Multiple sources told the publication that Hillary Clinton’s top aide has been seeing the A-list actor for a few months now. They confirmed that the Vogue mogul made the introduction, which led to a romantic pairing.
“Anna definitely played matchmaker,” a source told Page Six. “She’s BFFs with Bradley and adores Huma.”
Another insider said the new couple was keeping a low profile for now. “Bradley has been quietly dating Huma for a few months now, [and] they’ve been keeping it really quiet,” they said. “Bradley broke up with [actress] Dianna Agron and started dating Huma.”
The source said Abedin has only shared the news with a few friends so far. That person said this match is ideal because of shared interests. 
“They are perfect for each other,” they told Page Six. “They’re both into power and politics and human affairs.”
Abedin would be moving on after going through a disastrous split from disgraced former congressman Anthony Weiner (D-NY), who was sentenced in 2017 to 21 months in prison for engaging in a sexual conversation with a minor via text.
“I had my heart broken, dragged out, stomped on, humiliated. I lived with shame, in shame, for so long,” Abedin told <a href="https://www.thecut.com/article/huma-abedin-book-profile.html">The Cut</a>. “In hindsight, I was in extreme trauma.”
“On the one hand, you have this person who’s making your life so easy,” she continued. “On the other hand, you have this person who’s doing these deeply irresponsible things, and what felt to me like very, very selfish things, and taking us down.”
In an excerpt from her memoir &#8220;Both/And: A Life In Many Words,&#8221; Abedin described learning of her ex-husband&#8217;s exploits.
&#8220;He admitted he had intended to send the picture as a direct message with someone he had befriended over Twitter, but accidentally posted it publicly and deleted it (but not before someone had screen-grabbed it), that it had been a tawdry joke, a dare, it didn’t mean anything and he was ashamed and embarrassed and sorry that he had brought this upon us,&#8221; the former aide <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/huma-abedin-says-she-contemplated-suicide-after-husband-was-caught-in-sex-scandal">recalled</a>.
&#8220;I felt something explode inside my chest, and suddenly it was hard to breathe. I was simultaneously filled with rage and stunned to my core. It felt like a bolt of lightning had struck me and run straight through my body,” she continued.
Cooper, meanwhile, was married to actress Jennifer Esposito from 2006 until 2007. He shares a 5-year-old daughter, Lea, with his ex-fiance Irina Shayk, a Russian model, and actress who he dated from 2015 until 2019. 
The actor has been romantically linked with many Hollywood stars, from Renee Zellweger to Zoe Saldana. But, for the most part, Cooper stays under the radar and doesn’t make a public spectacle of his private life.

Huma Abedin, a former top aide to Hillary Clinton, says in a new book that she considered killing herself after husband Anthony Weiner was caught in a sexting scandal, which eventually landed him in jail.
&#8220;You write that, for a brief second, you contemplated walking off the subway platform?&#8221; Norah O&#8217;Donnell of CBS Evening News asked Abedin in an interview over the weekend, <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10150559/Huma-Abedin-contemplated-suicide-Anthony-Weiners-sexting-scandal-exploded.html">according</a> to the Daily Mail.
&#8220;Well, one of the best things I&#8217;ve had in my life is my faith, and the belief that there is always a way through,&#8221; the 45-year-old Abedin said.
She also revealed that Weiner was having sex in the apartment the couple shared. &#8220;I know it’s hard for you to say it, but you found that he was having physical relationships in your apartment?&#8221; O’Donnell asked.
&#8220;Yes,&#8221; Abedin said. &#8220;It was that moment that I realized the way I had been handling my response to him was not working.&#8221;
Hawking a new book, &#8220;Both/And: A Life in Many Worlds,&#8221; Abedin said last week that she was once sexually assaulted by a U.S. senator. She said the assault occurred in the mid-2000s while she was working as an aide to then-Sen. Hillary Clinton, <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/oct/26/huma-abedin-sexual-assault-us-senator-book-memoir">according</a> to The Guardian. Abedin does not identify the senator.
&#8220;Abedin — the estranged wife of serial pervert and ex-con former New York Congressman Anthony Weiner — said the assault happened after a dinner attended by &#8216;a few senators and their aides,’” <a href="https://nypost.com/2021/10/26/huma-abedin-claims-sex-assault-by-us-senator-in-new-book/">according</a> to the New York Post. &#8220;Clinton, for whom she served as a longtime right hand, was not there.&#8221;
“I ended up walking out with one of the senators, and soon we stopped in front of his building and he invited me in for coffee,” Abedin wrote, according to the Post. “Once inside, he told me to make myself comfortable on the couch.”
She wrote that the senator then took off his sport coat, rolled up his sleeves, and then made some coffee as they chatted. Then he “plopped down to my right, put his left arm around my shoulder, and kissed me, pushing his tongue into my mouth, pressing me back on the sofa,” she said, according to the Post.
“I was so utterly shocked, I pushed him away,” Abedin wrote. “All I wanted was for the last 10 seconds to be erased.”
The senator, Abedin said, apologized and told her he had “misread” the situation, then asked if she wanted to stay.
“Then I said something only the twentysomething version of me would have come up with — ‘I am so sorry’ — and walked out, trying to appear as nonchalant as possible,” Abedin wrote.
Abedin said she didn&#8217;t think of the incident again until allegations of attempted sexual assault emerged against then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in 2018.
In a Vogue <a href="https://www.vogue.com/article/huma-abedin-memoir-excerpt">excerpt</a> from the book, set to be released November 2, Abedin also recounted when the sex allegations came out about her husband.
&#8220;I still remember everything about where we were in that moment, the white shaggy rug, the wooden staircase, the front door ajar, the sofa to my left. Anthony opened his mouth to speak and, as though a dam wall burst, words came flooding out. He said that he couldn’t stand lying anymore. His body shook as he tried to choke back tears,&#8221; she wrote.

Huma Abedin Says She Contemplated Suicide After Husband Was Caught In Sex Scandal

A new book alleges FBI agents looking into former Rep. Anthony Weiner’s (D-NY) messages to underage girls had an “oh s***” moment when they discovered thousands of Hillary Clinton’s private emails on the device.
The New York Post <a href="https://nypost.com/2019/10/08/oh-s-t-the-moment-fbi-agents-found-hillary-clinton-emails-on-anthony-weiners-laptop/amp/">reported</a> that the moment is included in a new book from journalist James B. Stewart, “Deep State: Trump, the FBI, and the Rule of Law.” From the Post:
<blockquote>Within hours of the Sept. 26, 2016, search warrant, FBI technicians noticed there <a href="https://vault.fbi.gov/fbi-communication-on-discovery-of-hillary-clinton-e-mails-on-anthony-weiners-laptop-computer/fbi-communication-on-discovery-of-hillary-clinton-e-mails-on-anthony-weiners-laptop-computer-part-01-of-01/view">were 340,000 emails on the laptop between Clinton and her top aide, Weiner’s wife Huma Abedin</a> — many of them from domain addresses such as “hillaryclinton.com” and “state.gov.”
At an FBI briefing later that week, one participant said the revelation was like “dropping a bomb in the middle of the meeting.”
But the discovery fell through the cracks because top FBI officials were “overwhelmed” by the Russia probe, Stewart wrote.
A determined New York FBI agent was “scared” by what he had found and pressed his superiors to finish the job.
“I’m telling you that we have potentially ten times the volume that Director Comey said we had on the record,” the agent recounted to Stewart. “Why isn’t anybody here?”</blockquote>
The email revelation came the month before the 2016 election, prompting then-FBI Director James Comey (who famously held a press conference laying out all of Clinton’s crimes but saying the FBI was declining to charge her) to reopen the investigation into her private email server.
“In previous congressional testimony, I referred to the fact that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had completed its investigation of former Secretary Clinton’s personal email server,” Comey wrote at the end of October 2016. “Due to recent developments, I am writing to supplement my previous testimony.”
“In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation,” Comey continued. “I am writing to inform you that the investigative team briefed me on this yesterday, and I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation.”
As we all know, Clinton faced no penalties for conducting official State Department business on an unsecured private home server.
Comey’s reopening of the investigation into Clinton’s emails, given the timing, is credited as part of the reason Clinton lost the 2016 election to Donald Trump. It is not the only reason, however, as Clinton ignored Wisconsin despite her campaign hearing from on-the-ground activists that the state needed support. Clinton would go on to lose Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania to Trump thanks to his support for manufacturing jobs.
Clinton, however, refused to admit that her policies had anything to do with her loss, as she even now <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/hillary-falsely-claims-she-won-2016-election-suggests-she-might-run-again">maintains she won</a> because she won the popular vote. Of course, that is not how U.S. elections are decided, as they are actually 51 smaller elections (each state plus the District of Columbia). Each of those smaller elections receives a proportional number of votes (the Electoral College) and whoever wins more of those votes wins the presidency. This is how the president has been decided for centuries and it is how Trump won, regardless of what Clinton or Democrats say.

Report: FBI Had An ‘Oh S—’ Moment When They Discovered Hillary Clinton’s Emails On Anthony Weiner’s Laptop

Disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner is finally free after serving 21 months in prison and an additional several months in a halfway house in New York City for sending lewd photos to a minor across state lines, a federal crime.
Weiner walked out of his Manhattan halfway house early Tuesday morning, to a gaggle of reporters.
&#8220;It&#8217;s good to be out,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I hope to be able to live a life of integrity and service. I&#8217;m glad this chapter of my life is behind me.&#8221;
Weiner has been in jail since late 2017, after he pleaded guilty to &#8220;one charge of transferring obscene material to a minor,&#8221; <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2019/05/14/politics/anthony-weiner-released-from-prison-custody/index.html">according to CNN</a>, stemming from a sexting incident &#8212; the third such incident for Weiner, who lost both his job in Congress and his campaign to become mayor of New York City because he was unable to resist the urge to court women using private messaging services.
Weiner resigned in disgrace from Congress in 2011, after he was discovered to have engaged in &#8220;inappropriate, extramarital relationships with several women he met online&#8221; &#8212; relationships which involved sending lewd photos of himself to the women using Twitter&#8217;s private direct messaging service. After making a mistake and posting one photo publicly, Weiner&#8217;s habit of conducting affairs using the social media platform was revealed.
In 2013, after hiding out for two years, Weiner tried to re-enter politics, this time running for mayor of New York City. His campaign was widely considered a &#8220;test balloon&#8221; for then-Senator Hillary Clinton&#8217;s potential 2016 presidential run. The effort allowed Weiner&#8217;s wife, close Clinton aide Huma Abedin, to get a sense of donor availability in NYC and compile a list of potential Clinton supporters.
But Weiner eventually ruined that effort, too, sending a series of racy texts to a Democratic aide in Indiana named Sydney Leathers, using the moniker &#8220;Carlos Danger.&#8221;
Although both incidents were clearly inappropriate and unethical, Weiner escaped criminal prosecution until 2017, when federal agents discovered he had again been texting with a female, but this time, she was a minor in Kentucky, and Weiner&#8217;s sexually aggressive texts &#8212; which included photos &#8212; ran afoul of federal laws against sending salacious material across state lines.
Weiner pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a term of around two years in federal prison. He served 21 months in a minimum-security federal facility in Massachusetts and was then transfered, for the final three months of his sentence, to a halfway house, where he was expected to abide by house rules, find a job, and work on re-entering public life.
Weiner has been mum on his future plans &#8212; it certainly wouldn&#8217;t be beyond belief for him to make a third run at a political career, even this late in the game &#8212; but <a href="https://nypost.com/2019/04/29/anthony-weiner-on-the-prowl-for-a-book-deal/">the New York Post reported</a> last month that Weiner has been shopping around a book proposal, likely a memoir of his life.
No one has bitten.
&#8220;Every Simon &amp; Schuster imprint has passed,&#8221; a source told the Post. &#8220;The project is being repped by the hot downtown boutique agency Foundry Literary + Media &#8212; which was behind nonfiction best-sellers by &#8216;Daily Show&#8217; host Trevor Noah, New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton and &#8216;Jersey Shore&#8217; star Vinny Guadagnino.&#8221;

Weiner Is Free! Disgraced Congressman Leaves Halfway House in New York

Anthony Weiner might be trading politics for a much more lucrative industry &#8212; marijuana &#8212; according to an exclusive report from the <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6735613/Anthony-Weiner-ditches-politics-marijuana-business.html">Daily Mail</a>.
Weiner is out on a form of supervised release, a privilege of being on &#8220;good behavior&#8221; for most of the 15 months he served in federal prison for sending lewd photos of himself to a teenager. He&#8217;s serving the remainder of his sentence at a halfway house in Manhattan, and appears to be free to roam the city during the day, so long as he returns to the appropriate building at night.
On Monday, the Mail reports, Weiner took a breakfast meeting with a potential business partner and a source close to the conversaion overheard what was clearly the beginning of marijuana venture. Weiner reportedly referenced &#8220;Colorado&#8221; and &#8220;California,&#8221; and spoke of his lack of experience with &#8220;hydroponics,&#8221; but instructed his potential partner about mentioning his involvement.
It&#8217;s not clear what role in the effort Weiner was reportedly discussing; as a convicted felon, he&#8217;d be barred from participating in legal marijuana production, distribution, or sales in most states and at the federal level, but he could consult or provide investment capital.
Regardless of whether he ends up in the pot business, Weiner will have to find gainful employment as a condition of remaining in the federal halfway house program. Conditional release, like the kind Weiner has been given, requires that former inmates work at least 40 hours per week. Weiner may be an exception to this rule, the Daily Mail claims, because of his notoriety &#8212; and because politics doesn&#8217;t exactly prepare you for the real world of post-incarceration employment.
Weiner&#8217;s troubles started years ago, when he was confronted with evidence that he had &#8220;sexted&#8221; a lewd photo of himself to a woman who was not his wife, using Twitter. After initially denying the photo, Weiner apologized for his behavior and resigned from his position in Congress as a representative from the state of New York.
A short time later, Weiner tried to revive his politial career with an ill-advised campaign for mayor. Again, during that stint, he was revealed to have traded lewd messages, in which he referred to himself by the alias &#8220;Carlos Danger,&#8221; with a Democratic campaign worker from Ohio named Sydney Leathers. Weiner closed his mayoral campaign in disgrace and receded from the public eye.
In early 2017, Weiner was arrested on charges that he&#8217;d engaged in lewd conversation across state lines with a minor &#8212; a fifteen-year-old girl. He was eventually tried and convicted on federal charges and sentenced to a nearly two-year stint in federal prison. He was released late last month after serving just over a year of his sentence. He is expected to officially finish his sentence and be re-released into public in May.

Disgraced former congressman &#8212; and convicted federal sex offender &#8212; Anthony Weiner, was released from prison this morning after serving 15 months for sexting a minor across state lines.
<a href="https://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/ny-metro-anthony-weiner-prison-release-20190217-story.html?__twitter_impression=true&amp;__twitter_impression=true">The New York Daily News</a> reports that Weiner has left the minimum security facility he&#8217;s called home for the last year, the Federal Medical Center in Devins, Massachusetts, and is now &#8220;in a reentry center,&#8221; working to acclimate back to normal life on the outside.
It&#8217;s not immediately clear if Weiner is a free man, however. He is either in a halfway house, the outlet reports, or he is under house arrest. He is being closely monitored by the Federal Residential Reentry Management Agency, according to <a href="https://nypost.com/2019/02/17/anthony-weiner-released-from-prison-will-register-as-sex-offender/">the New York Post</a>. He will not be officially released from federal custody until mid-May, though he managed to &#8220;shave about three months off his sentence,&#8221; the Post says, due to his good behavior behind bars.
Additionally, the Post reports, Weiner will &#8220;spend three years on supervised release and will have to pay a $10,000 fine as well as register as a sex offender.&#8221;
Anthony Weiner has been in and out of trouble over his &#8220;sexting&#8221; problem since 2011, when he was first caught messaging a woman who was not his wife, photos of his private parts, using Twitter. After first claiming to be hacked, Weiner was forced to resign his office and begin a public &#8220;rehabilitation.&#8221;
A few short years later, Weiner made a second foray into the public eye, this time running for mayor of New York City. Like clockwork, though, Weiner was again revealed to have engaged in Twitter sexting, this time with a Democratic campaign worker in Ohio named Sydney Leathers. Weiner&#8217;s texts and direct messages revealed that he had not changed his ways since leaving Congress, and that he often used the bizarre and hilarious pseudonym, Carlos Danger, when communicating with women online.
In 2017, as his wife Huma Abedin was serving as a top advisor for Hillary Clinton&#8217;s presidential campaign, Weiner was busted yet again, this time for sending lewd photos to a woman in North Carolina, who turned out to be a 15 year old girl. &#8220;According to the feds, Weiner sent her &#8216;adult pornography&#8217; and repeatedly convinced her to strip naked and fondle herself while he watched via Skype and Snapchat in February and March 2016,&#8221; <a href="https://nypost.com/2017/09/25/anthony-weiner-gets-hard-time/">the New York Post reported</a> at the time.
Weiner&#8217;s laptop was seized and his communications investigated. Eventually, federal agents charged Weiner with transmitting lewd content to a minor across state lines.
Abedin filed for divorce as soon as Weiner was officially convicted.
After pleading guilty to the federal charge in the hopes of getting a reduced prison term, Weiner was hit with a <a href="https://nypost.com/2017/09/25/anthony-weiner-gets-hard-time/">sentence of 21 months in federal prison</a>. When he is released from federal custody, he will have served two-thirds of that term in a facility, and around one-third of that term at home, under federal supervision.

Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey used a private email account hundreds of times to conduct government business &#8212; &#8220;and at least seven of those messages were deemed so sensitive by the Justice Department that they declined to release them,&#8221; the <a href="https://nypost.com/2018/11/09/james-comey-discussed-sensitive-fbi-business-on-his-private-email/">New York Post</a> reports.
Like Hillary Clinton, whom Comey decided had broken no laws when she used her own homegrown server and email to send and receive classified information, Comey said he used the Gmail account only for &#8220;incidental&#8221; purposes.
But the Justice Department said that Comey and his chief of staff &#8220;discussed government business on about 1,200 pages of messages, 156 of which were obtained by The Post.&#8221;

The Cause of Action Institute, a conservative watchdog group, filed a Freedom of Information lawsuit for Comey&#8217;s Gmail correspondence involving his work for the bureau. The Justice Department responded that there were an eye-popping 1,200 pages of messages for Comey and his chief of staff that met the criteria.
Justice released 156 of them but refused to hand over seven emails because they would &#8220;disclose techniques and procedures for law enforcement investigations or prosecutions.&#8221; And another 363 pages of emails were withheld because they discussed privileged agency communications or out of personal privacy concerns.
Cause of Action&#8217;s CEO slammed the former top G-man for minimizing the work he did using his private account. &#8220;Using private email to conduct official government business endangers transparency and accountability, and that is why we sued the Department of Justice,&#8221; said John Vecchione.
&#8220;We&#8217;re deeply concerned that the FBI withheld numerous emails citing FOIA&#8217;s law enforcement exemption. This runs counter to Comey&#8217;s statements that his use of email was incidental and never involved any sensitive matters.&#8221;

In one email, Comey recognized the irony of the FBI investigating Clinton for questionable email practices while he used his own private account to do the same thing.

Two days after complaining that his &#8220;mobile is not sending emails,&#8221; Comey asked an aide that the testimony he was to deliver to the Senate be sent on his private account &#8212; calling it an &#8220;embarrassing&#8221; situation.
&#8220;He [aide] will need to send to personal email I suppose,&#8221; Comey wrote. &#8220;Embarrassing for us.&#8221;
Lisa Rosenberg, executive director of Open the Government, a nonpartisan coalition that advocates for government transparency, said Comey&#8217;s practice of using personal email while investigating Clinton reeks of a double standard.
&#8220;It&#8217;s just so transparently hypocritical to have one standard for a person you are investigating and an entirely different standard for yourself when you are the one who&#8217;s enforcing the law,&#8221; Rosenberg said.

In October, a government watchdog group released more than 1,600 documents showing classified information being transmitted through the secret &#8212; and unsecured &#8212; account of Huma Abedin, former Secretary of State Clinton&#8217;s deputy chief of staff.
Clinton set up her own private email server in her New York home, which she used throughout her time at the State Department. She often asked Abedin to forward her email that was classified, which the aide did.
Judicial Watch reports that &#8220;the documents included 97 email exchanges with Clinton not previously turned over to the State Department, bringing the known total to date to at least 627 emails that were not part of the 55,000 pages of emails that Clinton turned over.&#8221;
Also in October, the State Department received another 2,800 Clinton emails found on the laptop of Anthony Weiner, the estranged husband of Abedin.
The FBI turned over the documents after Judicial Watch sued the State Department for failing to respond to a Freedom of Information Act request.
&#8220;This is a disturbing development,&#8221; Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a press release Tuesday, which is pushing for the public release of the emails. &#8220;Our experience with Abedin&#8217;s emails suggest these Weiner laptop documents will include classified and other sensitive materials.&#8221;

REPORT: James Comey Discussed Sensitive FBI Business On His Private Email Account

Disgraced ex-Congressman Anthony Weiner was supposed to serve 23-27 months in prison for sending &#8220;lewd communications&#8221; to a minor — a 15-year-old girl — but he&#8217;s been such a &#8220;model inmate&#8221; he may be back on the street as early as next May.
<a href="https://nypost.com/2018/10/08/weiner-on-track-for-early-release/">The New York Post reports that Weiner</a>, a sexting repeat offender, was sentenced to around two years in prison, but he&#8217;s exhibited such &#8220;good conduct&#8221; that he&#8217;s set to earn a 100-day reprieve: 54 days for each year in prison without being cited for breaking the rules.
That moves Weiner&#8217;s parole date up from August of 2019 to May of 2019. Weiner will earn parole just in time to campaign for the 2020 Presidential elections.
Weiner ruined his bid for re-election to Congress by sending lewd photos of his barely clad nether regions to a woman on Twitter. When he tried to plot a political comeback, running for New York City mayor, he was forced to again resign in disgrace after initiating an online relationship with an Ohio Democratic operative named Sydney Leathers under the pseudonym, &#8220;Carlos Danger.&#8221;
In 2017, Weiner finally &#8220;hit rock bottom,&#8221; as the New York Post calls it, when he admitted to sexting lewd photos of himself to a minor.

Deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe&#8217;s sudden departure remains a mystery, but the clues seem to lead back to one man: Anthony Weiner.
<a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/internal-justice-department-probe-eyes-mccabes-role-in-final-weeks-of-2016-election/2018/01/30/db2ea8f0-05c7-11e8-8777-2a059f168dd2_story.html?utm_term=.b23df6f0be29">According to a report in The Washington Post</a>, McCabe was the subject of an internal investigation attempting to find out why he stalled nearly three weeks before investigating a set of potentially classified emails found on a laptop shared by disgraced congressman Anthony Weiner, and his wife, Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin.
The inspector general Michael E. Horowitz, WaPo reports, has been asking witnesses &#8220;why FBI leadership seemed unwilling to move forward on the examination of emails found on the laptop,&#8221; choosing to wait until nearly the end of October to comb through for potentially damning evidence that then-candidate Clinton had mishandled classified information, sending it to Abedin to print, even if Abedin wasn&#8217;t cleared to see the messages.
Horowitz seems concerned that McCabe and others were attempting to stall the investigation until after the presidential election had concluded, ostensibly to help Clinton avoid any negative press.
The emails came to light in September 2016, when Weiner relinquished his laptop to federal investigators looking for evidence that Weiner had transmitted lewd photos of himself to a minor. Weiner eventually plead guilty to the charge, but not before investigators found thousands of Huma Abedin&#8217;s work emails copied onto the laptop, some of which appeared to be classified.
Just days before the presidential election, FBI director James Comey announced that the discovery of those emails necessitated reopening an investigation against Clinton &#8212; a move plenty of Democrats (and maybe Clinton herself) believe ultimately cost Clinton the presidency. Comey was eventually forgiven, after Donald Trump fired him and he became a spokesperson for the &#8220;Resistance,&#8221; but the emails remain at the center of an internal DOJ probe.
McCabe and the DOJ have remained mum on why McCabe resigned from the FBI just a few short months before he was due to retire, but <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/internal-justice-department-probe-eyes-mccabes-role-in-final-weeks-of-2016-election/2018/01/30/db2ea8f0-05c7-11e8-8777-2a059f168dd2_story.html?utm_term=.b23df6f0be29">sources told The Washington Post</a> that they discussed this internal investigation in the meeting where McCabe tendered his resignation.

Hillary Clinton&#8217;s top aide Huma Abedin and her skeevy perv husband Anthony Weiner have reportedly withdrawn their pending divorce case.
The New York Post reports that Abedin was set to appear Wednesday in a Manhattan court for a compliance conference with a judge concerning their divorce. &#8220;Instead one of her attorneys submitted paperwork signed by both parties agreeing to end the case, a court source told The Post.&#8221;
The judge said the case has been &#8220;discontinued.&#8221;

Abedin finally filed for the split last May just hours after Weiner pleaded guilty to sexting with a minor. She had stood by the much-mocked former congressman since 2011, when, a year into their marriage, he tearfully admitted Tweeting out an underwear selfie.
The disgraced pol is serving nearly two years of hard time in a Massachusetts federal lockup. Lawyers for both sides did not immediately return requests for comment.

But that may not mean the two are back together (well, after Weiner gets out of jail). The court source said the filing means that either the estranged couple will stay married or negotiate their split privately.
Abedin filed for divorce on May 19, 2016, the same day Weiner pleaded guilty to sexting with a minor. Abedin brought an anonymous versus anonymous action in Manhattan Supreme Court, according to The Post.
Weiner&#8217;s fall from grace was spectacular. In 2011, he sent out an explicit photo of Weiner Jr. on Twitter &#8212; he meant to send a direct message but instead posted it on his page for the world to see. He quickly deleted it, then claimed to have been hacked, but he was forced to resign after admitting that he had carried on sexual online relationships with half a dozen women.
Weiner ran for mayor of New York City in 2013, but was once again caught texting women his tiny Weiner, this time under the online moniker &#8220;Carlos Danger.&#8221; And just as Hillary was battling Donald Trump in what was then a tight race, thousands of messages on Weiner&#8217;s laptop prompted then-FBI Director James Comey to announce an investigation into Clinton&#8217;s email practices &#8212; which Clinton and others claim cost her the election.
Abedin, meanwhile, remains snared in a burgeoning Congressional investigation over the Clinton email scandal. New reports say she backed up copies of her emails with Clinton onto her husband&#8217;s laptop, contrary to what she told the FBI and other officials investigating the email scandal.
But Abedin told the FBI that she &#8220;lost most of her old emails as a result of the transition&#8221; from the State Department.
&#8220;She had only accessed clintonemail.com through a web portal and did not have a method for archiving her old emails prior to the transition,&#8221; according to notes taken during an FBI interview with Abedin on April 5, 2016.
Abedin compounded that statement in June 2016 by telling lawyers from a watchdog group under oath that she didn&#8217;t back up emails.
&#8220;With respect to those State Department work-related emails on the Clintonemail.com accounts, what did you do, if anything, to preserve those emails?&#8221; asked an attorney with Judicial Watch, according to a transcript of the deposition.
Abedin said she &#8220;did not do anything to preserve those emails.&#8221;

Actor James Woods, one of the lone conservative voices left in Hollywood, has perfected what has become his most beloved role: master Twitter troll. This week he once again took to his favorite social media platform to succinctly demonstrate the left-wing bias of what used to be the nation&#8217;s most revered and reliable paper, The New York Times.
On Tuesday, Woods tweeted out a link to a Times article on President Trump slamming Huma Abedin, titled &#8220;<a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2018/01/02/us/politics/trump-clinton-aide-huma-abedin.html">Trump Accuses Former Clinton Aide of Failing to Follow Security Protocols</a>.&#8221; Woods points out that the article somehow fails to mention some key facts.
&#8220;Only the @nytimes could publish this story without mentioning that a) Abedin emailed a classified password, b) her husband is in prison, and c) she broke federal espionage laws,&#8221; wrote Woods.

While the Times article does mention that The Daily Caller reports that Abedin &#8220;forwarded some government passwords to her private Yahoo email account in 2009,&#8221; the paper sidesteps any discussion of the serious nature of her actions and neglects to provide any details about Abedin&#8217;s disgraced, imprisoned husband. Here is the only mention of her serial sex offender spouse, whom the Times simply describes as her &#8220;estranged husband&#8221;:

The Times frames the fact that Abedin illegally had classified material on her sex offender husband&#8217;s laptop as simply a &#8220;sore spot&#8221; for Hillary Clinton because it likely hurt her in the election:

CNN&#8217;s Don Lemon lost his mind on Thursday when a conservative political commentator pointed out that Hillary Clinton&#8217;s emails were found on the laptop of <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2017/09/25/politics/anthony-weiner-sentencing/index.html">convicted child sexual predator</a> Anthony Weiner, screaming at him and ending the segment before he could continue.
&#8220;There are a lot of people that feel like that there was special treatment that was given to people that worked for Barack Obama, and things that they did that they would have been indicted for if they were Republicans,&#8221; <a href="https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/tom-blumer/2017/12/29/censorship-news-network-lemon-shouts-no-9-times-ends-segment-silence">said</a> talk radio host and CNN political commentator Ben Ferguson.
&#8220;For example, when you clearly have top-secret information on a laptop that you have on a server in the basement of your house, and then you send those top-secret classified documents to people that aren&#8217;t even cleared to see them, and then you forward them to your husband, who by the way is in jail by the name of Anthony Weiner,&#8221; Ferguson continued. &#8220;If that was a Republican &#8212; they would have been indicted.&#8221;
It was at that point that CNN&#8217;s Lemon lost it, screaming &#8220;no!&#8221; nine times in a row before calling for the segment to be cut for a commercial break.

This is not the first time that Lemon has become agitated over individuals bringing up Bill Clinton&#8217;s sexual misconduct allegations, which include rape, and Hillary Clinton&#8217;s enabling of her husband&#8217;s alleged behavior. In 2015, Lemon had a similar meltdown when conservative columnist Kurt Schlichter brought up Clinton&#8217;s past, telling him to &#8220;stop!&#8221; multiple times before openly telling the show&#8217;s producers to &#8220;cut him off.&#8221;
