounted from Liverpool, England, to Belfast, Ireland, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/u-k" target="_blank" rel="noopener">British</a> Prime Minister Keir Starmer of the left-wing Labour Party condemned the protesters, calling the actions “far-right thuggery we have seen this weekend.”
The <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/08/01/southport-suspect-named-axel-rudakubana/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">suspect</a> arrested in the brutal murders lives in Banks, Lancashire; he was born to Rwandan parents in Cardiff, Wales. Eight other children were stabbed, as well as the teacher who tried to protect them; five of the children were left in critical condition.
“Be in no doubt: Those who have participated in this violence will face the full force of the law,” Starmer said. “I guarantee you will regret taking part in this disorder, whether directly or those whipping up this action online and then running away themselves. The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/black-lives-matter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Black Lives Matter</a> Organization has rejected the apparent anointment of Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic presidential nominee.
In a tweet, the organization first listed the series of events leading up to the likely nomination of Harris, then proceeded to harshly criticize the route the Democratic Party had taken to ensure her nomination, deciding to nominate her although she had won no delegates in the primaries.
“A 24-hour process of talking to party bosses is not democratic, nor is it a process Democrats should be proud of,” BLM tweeted. “We do not live in a dictatorship. Delegates are not oligarchs. Installing Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee and an unknown vice president without any public voting process would make the modern Democratic Party a party of hypocrites. We call on the @DNC to create a process that allows for public participation in the nomination process, not just a nomination by party delegates.”

In September 2020, as Black Lives Matter riots raged through the nation, Harris <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/kamala-harris-blm-protests-louisville" target="_blank" rel="noopener">praised</a> the &#8220;brilliance&#8221; of the group, declaring, &#8220;I always am going to interpret these protests as an essential component of evolution in our country.&#8221;
The call for a democratic process would seem to conflict with the perspective purveyed by at least two of the three chief founders of BLM, Alicia Garza and Patrisse Cullors, who have professed fealty to Marxism. Tyson Foods, the U.S.-based meat supplier that&#8217;s grown to be one of the world&#8217;s largest companies, offered shirts to employees for its annual Juneteenth celebrations that literally cross out &#8220;July 4&#8221; as the nation&#8217;s Independence Day.
Emails obtained by The Daily Wire show the poultry industry giant selling shirts for its annual Juneteenth celebration that say the holiday, marking the day in 1865 that African Americans in Texas learned that slavery had been abolished in the United States, is the nation&#8217;s true independence day.
&#8220;Juneteenth is my Independence Day,&#8221; reads one shirt offered, while another, under a crossed out July 4 date, states, &#8220;Juneteenth 1865 because my ancestors weren&#8217;t free in 1776.&#8221; Many of the shirts also incorporate the black power fist.
After The Daily Wire inquired about the shirts offered for the celebration, a source inside Tyson Foods says their Virginia office was ordered to cancel the sale and refund any employee who purchased a shirt. Days later, a spokesman for Tyson said it was &#8220;unaware of the t-shirt designs.&#8221;

&#8220;Tyson Foods was unaware of the t-shirt designs proposed by a team member,&#8221; the spokesman said. &#8220;Upon review, it was determined that the t-shirts do not meet the company&#8217;s dress code policy, and they will not be sold or distributed.&#8221;
It is unclear how the shirts violate the dress code policy. The company did not respond to follow-up questions.
The Arkansas-based corporation has faced criticism for years for embracing far-left politics. It <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/tyson-foods-hiring-illegal-migrants-in-new-york-wants-more-theyre-very-very-loyal">openly declared</a> earlier this year that it wanted to hire as many illegal migrants as it could, even as it shut down a plant that employed over 1,000 people in Iowa, stating that illegal workers were &#8220;very, very loyal.&#8221;
Its website features a &#8220;<a href="https://www.tysonfoods.com/who-we-are/our-people/inclusion-diversity">Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion</a>&#8221; tab that highlights the existence of multiple internal identity groups, including ones for &#8220;Latinx&#8221; employees and another &#8220;Pride&#8221; group.

Numerous employees complained internally about the shirts offered for Juneteenth, which was made a national holiday by President Joe Biden in 2021. The shirts, according to the order form supplied to employees, were set to be created by a local vendor called Make It Happen Customz LLC.
The holiday, long celebrated locally in Texas, garnered nationwide attention as Black Lives Matter staged protests across the country in 2020 that were embraced by corporate America. Liberal commentators argued in 2020 that July 4 shouldn&#8217;t be celebrated because black Americans weren&#8217;t independent.
&#8220;Juneteenth — not the Fourth of July — was the real Independence Day,&#8221; wrote one author, further arguing that &#8220;it is difficult to take pride in being American&#8221; on July 4 because of the &#8220;intolerance and oppression&#8221; still present in society.

Tyson Sells Employees Juneteenth Shirts That Strike Out ‘July 4’ As Independence Day

An internal memo from the 24 Hour Fitness Center labels <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/black-lives-matter">Black Lives Matter</a> and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/pride">Pride</a> Symbols “freedom of expression” has drawn backlash over concerns the gym would be limiting display of the American flag. 
In the letter obtained by <a href="https://x.com/libsoftiktok/status/1800516615970365573/photo/1">Libs Of TikTok</a>, it informs employees that the fitness company is committed to “creating a more inclusive environment” before it details what is and is not allowed.
The memo said it encourages employees to “bring their full selves to work everyday” and then lists that “team members” can wear apparel that shows their “solidarity and support” for the following movements.

In a statement to Newsweek, 24 Hour Fitness said that it would encourage all employees to wear American flag pins any day of the year.
&#8220;Currently and historically, 24 Hour Fitness&#8217; policy regarding staff expression has allowed and encouraged wearing symbols like American flag pins any day of the year, including prominent national holidays like Memorial Day, Flag Day, July 4th, and Veterans Day,&#8221; a spokesman <a href="https://www.newsweek.com/24-hour-fitness-american-flag-boycott-conservatives-1911978#:~:text=However%2C%20in%20a%20statement%20to,holidays%20like%20Memorial%20Day%2C%20Flag" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> Newsweek.
Last year, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/target">Target</a> faced a massive backlash when it put its June “Pride” merchandise like “tuck-friendly” female swimsuits front and center in the store.  This year the retail store has decided it will tamp back the LGBTQ push after it faced boycotts and sinking sales. 
The retailer <a href="https://apnews.com/article/target-lgbtq-pride-667ab2f6545645f5f86ca76394e531d6">told</a> the Associated Press that only a limited number of its stores would be carrying special LGBT-themed merchandise in June. The store said the merchandise would only be available in select markets, based on “guest insights and consumer research.”
Despite the pullback, the store said that it still maintained that it fully supported the LGBT movement. 
“Target is committed to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community during Pride Month and year-round,” Target said. “Most importantly, we want to create a welcoming and supportive environment for our LGBTQIA+ team members, which reflects our culture of care for the over 400,000 people who work at Target.”
Last year, merchandise that was part of the store’s Pride collection, like “extra crotch coverage” female swimsuits and Pride-themed onesies, spurred calls for boycotts of Target, leading to declining sales and stock prices. Its <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/target-sales-sink-after-pride-backlash">sales plummeted</a> during the second quarter, after the backlash started, and fell for the first time in six years, falling 5.4% compared to the same period last year. Online sales fell nearly twice as much, 10.5%, Target said.

Texas Governor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/greg-abbott" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Greg Abbott</a> granted a full pardon on Thursday to a man who was convicted in a Democrat county of killing a Black Lives Matter protester who approached his vehicle while armed with an AK-47.
Daniel Perry, a 35-year-old U.S. Army sergeant, had been sentenced to 25 years in prison after he was convicted in Travis County on a murder charge from the incident.
Perry insisted that he acted in self-defense during the incident and immediately called 911 and turned himself in to law enforcement.
&#8220;The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles conducted an exhaustive review of U.S. Army Sergeant Daniel Perry’s personal history and the facts surrounding the July 2020 incident and recommended a Full Pardon and Restoration of Full Civil Rights of Citizenship,&#8221; Abbott said in a statement. &#8220;Among the voluminous files reviewed by the Board, they considered information provided by the Travis County District Attorney, the full investigative report on Daniel Perry, plus a review of all the testimony provided at trial.&#8221;
&#8220;Texas has one of the strongest ‘Stand Your Ground’ laws of self-defense that cannot be nullified by a jury or a progressive District Attorney,&#8221; Abbott continued. &#8220;I thank the Board for its thorough investigation, and I approve their pardon recommendation.&#8221;
David Fugitt, the lead investigating detective in the case, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/daniel-perrys-legal-team-files-motion-for-new-trial" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> in an affidavit that District Attorney Jose Garza, whose campaign was backed by billionaire Democrat megadonor George Soros, acted with “criminal behavior” in the case.
“I had several conversations with the District Attorney’s Office regarding the presentation of exculpatory evidence related to Daniel Perry,” Fugitt said. “It became clear to me that the District Attorney’s Office did not want to present evidence to the grand jury that would be exculpatory to Daniel Perry.”

“On more than one occasion I was directed by the Travis County Attorney’s Office to remove exculpatory information that I had intended to present to the grand jury during my testimony,” he said. “Of my original 158 slide powerpoint presentation, the presentation was reduced to 56 slides with almost all of the exculpatory evidence ordered removed. I felt like I did not have any other options but to comply with their orders.”
Fugitt said that Garza’s directive to forbid exculpatory evidence from being shown during the case “is when the conduct of the District Attorney’s Office [went] from highly unethical behavior to criminal behavior.”

We never quite know who the Biden administration is going to host at an event, but this year, Kamala Harris invited students from HBCU schools to the White House for a day of HBCU Triumph. At this “black excellence event,” the White House welcomed people they think embody black excellence. Apparently, they are of the belief that <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/episode/this-is-trash-who-is-pushing-this-on-black-culture-member-exclusive" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sexyy Red</a> is one of those people since they played her song “SkeeYee” during the event for all the guests.
But is it black excellence to gather a number of students from HBCU schools and basically cater to them to let them know that you know the kind of music they listen to by playing Sexyy Red? Is that actually black excellence? Or, is that government excellence? I believe it is the latter. This is a prime example of the government playing an almost perfect hand when it comes to black America, as it has destroyed our families over the last half century.
Black Americans were outpacing white Americans in the 1950s under Jim Crow in terms of economic growth, and then, the government got involved. Lyndon B. Johnson passed the Civil Rights Act — even though he was an avowed racist — because he was forced to. With all the unrest and rioting that was going on in the nation following the assassination of John F. Kennedy, he had to sign the Civil Rights Act to calm America. Then, as soon as the Act was signed, he implemented the welfare system with the Great Society Act, saying he knew he would have black Americans voting Democrat for the next 200 years. He has basically been right.
Black Americans continue to think Democrats are their friends and saviors, as witnessed by their visit to the White House when they put on music — trash music — that is the intentional disintegration of the black soul. They are convincing black Americans that this is their culture, when, actually, it is the corrosion of black culture. In today’s society, Sexyy Red is “success” for Democrats — with all the twerking that comes with that music. Just a short time ago, we were listening to bands like The Temptations and singers like Lauryn Hill. Perhaps there is an operation spinning in Hollywood from the people who brought us gangster rap and this sort of trash.

It’s no secret that some black Americans don’t like me because I talk about these issues. However, I want to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/are-you-black-pilled" target="_blank" rel="noopener">make black Americans aware</a> of the fact that we have been targeted <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/mass-psychosis-how-villains-become-heroes-in-the-media" target="_blank" rel="noopener">and brainwashed</a> against our better interests. The media inevitably have much to say about anyone who has conversations with me on, basically, any matter, but especially those concerning black America.
I exposed the fraudulence surrounding the George Floyd case in my documentary “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/videos/the-greatest-lie-ever-sold" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Greatest Lie Ever Sold</a>.” But black Americans said, “How dare you?” Yes, how dare I <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/i-am-sick-and-tired-of-media-deception" target="_blank" rel="noopener">expose</a> that Black Lives Matter not only used George Floyd’s unfortunate death to steal millions of dollars, but also laundered those dollars to organizations that have absolutely nothing to do with black America. How dare I expose that BLM convinced black Americans to riot and loot their own communities so that business leaders would be forced to move out. And they weren’t the only ones who were forced out.
Thanks to BLM efforts, police were forced out of neighborhoods and locations where looting was occurring, so, obviously, no one wanted to live in those neighborhoods. Why would anyone volunteer to live in an unsafe neighborhood or set up a business in a looting zone? This then caused black people in these communities to end up even more impoverished in those circumstances. So, I refuse to kowtow to the Democratic world order that has effectively destroyed black Americans.
I refused to cover up the fact that George Floyd died with enough fentanyl in his system to kill a horse, nor was I willing to act as though the full video of Floyd’s arrest showed that Floyd complied with police — when he did not. Floyd was safely put in the back of a cruiser, proclaimed he could not breathe while he was sitting in the backseat, and then asked to be put on the ground. An elementary school in the nation’s capital held a spirit week encouraging young students to show up to school wearing colors inspired by Black Lives Matter and the ‘Pride’ flag, according to materials obtained by The Daily Wire.
For the first week of Black History Month, Seaton Elementary School in Washington, D.C., held a “Black Lives Matter at School!” spirit week that urged students to focus on race and sexual identity.
Students were encouraged to wear red to represent “the blood that unites people of Black African ancestry.” On Tuesday, they were told to wear black to represent “members of the black community,” and on Wednesday to wear green to represent “the abundant natural wealth of the continent of Africa.” Students were told on Thursday to “wear colors inspired by the Inclusive Rainbow Flag,” showing an image of the &#8220;Pride&#8221; flag with designation for those who identify as transgender. On Friday, students were told to “wear logos inspired by BLM or historical black colleges and universities.”

Schools across the country have been criticized by parents for emphasizing identity politics while educational achievement lags. A school in the San Francisco area paid $250,000 to an organization called “Woke Kindergarten” to train teachers about racism and develop curriculums. Despite the money spent on the program, math and reading scores at the school have continued to decline, the San Francisco Chronicle <a href="https://www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/article/woke-kindergarten-glassbrook-hayward-18635504.php" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. 
While Seaton has a history of emphasizing diversity and equity, less than half of the students meet either reading or math expectations in the most recent school year, <a href="https://profiles.dcps.dc.gov/Seaton+Elementary+School" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to District data. 
Located in D.C.’s Shaw neighborhood, the school has about 353 students in kindergarten through fifth grade, most of whom are black or Latino. Only 39% of students at Seaton met math expectations and just 33% met English expectations in the 2022-2023 school year. 
The revelation of the spirit week comes as no surprise as the school’s <a href="https://archive.ph/PRLX1">website</a> makes it clear that it focuses heavily on racial, ethnic, and sexual identity. Seaton’s website has a whole section devoted to “Diversity and Equity @ Seaton.” 
The section features a quote from Learning for Justice, an <a href="https://www.learningforjustice.org/about">initiative</a> of the leftist Southern Poverty Law Center, that says: “All oppression — including that of LGBT individuals, refugees, immigrants, Muslims, women, people living in poverty and people with disabilities — negatively affects all lives.”
The school says that it holds a “Black Lives Matter” week every year organized by the BLM at Seaton “to promote the significance [of] the BLM movement and Black History” and to “celebrate black excellence locally (in the DMV area) and throughout history (past, present, and future).”
Last year, Seaton<a href="https://seatondc.org/2023/02/06/black-lives-matter-seaton-february-6th-10th/"> listed</a> guiding principles for “BLM @ School” week, including “unapologetically black,” “diversity,” “black families,” “black villages,” “restorative justice,” “black women,” “queer affirming,” “transgender affirming,” and “globalism.”
For the “unapologetically black” principle, which was listed as applicable to all students, the school said that it was part of the “Black Lives Matter movement.” For “black women,” the guidelines say that “there are some people who think that women are less important than men” and that “all people are important and have a right to be safe and talk about their feelings.” 
&#8220;Queer affirming&#8221; means that “everybody has a right to choose who they love and the kind of family they want by listening to their own heart and mind.” The principle of “transgender affirming&#8221; means that “everybody has the right to choose their own gender by listening to their own heart and mind. Everyone gets to choose if they are a girl or a boy or both or neither or something else, and no one else gets to choose for them.”
Finally, “globalism” means “that we are thinking about all the different people all over the world, and thinking about ways to keep things fair everywhere.”

The school recommends teachers read politically charged books to their students, including reading “Julian is a Mermaid,” a book that appears to allude to transgenderism, and “When We Say Black Lives Matter&#8221; to those in pre-K or younger. 
Kindergarteners are recommended similar books, including “Calvin,” a story about a young girl who identifies as a boy. “Calvin has always been a boy, even if the world sees him as a girl. He knows who he is in his heart and in his mind but he hasn&#8217;t yet told his family,” the book’s <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Calvin-JR-Ford/dp/0593108671" target="_blank" rel="noopener">description</a> says. 
Teachers are also pointed to give students Black Lives Matter coloring books and teach them Black American Sign Language. 
Seaton previously worked with the leftist Human Rights Campaign on an anti-bullying program that provided “LGBTQ-specific training and resources for elementary teachers.” The HRC has <a href="https://www.hrc.org/resources/attacks-on-gender-affirming-care-by-state-map" target="_blank" rel="noopener">attacked</a> states that have banned doctors and medical providers from performing transgender procedures on children. 
Later this month, the school is <a href="https://seatondc.org/2024/01/22/january-22nd-family-newsletter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">bringing</a> in an organization called SMYAL to teach families how they “can help make our school community even more welcoming for all students, including those who identify as LGBTQ+.”
SMYAL <a href="https://smyal.org/littlesmyals/">says</a> it&#8217;s for “LGBTQ youth ages 6-12 to find a safe(r) space to hang out and meet new people, access resources, and gain support.” The D.C.-based organization puts on programs at schools that “play games, read books, make arts and crafts, learn about the LGBTQ community and its history, and celebrate being wonderfully, uniquely ourselves!”
In June 2023, representatives from the HRC and D.C. Public Schools Supervisor Lewis Ferebee <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CtwY17JuSUe/?img_index=2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">showed</a> up to Seaton to present it with an award for being “one of only 25 schools in the country to be recognized for creating and nurturing an inclusive school community.”
“We believe that it crucial for our students to understand their identities and the world around them,” Seaton <a href="https://seatondc.org/diversity-and-equity-seaton/">states</a>. “Understanding Equity and Diversity is a crucial piece in helping our students grow into scholars. To learn more please click on the different pages below.”
Like many schools in the D.C. area, Seaton <a href="https://seatondc.org/2021/01/28/pto-news-reopen-strong-at-seaton/?fbclid=IwAR0iF5msvJCvVpKV2ib6-YoSHdh_9e0HNDpT4JuI_wmY4MGGajjvnTc7RXE">remained</a> closed for months during the COVID pandemic and did not open for in-person instruction until early 2021. 
Seaton&#8217;s principal Veronica Torres did not respond to a request for comment.

A former FBI informant who is one of Derek Chauvin’s fellow inmates was charged by federal prosecutors Friday with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing Chauvin in the name of Black Lives Matter. 
Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer sentenced to 20 years in prison in the highly controversial George Floyd case, was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/derek-chauvin-stabbed-in-prison-life-saving-measures-administered-report">stabbed</a> 22 times at a Tuscon, Arizona, penitentiary library last Friday, requiring prison staff to perform “life-saving” measures on Chauvin. John Turscak, 52, now faces multiple assault charges and inflicting serious bodily injury with an &#8220;improvised knife,&#8221; Fox News <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/arizona-inmate-charged-attempted-murder-derek-chauvin-stabbing">reported</a>. 
Turscak allegedly told investigators that he had planned the attack for a month and purposefully chose Black Friday as the date for his assault on Chauvin to symbolize the Black Lives Matter movement. The 52-year-old inmate also allegedly said he would’ve killed the ex-Minneapolis cop if corrections officers hadn’t intervened so quickly. 
Turscak was sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2001 for committing crimes while working as an FBI informant, according to <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/minnesota/news/who-is-john-turscak-man-accused-of-stabbing-derek-chauvin-22-times/">CBS News</a>. The feds recruited Turscak in 1999 to help them go after members of the Mexican Mafia, which Turscak had admitted to joining in 1990. The FBI informant said he authorized &#8220;assaults of individuals for infractions of Mexican Mafia rules” and collected “taxes” from other gangs and drug dealers who wanted protection from the Mexican Mafia as they trafficked narcotics. 
According to court documents, Turscak also admitted to murdering a man in 1990 while he was in Folsom Prison and authorized another man’s murder in 1998. Turscak was scheduled for release in 2026, according to the Bureau of Prisons, but he could now face an additional 60 years if he’s sentenced to the maximum punishment from all the new charges. 
Following the attack, Chauvin’s attorney, Gregory M. Erickson, and his mother Carolyn Pawlenty were frustrated with the lack of information authorities were providing them about the stabbing and Chauvin’s condition. Pawlenty said authorities told her they did not contact her sooner because they “didn’t want to give her false information and had to get the situation under control.”

Erickson blasted the Bureau of Prisons in a statement following the attack, claiming the law enforcement agency has provided no updates on Chauvin’s condition or current location. Three days after Chauvin was stabbed, his mother was updated by federal authorities about his condition, confirming that Chauvin was in stable condition in a medical facility and “has protection.”

Eight police officers involved in the fatal shooting of Jayland Walker in Ohio last year were reportedly cleared of all charges on Tuesday, according to an internal investigation from the Akron Police Department.
&#8220;In my opinion, the use of deadly force was in compliance with the policies of the City of Akron Police Department,&#8221; Chief Steve Mylett <a href="https://ewscripps.brightspotcdn.com/b7/2e/35504f39473cac3e68312dcba3fc/executive-summary-11-28-23.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> in an executive summary of the investigation.
Police <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/we-cannot-and-will-not-tolerate-violence-or-the-destruction-of-property-akron-officials-declare-state-of-emergency-following-riots-over-death-of-jayland-walker" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shot and killed Walker</a> on June 27, 2022, after pursuing him in a car that had been involved in a crime the previous day. After refusing to stop, speeding through a residential neighborhood, and shooting at officers, Walker jumped out of the car in motion at a barricade and fled the scene on foot.
Although he did not have the gun with him as he ran, Mylett said the video showed Walker reaching for something at his waist and turning as he ran, prompting the police to fire. A state investigation later found Walker had fired a gun out of his car window while attempting to escape.
Police said they fired up to 60 bullets at Walker after he jumped out of the moving vehicle and shot at the officers. The Beacon Journal obtained an investigative worksheet from the medical examiner&#8217;s office, which reported officers shot Walker in the face, torso, and upper legs.
The report and video from the crime scene confirmed that Walker had a handgun in his silver Buick. The Akron Fraternal Order of Police said in a statement that traffic cameras had captured a muzzle flash from Walker&#8217;s car and that a shell casing had been found at the same location.
&#8220;I found that the facts and circumstances of this tragic shooting show that the officers had an objectively reasonable belief that Mr. Walker was armed and by his conduct presented an imminent risk of serious bodily injury or death to them and/or their fellow officers,&#8221; Mylett said.
The eight police officers were reportedly placed on administrative leave but later returned to regular duty, according to <a href="https://www.beaconjournal.com/story/news/2023/06/16/jayland-walkers-family-suing-akron-8-officers-over-fatal-shooting/70330379007/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Akron Beacon Journal</a>.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation conducted a criminal investigation into the shooting at the request of Mylett. The bureau reportedly presented its investigation to a special grand jury, which declined to indict the officers for any criminal offenses.
Akron city officials declined to comment further on the internal investigation, pointing to a pending federal lawsuit filed by Walker&#8217;s family. The family is suing the city for at least $45 million in damages — a million dollars per each bullet that struck Walker, the family reportedly stated.
According to <a href="https://www.beaconjournal.com/story/news/2023/06/16/jayland-walkers-family-suing-akron-8-officers-over-fatal-shooting/70330379007/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">local media</a>, the lawsuit alleges excessive force, supervisory liability, and municipal liability and claims that Walker&#8217;s constitutional rights were violated.
In addition to seeking compensatory and punitive damages, attorney fees, and costs, the lawsuit also seeks &#8220;equitable relief, including, without limitation, that defendant city of Akron be made to adopt an appropriate policy to prevent future instances of the type of misconduct.&#8221;
Bobby DiCello, the Walker family&#8217;s attorney, released the following statement about the department&#8217;s conclusion of the investigation, according to local media.
“Everyone should be encouraged to read what the Chief of Police wrote. He said Jayland’s shooting ‘was in compliance with the policies of the Akron Police Department.’ That says it all,&#8221;  DiCello <a href="https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/local-news/akron-canton-news/jayland-walker/akron-police-department-concludes-internal-investigation-into-jayland-walkers-fatal-shooting" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>. &#8220;While not unexpected, it is exactly this position that makes it critical for us to continue the lawsuit on behalf of Jayland Walker’s family. The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/coca-cola" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Coca-Cola Company</a> quietly removed a mention on its website about donations to Black Lives Matter after the activist group came out in support of the Palestinian terror group Hamas.
The soft drink giant recently deleted a sentence referencing donations to Black Lives Matter by Sprite, which is sold by Coca-Cola.
&#8220;The brand also donated $500,000 to the Black Lives Matter Global Network to support the group’s voting education efforts and their February 2021 Black Future Month program to empower the next generation of Black youths,&#8221; reads the deleted sentence.
The sentence <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20230610012719/https://www.coca-colacompany.com/social/diversity-and-inclusion/taking-a-stand" target="_blank" rel="noopener">appears</a> in an archived version of Coca-Cola&#8217;s &#8220;Taking A Stand&#8221; website page from June. Coca-Cola&#8217;s move comes after several Black Lives Matter chapters posted in support of Palestinians, some appearing to support Hamas itself.
Black Lives Matter Chicago <a href="https://nypost.com/2023/10/10/blm-chicago-under-fire-for-pro-palestine-post-featuring-paragliding-terrorist/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">posted</a> on X an image of a paraglider with a Palestinian flag along with the words &#8220;I stand with Palestine.&#8221;
Hamas used paragliders to enter Israeli communities before slaughtering hundreds of civilians and taking them hostage.
“That is all that is it!” Black Lives Matter Chicago added in its post. That X post has since been deleted.
Black Lives Matter Chicago also posted a cartoon showing a person saying, “This isn’t about Hamas — this is about Palestinians right to resist 75 years of Israeli settlers colonizing their native land.”
Black Lives Matter Los Angeles posted on Instagram that the Palestinians people&#8217;s &#8220;resistance must not be condemned.&#8221;
&#8220;As the world is faced with deep questions about self-determination, as we all desire and pray for a world of peace, we must stand unwaveringly on the side of the oppressed. When a people have been subject to decades of apartheid and unimaginable violence, their resistance must not be condemned, but understood as a desperate act of self-defense.&#8221;
Black Lives Matter Los Angeles has not deleted their post.
