Well, last week we talked about the Oscars, and this week, it’s the Grammys. And I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking, “Please, God, kill me now, before I have to hear about the Grammys. Otherwise, I’ll be forced to drown this out by sticking my fingers in my ears and whistling Dixie, which may give people the impression that I support the Confederacy when, in fact, I think holding your fellow human beings in bondage, branding and flogging them before selling their families is a horrible thing, and if I were forced to choose between life as a slave and watching the Grammys, I would pretend to think about it, then suddenly break my chains and escape through the alligator-infested swamps of Mississippi, never to return to slavery until the award show was over.”
Okay, maybe that’s not exactly what you’re thinking. I mean, only a degenerate would think something like that. Even just saying it out loud is morally disgusting, though obviously not as bad as the Grammys.
But this year, the Grammy award show was not just the usual self-celebration of a collection of semi-talented drug addicts who set disgustingly explicit words to simplistic and atonal music. This year we got to hear what these addicts think about politics. How great is that?
For instance, Billie Eilish, who won “Best Performance by a Dumpy Person with a Weirdly Skewed Face who Sings as if Even She Doesn’t Want to Hear her Crappy Music,” denounced ICE agents’ arrest of illegal migrants, by saying, “No one is illegal on stolen land.”
In response, the native American Fugawe tribe requested Eilish return her $3 million Los Angeles mansion, since it stands on land that belongs to them. The tribe promised to repay Eilish by burning her heart as a sacrifice to the Great Spirit, after they had devoured her body in a traditional indigenous ceremony. Eilish politely refused as she ran screaming from the award show, explaining that if everyone in California gave their land back, the Native Americans would return the state to poverty, primitivism and savagery, and that’s Gavin Newsom’s job.

Bad Bunny won this year’s Grammy for Best Album by a Puerto Rican Drag Queen. Mr. Bunny immediately demanded that Federal immigration officers stop enforcing Federal Immigration law or else. ICE officers responded by crying out in agitated, high-pitched voices, “Oh no, Bad Bunny is angry at us, whatever shall we do?” then went back to work.
Now, the Super Bowl is this Sunday, and Mr. Bunny is scheduled to do the half-time show at that all-American display of manhood by wearing a dress and denigrating America. So NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was asked to comment on Bunny’s speech. Goodell said, “We at the NFL gave the half-time show to Mr. Bunny to make a strong statement, namely that we have so much money we really don’t give a rat’s ass what our audience thinks, and we will continue to mock the deeply-held beliefs of ordinary Americans while dining on lobster, caviar and champagne served on the naked backs of former Athletes, whose brain injuries have rendered them useless for anything but acting as furniture for the people who got rich off destroying them. Enjoy the show.”
Singer Kehlani won this year’s Grammy for “Most Desperate Attempt to Extend an Evanescent Fifteen Minutes of Fame by Writhing Around Virtually Naked so No One Would Notice She has no Talent.” 
Kehlani also denounced ICE, saying, “It is important for artists to speak out, because our opinions matter to the sort of brain-dead 12-year-olds who listen to this crap. I for one want to inspire the young minority men in our audience to stand up to law enforcement agents with violent and aggressive tactics, which is going to work out great for you. And when you’re in prison, we’ll have your back, or actually some muscle-bound thug in Gen Pop will probably have your back, but at least you can think about how much money we’re making for inspiring you to take action.”
Now, personally, I thought these speeches were boring, conformist, ignorant, destructive, and foul-mouthed displays of misbehavior. Or maybe that was the songs. No, it was the speeches. Or maybe the songs. Whatever.

The Native American tribe whose ancestral land includes Billie Eilish’s Los Angeles mansion has something to say about her Grammys virtue signaling, when the singer declared, &#8220;no one is illegal on stolen land.&#8221; 
“As the First People of the greater Los Angeles basin, we do understand that her home is situated in our ancestral land,” a spokesperson for the Tongva tribe <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15521241/billie-eilish-grammys-ice-speech-home-native-tribe.html">told</a> The Daily Mail, noting that the singer had not yet reached out regarding the ownership rights of her $3 million Hollywood Hills home.
“Eilish has not contacted our tribe directly regarding her property… we do value the instance when public figures provide visibility to the true history of this country,” the spokesperson went on. “It is our hope that in future discussions, the tribe can explicitly be referenced to ensure the public understands that the greater Los Angeles Basin remains Gabrieleno Tongva territory.” 
The 24-year-old singer has been mocked and called a hypocrite ever since spouting her leftist talking points during the awards show on Sunday night.
“As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything, but that no one is illegal on stolen land,” Eilish said from the stage as fellow celebrities cheered and nodded in the crowd.
“&#8217;F*ck ICE’ is what I wanna say,” she added.
Social media commenters have been pointing out the hypocrisy of Eilish’s statements.
“You cannot simultaneously believe that (1) all borders are fake and should not be policed, and (2) that land can be ‘stolen.’ This is one of the most braindead beliefs a person can hold,” one person posted on X. 
“Oh, gee, this ‘stolen land’ nonsense again? Maybe she should step up and forfeit her Southern California mansion since it is supposedly on ‘stolen land,&#8217;” Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis <a href="https://x.com/RonDeSantis/status/2018342732972843355">shared</a>.
This isn’t the first time Eilish voiced opinions that got her mocked. In November, the singer called Elon Musk a “f*cking pathetic p*ssy b*tch coward” for not giving away more of his money to her preferred causes.

The 24-year-old “Bad Guy” singer stated where she stands on trending issues while accepting the Grammy Award for Song of the Year on Sunday night.

The anti-ICE sentiment was strong at the Grammy Awards, with several celebrities showing up wearing “ICE OUT” or “BE GOOD” pins to broadcast their beliefs. Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Bieber sported the buttons, as did Billie Eilish, Kehlani, Samara Joy, Joni Mitchell, and Jack Antonoff.
Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny devoted his Grammys acceptance speech to protest ICE.
“Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say: ICE out,” the singer, whose legal name is Benito Ocasio, said from the stage during the awards ceremony Sunday night.

Grammy Award-winning singer Billie Eilish is furious with Elon Musk, accusing him of not donating to organizations claiming they can solve world hunger, among other things.
The 23-year-old recording artist reposted several infographics put out by the activist group My Voice, My Choice on her Instagram page on Thursday. The group had said Musk is the world’s first trillionaire, which is not accurate.
These images list ways Musk could use his money for charity, including donating $40 billion a year to end world hunger by 2030 and paying between $1 and $2 billion a year to bring down the endangered species status of 10,433 animals. Another suggestion was that he donate $53.2 billion to “rebuild Gaza.”
In a final slide, Eilish called Musk a “f***ing pathetic p***y b*** coward” for not giving away more of his money to her preferred causes.
This isn’t the first time Eilish lashed out at celebrities who are wealthier than she is.
“We’re in a time right now where the world is really, really bad and really dark and people need empathy and help more than kind of ever, especially in our country,” Eilish <a href="https://people.com/billie-eilish-calls-out-billionaires-in-room-with-mark-zuckerberg-11840118">said</a> during a speech at the Wall Street Journal Innovator Awards last month. “Love you all, but there’s a few people in here that have a lot more money than me. If you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire? No hate, but yeah, give your money away, shorties.”
Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg was in the crowd at the time.
The internet came after Eilish for her naive view that throwing money at a problem makes it go away. Several people brought up that in 2021, Musk <a href="https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1454808104256737289" target="_blank" rel="noopener">offered to donate</a> $6 billion to the United Nations World Food Program if it would provide him with a detailed plan for solving world hunger.
Others accused her of hypocrisy, arguing that she demanded Musk give away his wealth while retaining substantial wealth herself. Eilish became the youngest member of the Forbes World’s 100 Highest-Paid Celebrities in 2019, earning an estimated $53 million as of 2020, <a href="https://www.the-independent.com/arts-entertainment/music/news/billie-eilish-net-worth-mark-zuckerberg-billionaires-b2856568.html">per</a> The Independent.

&#8220;It’s really dangerous for young people, for that to be their introduction to sex,&#8221; she added.
Abrams recalled reading a raunchy article in Cosmo when she was younger, which sparked her to explore things on the internet.
&#8220;I took to the internet for answers, which is frightening to think about now,&#8221; she said. &#8220;Young people need to learn about sex from a reputable resource like Cosmo or a strong mentor, not just scrolling aimlessly online like I did.&#8221;

Universal Music Group, which is in charge of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/music">songs</a> made by recording artists such as <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/taylor-swift">Taylor Swift</a>, Olivia Rodrigo, Drake, Bad Bunny, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/billie-eilish">Billie Eilish</a>, and many other major <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/music-industry">music industry</a> stars, announced that its music would be removed from TikTok unless they can come to an agreement over money.
UMG said in an <a href="https://www.universalmusic.com/an-open-letter-to-the-artist-and-songwriter-community-why-we-must-call-time-out-on-tiktok/">open letter</a> posted Wednesday that it is looking out for its artists and demands higher compensation for music used on the platform. Per <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/universal-music-group-remove-songs-tiktok-rcna136506">NBC News</a>, about 60% of TikTok videos include music.
&#8220;TikTok proposed paying our artists and songwriters at a rate that is a fraction of the rate that similarly situated major social platforms pay,&#8221; the statement said in part.
The Dutch American-owned company said, &#8220;Ultimately TikTok is trying to build a music-based business, without paying fair value for the music.&#8221; 
The letter also mentioned artificial intelligence (AI) tools employed by TikTok, which it said could have negative outcomes in addition to ushering in &#8220;a tidal wave of hate speech, bigotry, bullying and harassment.&#8221;
&#8220;As our negotiations continued, TikTok attempted to bully us into accepting a deal worth less than the previous deal, far less than fair market value and not reflective of their exponential growth,&#8221; the letter said.
UMG also accused TikTok of &#8220;selectively removing the music of certain of our developing artists&#8221; while keeping &#8220;audience-driving global stars” as a form of intimidation.

“TikTok’s tactics are obvious: use its platform power to hurt vulnerable artists and try to intimidate us into conceding to a bad deal that undervalues music and shortchanges artists and songwriters as well as their fans,” the letter said. “We will never do that. We will always fight for our artists and songwriters and stand up for the creative and commercial value of music.”
TikTok <a href="https://newsroom.tiktok.com/en-us/tiktok-statement-in-response-to-universal-music-group">responded</a> to the letter, saying it was “sad and disappointing” that UMG chose to “put their own greed above the interests of their artists and songwriters.” 
“Despite Universal’s false narrative and rhetoric, the fact is they have chosen to walk away from the powerful support of a platform with well over a billion users that serves as a free promotion and discovery vehicle for their talent.”
The response noted that TikTok was able to reach an agreement with other labels and publishers, then accused UMG of having “self-serving interests.”

&#8220;Thanks variety for my award and for also outing me on a red carpet at 11 am instead of talking about anything else that matters,&#8221; Eilish captioned her post. &#8220;I like boys and girls leave me alone about it please literally who cares.&#8221;

The 20-year-old <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/celebrities">singer</a> is in a relationship with 31-year-old Jesse Rutherford. The Instagram post seems to indicate that the couple thinks their age gap is funny, but many of Eilish’s followers weren’t very amused. “life is craaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy. happy halloween,” the caption said.

The image carousel also included photos of her carving a pumpkin, her friend Dylan Minnette in a pumpkin costume, her brother Finneas&#8217; injury, and some concert clips. The final image was of her with Rutherford wearing their baby/old man costumes.
One person replied, “honestly yikes on the last photo.” 
“That last slide is gonna haunt her in a few years when she’s older and realizes that a 31 year old has no business with someone that young,” another wrote.
“Girl wisen up, this isn’t a joke. Why isn’t he with someone his own age? Just think about it. It’s weird, not quirky,” a third shared in the comments. 
Eilish and Rutherford seemingly confirmed their relationship by posting that photo. Rumors had been swirling since they were spotted together in October and then were seen kissing outside an Indian restaurant in Los Angeles, per <a href="https://people.com/music/billie-eilish-halloween-costume-pokes-fun-at-age-gap-with-boyfriend-jesse-rutherford/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a>.   
There are <a href="https://twitter.com/jrutherfordpics/status/942934059281502208?s=20&amp;t=rd1L9Ancz29kTe5K8fsgUA">photos</a> of the pair in 2017 when Eilish was 15 and Rutherford was 26, though their romance seems relatively new.
Eilish was formerly in a relationship with rapper 7: AMP, real name Brandon Adams but who Eilish refers to as Q, who is 24. She spoke about their relationship in the 2021 Apple TV+ documentary “The World&#8217;s a Little Blurry.”
&#8220;I just wasn&#8217;t happy. I didn&#8217;t want the same things he wanted and I don&#8217;t think that&#8217;s fair for him,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I don&#8217;t think you should be in a relationship super excited about things that the other person couldn&#8217;t care less about.&#8221;
Fans were allegedly upset with how Eilish spoke about Q in the documentary and came after him on social media. The “Bad Guy” singer admonished them, telling them to “be nice.”

One of Eilish&#8217;s collaborators is her brother, Finneas, and her mom, Maggie, manages many of the details of her live shows, Page Six <a href="https://nypost.com/2022/06/21/billie-eilish-would-rather-die-than-not-have-children/?utm_medium=SocialFlow&amp;utm_campaign=SocialFlow&amp;utm_source=NYPTwitter">reported</a>.

Singer Billie Eilish spoke candidly about life with Tourette syndrome in a recent interview with David Letterman.
The 20-year-old made the comments during an appearance on “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction,” the former late-night host’s series on Netflix. The “Bad Guy” composer said she was diagnosed with the disorder at 11 and it’s been a constant challenge ever since, per <a href="https://www.nme.com/news/music/billie-eilish-opens-up-about-exhausting-tourettes-syndrome-in-new-interview-3230733">NME</a>.
“What’s funny is so many people have it that you would never know,” she said, explaining that she’s aware of several other musical artists who also have Tourette Syndrome.
Eilish told Letterman that she was happy to discuss the condition to help bring awareness. “I really love answering questions about it, because it’s very very interesting. And I am incredibly confused by it. I don’t get it,” she said.
She also mentioned how talking about her condition will hopefully help reduce other people&#8217;s negative or unintentional insulting reactions.
 “The most common way that people react is they laugh because they think I’m trying to be funny … and I’m always left incredibly offended by that,” Eilish said during the interview.
The Grammy Award-winning artist told Letterman how she had “small” tics as a young child. “For me, they’re very exhausting,” she said, clarifying that she’s since “made friends with it now.”
“If you film me for long enough, you’re gonna see lots of tics,” Eilish told Letterman.
According to <a href="https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/tourette-syndrome/symptoms-causes/syc-20350465">Mayo Clinic</a>, Tourette syndrome is a “disorder that involves repetitive movements or unwanted sounds (tics) that can&#8217;t be easily controlled,” such as repeatedly blinking, shrugging, or blurting out unusual sounds or swear words.
This isn’t the first time Eilish spoke publicly about her personal life. In an interview with Howard Stern in December, she revealed her struggle with a porn addiction since the age of 11 and how it’s negatively affected her, The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/singer-billie-eilish-reveals-shes-struggled-with-porn-addiction-since-childhood-it-really-destroyed-my-brain">reported</a>.
“As a woman, I think porn is a disgrace, and I used to watch a lot of porn, to be honest,” she told Stern. “I started watching porn when I was like 11. I didn’t understand why it was a bad thing. I thought that’s how you learned how to have sex.”
Eilish continued, saying in part, “I think it really destroyed my brain and I feel incredibly devastated that I was exposed to so much porn.”
“I think that I had sleep paralysis and these night terrors slash nightmares because of it,” she said. “I think that’s how it started because I would just watch abusive BDSM and that’s what I thought was attractive.”
