“As much as I’d love to pay for the entire team and their families for travel, transportation, hotel, food and beverage, uniforms, trading pins and all the things teams do for this kind of trip—I can not afford to do so. Maybe someday.”
Milano continued, speculating that her critics would have come after her even if she hadn’t crowd-sourced the funds. 
“Also, if I did pay for everyone—my trolls would find something else to be hurtful about,” she wrote. “Regardless of how you feel about me, going on to my hardworking 12 year old son’s Instagram page and leaving these kinds of messages is so horrid. Leave the kids alone. Let them play baseball. If you are against donating—don’t donate. If you’d like to donate to help the team’s families — we appreciate it—the link is in his bio.”
The “Charmed” actress added a photo with a screenshot from one of those detractors, who had commented on her son’s Instagram saying it was “selfish” for Milano, with her “net worth of 10 million dollars,” to be asking “middle income people from society to donate to a baseball team.” 
Her son replied, writing that his mom was the “greatest human being of all time” and “does everything for everyone.”
Milano originally created the GoFundMe under her married name and shared it on her X account, which caused the post to go viral, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/out-of-touch-alyssa-milano-asks-x-users-to-contribute-to-gofundme-for-sons-baseball-team">reported</a>. Several X users called out the petition, dubbing it “gross” and “next level tone deaf.”

Milano, who organized the GoFundMe account under her married name, Alyssa Bugliari, played one of the main characters on the popular TV show &#8220;Charmed&#8221; from 1998 to 2006 and has appeared in dozens of other shows and movies. She has husband David Bugliari, a talent agent, listed as the fundraiser&#8217;s beneficiary.

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/britney-spears">Britney Spears</a> accused <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/alyssa-milano">Alyssa Milano</a> of “bullying” after an incident which involved police coming to her house at the request of fans.
It started back in December when Milano responded to a video Spears had posted to Instagram. “Someone please go check on Britney Spears,&#8221; the “Brazen” actress posted in a tweet on December 21.
Now the pop singer is responding to the message via her <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/instagram">Instagram</a> account. On Tuesday night, Spears posted a screenshot of the tweet and shared her thoughts on it with more than 41 million of her followers.
&#8220;It saddens me to see things about me from people who don&#8217;t know me!!! This definitely feels like a form of bullying,&#8221; Spears wrote in her Instagram story, per <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/britney-spears-alyssa-milano-tweet-bullying-192718646.html">Yahoo</a>. &#8220;Ladies, we are supposed to be rooting for one another not pulling one another down!&#8221;
A rep for Milano told <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/02/01/alyssa-milano-has-reached-out-to-britney-spears-to-apologize-over-tweet/">TMZ</a> that the actress reached out to Spears privately Wednesday to apologize after she saw the Instagram story.
There’s a good chance the “Toxic” singer is feeling sensitive following the incident which inspired police to visit her home late at night after concerned fans kept calling them. They were allegedly worried about Spears deactivating her Instagram account, which she has done several times in the past. 
&#8220;Police were called to my home based on some prank phone calls. I love and adore my fans but this time things went a little too far and my privacy was invaded,” the singer shared on Instagram. “The police never entered my home and when they came to my gate they quickly realized there was no issue and left immediately.”
Spears followed up with an explanation as to why she deactivated her social media account in the first place, which has to do with fan comments similar to Milano’s.
“I shut down my Instagram because there were too many people saying I looked like an idiot dancing and that I looked crazy,” Spears shared upon her return.
“Yes I took my Instagram down and now it’s back up because I can!!!” she said in a later update, which has since been deleted.
&#8220;Since everyone thinks they know my story. THINK AGAIN,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;It is what it is … nope I&#8217;m not having a breakdown … I am who I am and moving forward in my life. I have never felt better!!!&#8221;

&#8220;Charmed&#8221; star <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/alyssa-milano-says-she-was-arrested-at-voter-rights-rally-outside-white-house/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alyssa Milano</a> said on Tuesday that she planned to stay on Twitter despite the trolls and her recent dust-up with billionaire and self-described &#8220;Chief Twit&#8221; <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/i-have-no-idea-what-he-is-hollywood-a-lister-questions-whether-elon-musk-is-a-real-person/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Elon Musk</a>, arguing that it was like a &#8220;turf war&#8221; and that it was important not to &#8220;cede that territory.&#8221;
Milano joined the co-hosts of ABC&#8217;s midday talk show &#8220;The View&#8221; on Tuesday, and she complained that Musk could have donated money to UNICEF instead of <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/some-speech-is-not-okay-free-speech-whoopi-loses-it-over-elon-musk-vows-to-quit-twitter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">buying</a> the social media platform, saying that if he had donated $40 billion instead, he could have put an end to world hunger.

&#8220;You know, your name popped up over the weekend when you tweeted that you returned your Tesla,&#8221; Joy Behar began, prompting a visible reaction from <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/milano-blasted-for-trading-her-tesla-for-a-vw-over-white-supremacy-vw-literally-founded-by-hitler/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Milano</a>. Milano responded by saying that she didn&#8217;t understand why Musk had bought Twitter in the first place, arguing that if he had wanted to change the world he should have donated the money to an organization like UNICEF.
&#8220;You buy Twitter to destroy it — for $40 billion — $40 billion. Elon Musk — imagine if he donated that money to UNICEF? He would change the world! There would be — there would be no hunger,&#8221; she said.
Sunny Hostin then asked Milano whether she would stay on Twitter if it continued to be a &#8220;hellscape,&#8221; and the &#8220;Who&#8217;s the Boss?&#8221; alum said she wasn&#8217;t planning to go anywhere.
&#8220;I was always on the receiving end of trolls,&#8221; Milano said. &#8220;So to me it doesn&#8217;t feel any different. I always open Twitter with &#8230; you know what I mean, like with a helmet on because I&#8217;m so scared like something&#8217;s going to come out and hit me.&#8221;
&#8220;Do you think you&#8217;ll stay on it?&#8221; Hostin asked.
&#8220;Yeah, because we can&#8217;t cede that territory,&#8221; Milano insisted. &#8220;It&#8217;s like a turf war now. That&#8217;s how I look at it, and we can&#8217;t — I can&#8217;t &#8230;&#8221;
Whoopi Goldberg interrupted, saying that there was no way to wrest Twitter back from the trolls and it was best to simply &#8220;leave that for them&#8221; and move on.

Celebrities have been political for decades.
Remember when Marlon Brando sent Native American Sacheen Littlefeather to decline his Oscar for “The Godfather?” How about when Michael Moore used his Best Documentary Oscar speech to blast President George W. Bush in 2003?
That was just a taste of the New Normal. Today’s stars are hyper-political, almost always in unison with the progressive playbook. They vent on social media, in magazine profiles, and, of course, from awards show stages.
A few stars go beyond those virtue signals. They seemingly live and breathe political banter, using every opportunity to rage against the GOP. And you can blame some, if not most, of it on a certain real estate mogul.
<h3>Rob Reiner </h3>
The man affectionately known as Meathead from “All in the Family” became one of Hollywood’s best directors after leaving the CBS sitcom.
“This Is Spinal Tap.” “Stand By Me.” “The Princess Bride.” “Misery.” “A Few Good Men.” “When Harry Met Sally.”
Few modern directors can match that resume.
These days, he directs flops (“Shock and Awe;” “And So It Goes”) in between having raging fits against former President Donald Trump on every platform possible. His most embarrassing moment? He used the death of his father, comedy icon Carl Reiner, <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/rob-reiner-father-hoped-live-205216941.html">to target Trump</a>.
His August appearance on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” found him <a href="https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2022/08/29/maher_media_buried_the_hunter_biden_story_because_they_couldnt_risk_having_trump_win_the_election.html">unable to answer a direct question</a> from the affable host about the media burying the Hunter Biden laptop scandal. He couldn’t abandon his progressive talking points and looked foolish in the process.
His next project could, in theory, put an end to his cinematic cold streak. He’s directing a sequel to the classic mockumentary “This Is Spinal Tap.” Will his Trump derangement enter the frame? Would anyone bet against it?
<h3>Chelsea Handler</h3>
The former E! superstar left the channel to join Netflix’s team, but she eventually decided to become a full-time activist. Why? Politics gnawed at her, and she figured she’d be more effective as an activist than a talk show host.
Or, perhaps, her Netflix series drew terrible ratings, and she left before she got canned.
Either way, she’s transformed her shtick from bawdy blasts from her boudoir to lectures about so-called <a href="https://www.huffpost.com/entry/chelsea-handler-donald-trump-white-privilege_n_5d8301e8e4b0957256b11476">white privilege</a>. She even said white males are the <a href="https://www.hollywoodintoto.com/chelsea-handler-white-men-woke-comedy/">only “approved” target</a> for comedians today.
She did much more than overhaul her act, though. She sauntered in several women’s marches, ignored politicians accused of sexual misconduct if they had a “D” in front of their names, and demanded racially-charged jokes become illegal in the U.S. &#8211; while ignoring <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/chelsea-handler-ripped-hypocrite-condemning-jokes-racism-153019877.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall">her own “criminal” past</a> on the matter.
In between political broadsides, Handler discusses the progress <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/chelsea-handler-47-says-therapy-gave-her-the-self-awareness-she-needed-to-fall-in-love-with-jo-koy-145856232.html">she’s made in therapy</a> following the Trump era.
<h3>Ron Perlman</h3>
The character actor landed the role of a lifetime as Clay, the head of the “Sons of Anarchy” motorcycle club. That FX series showcased Perlman’s range and ability to project anger on screen.
Over and again.
We’ve gotten a taste of that off-screen, too, ever since Trump took office. Perlman became obsessed with the 45th president, turning his Twitter feed into a round-the-clock, anti-Trump showcase.
His most embarrassing Tweet? He said he’d <a href="https://www.hollywoodintoto.com/ron-perlman-trump-twitter-resistance/">risk death to dethrone Trump.</a>
Perlman never stops working – his IMDB page is chock-full of soon-to-be released titles. His political fires still burn, however, despite a new president inhabiting the White House. Trump Derangement is a permanent part of his psyche, alas, and chances are his TV is permanently set to MSNBC.
<h3>Alyssa Milano</h3>
The 40-something actress landed not one but two beloved shows – “Who’s the Boss” and “Charmed.” These days, she’s more activist than actor. Her podcast, “Sorry, Not Sorry,” lets her weigh in on the latest political headlines, and she’s equally vocal with social media, particularly her 3.6 million strong Twitter account.
Her cause celebre? Women’s rights … except when they overlap with her progressive pals. She became one of Hollywood’s #MeToo warriors, but she initially laid low when former Biden staffer Tara Reade accused the now-president of sexually molesting her in 1993.
Milano finally commented on the ugly charge, saying her “Believe All Women” mantra came with an asterisk.
She similarly softened her hard-charging approach when 11 women charged New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo of sexually inappropriate behavior as well as when the group Time’s Up, which was established to protect women, couldn’t rally on their behalf.
Fellow “Charmed” alum <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/rose-mcgowan-slams-alyssa-milano-joe-biden-times-up-ceo-cuomo-sex-scandal">Rose McGowan called Milano’s blazing hypocrisy</a> out on the matter, &#8220;Milano, TimesUp, fake performatives and profiteers. Alyssa&#8217;s statement at the time was gaslighting in full effect. She said of my truth telling ‘Hurt people hurt people.’ No, Alyssa, it&#8217;s lizard people like you, SDK Knickerbocker, Gov Cuomo, the Pres, Tina Chen who hurt people. Your time is up. Exit stage left.”
<h3>Jennifer Lawrence</h3>
What’s a sure sign you’ve let politics get the best of you? You throw your immediate family under the bus in a fawning magazine profile.
That’s exactly what this “Hunger Games” star did when talking up her next movie at Vogue Magazine. Lawrence said she tried and tried to forgive her right-leaning family for not aligning with her progressive views.

Even more alarming? She admitted to having nightmares about Tucker Carlson, the Fox News superstar.
<h3>Amy Schumer</h3>
Schumer took a page out of Handler’s woke playbook in transforming her once-blazing career. Now, her movies do little damage at the box office, and she’s relegated to small screen gigs like “Life &amp; Beth,” which barely moved the pop culture needle.
Why? She used her “Inside Amy Schumer” showcase to promote <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/amy-schumer-drops-new-anti-gun-sketch-chase-stephens">progressive causes like gun control</a>, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/amy-schumer-protesting-nfl-says-she-wont-do-any-emily-zanotti">got herself arrested</a> for protesting Supreme Court justices under the flimsiest of sex abuse allegations, and then boycotted the NFL for not employing failed quarterback Colin Kaepernick. She essentially cut her potential audience in half with her hard-left politics, and she’s no longer the industry’s go-to comedienne.
Her tepid co-hosting gig at the recent Oscars ceremony showed anew her best comic days are behind her. That won’t stop her activism, though.

Over The Edge: Six Stars Swallowed Whole By Politics (And You Can Blame Trump)

Although you have likely not heard much about it from the media, the Democrats recently unveiled a plan to illegally add an element of their radical, intersectional agenda to the text of the U.S. Constitution. The controversial amendment could eliminate all laws that recognize biological differences between men and women, and it could force taxpayers to fund abortion-on-demand. Worse yet, their actions come decades after the Left tried and failed to convince Americans to adopt the proposed amendment democratically. Congressional Democrats’ plot to declare victory despite their national repudiation is so unscrupulous and unserious that their main witness at a recent hearing was actress Alyssa Milano, who said they have an “obligation to fix the Constitution” and “stop it from failing” everyone “who is not a cisgender man.”
At issue is the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), a benign-sounding Nixon-era amendment that concealed an unpopular feminist agenda. Critics say it would erode the legal protections of women and create a constitutional right to abortion just as Supreme Court justices seem poised to amend, or overturn, Roe v. Wade. Regardless of its substance (which we’ll discuss in a minute), conservatives should be alarmed at the Democrats’ plan to amend the text of the U.S. Constitution 38 years after their ratification efforts failed.
The Equal Rights Amendment seemed destined to become the 27th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution in 1972. <a href="https://www.archives.gov/federal-register/constitution/article-v.html">Article V</a> of the Constitution requires amendments to pass Congress by a two-thirds margin, then be ratified by three-fourths of the states (38 states out of 50). The ERA — which was championed by democratic socialists <a href="https://direct.mit.edu/jcws/article-abstract/23/1/229/100498/Battling-Bella-The-Protest-Politics-of-Bella-Abzug?redirectedFrom=fulltext">Rep. Bella Abzug</a> (D-NY), <a href="https://www.dsausa.org/statements/npc_statement_on_gloria_steinem/">Gloria Steinem</a>, and <a href="https://www.heritage.org/gender/report/betty-friedan-and-the-birth-modern-feminism">Betty Friedan</a> — <a href="https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/equal-rights-amendment-passed-by-congress">passed</a> the U.S. House of Representatives by the required margin in October 1971 and cleared the Senate five months later. But the legislation they passed contained a <a href="https://abc7chicago.com/equal-rights-amendment-era-federal-judge-advocates/10395278/">time limit</a>: The ERA had to be ratified within seven years.
That hurdle seemed insignificant, as a total of 30 states ratified the ERA within a year — 14 of them within the first month. Five more states followed by <a href="https://sgp.fas.org/crs/misc/R42979.pdf">1978</a>, when the Democrat-controlled Congress voted to extend the deadline to <a href="https://www.equalrightsamendment.org/era-ratification-map">June 30, 1982</a>.
The reason the momentum ground to a halt can be encapsulated in two words: Phyllis Schlafly, a well-educated mother from Illinois who would go on to found <a href="https://eagleforum.org/">Eagle Forum</a>. Schlafly gave the American people an opportunity to think through the ways the ERA would impact daily life. The main text of the amendment read: “Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of sex.”
Women already enjoy equality under the law thanks to the 14th Amendment, she said. In fact, she continued, society gave women such an elevated state that legal equality would downgrade their status. How would eliminating all laws made “on account of sex,” she <a href="https://eagleforum.org/topics/era/please-vote-no-on-era-because-the-era-harms-women.html">asked</a>, affect such policies as:
<ul>
<li>women’s exemption from being drafted into military service;</li>
<li>separate facilities for showers, restrooms, college dorm rooms, battered women’s shelters, and prisons;</li>
<li>federal programs like Title IX, Social Security benefits for women who worked in the home, and Women Infants and Children (WIC)</li>
</ul>
While her opponents insisted Schlafly exaggerated the impact of the bill, its legislative history says otherwise. Senators proposed a portion of this amendment specifying that the ERA does not overturn state laws banning “sexual offenses” as a separate amendment; the Senate rejected it, 71-17. Indeed, Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) recently <a href="https://maloney.house.gov/issues/womens-issues/equal-rights-amendment">said</a> that the “ERA will eliminate sex discrimination in the armed services.” Conservative scholar <a href="https://www.iwv.org/people/inez-stepman/">Inez Feltscher Stepman</a> of <a href="https://www.iwv.org/">Independent Women’s Voice</a> said that, taken to its logical conclusion, the ERA could <a href="https://oversight.house.gov/sites/democrats.oversight.house.gov/files/Stepman%20Testimony.pdf">require</a> the military “to draft men and women in equal numbers and to send equal numbers of women and men into combat positions.”
But the biggest fight over the ERA is how it would impact abortion — and here, it is not conservatives making the bold claims. To this day, the abortion lobby believes the ERA would strike down <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/media-bias-101-pro-life-restrictions-vs-pro-abortion-protections">pro-life legislative protections</a> in all 50 states. “With its ratification, the ERA would reinforce the constitutional right to abortion by clarifying that the sexes have equal rights, which would require judges to strike down anti-abortion laws because they violate both the constitutional right to privacy and sexual equality,” NARAL <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20191223210820/https:/www.prochoiceamerica.org/campaign/era_yes/">wrote</a> on a website, which it has since deleted. The president of Planned Parenthood, Alexis McGill Johnson, <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/2020/02/11/abortion-equal-rights-amendment-113505">agreed</a>, “There are no equal rights for women without access to abortion, plain and simple.” Since the Left insists that “access” requires federal funding, the office of Rep. <a href="https://dailycaller.com/2015/01/02/steve-scalise-should-resign-right-after-obama-does/">Steve Scalise</a> (R-LA) <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/2020/02/11/abortion-equal-rights-amendment-113505">surmised</a> that the renewed ERA fight is “about eliminating federal and state life protections and ushering in an era of taxpayer funding of abortion.”
After the United States had an opportunity to digest these arguments, momentum stopped, then reversed. Although the Democrats extended the ERA’s ratification deadline, <a href="https://ohiohistorycentral.org/w/Equal_Rights_Amendment">no additional states</a> signed on, and five states rescinded their previous ratification votes: Nebraska (1973), Tennessee (1974), Idaho (1977), Kentucky (1978), and South Dakota (1979).
The debate had been had, and the Democrats lost. Many people assumed they’d heard the last of the platform-shoes-and-bell-bottoms era proposal outside reruns of “<a href="https://blog.acton.org/archives/115976-mrs-america-how-hollywood-rewrites-history.html">Mrs. America</a>.” But the Left never accepts any rejection. Now the Democrats are trying to revive a proposed amendment that went out with <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbpnAGajyMc">Dexy’s Midnight Runners</a>. Nevada ratified the long-dead ERA in 2017, followed by Illinois in 2018, and Virginia in 2020. They then proclaimed these states had pushed the moribund amendment over the finish line — never mind the five states that had withdrawn their support.
The Trump administration’s Justice Department <a href="https://floridaphoenix.com/2020/05/05/trump-and-gop-continue-to-block-adoption-of-era-equal-rights-allies-dig-in-for-another-long-fight/">ruled</a> the ratification had come too late. But its supporters said that the time limit was part of the legislation, not part of the ERA text itself, so it could be ignored. They also argued the Constitution doesn’t give states the option of rescinding support for an amendment.
The Democrats tried to sue the ERA into the Constitution and lost again. In March, U.S. District Judge Rudolph Contreras, an <a href="https://ballotpedia.org/Rudolph_Contreras">Obama appointee</a>, ruled that a “ratification deadline in a proposing resolution&#8217;s introduction is just as effective as one in the text of a proposed amendment,” so the deadline to adopt the ERA “<a href="https://abc7chicago.com/equal-rights-amendment-era-federal-judge-advocates/10395278/">expired long ago</a>.” He didn’t address whether a state can rescind its support of an amendment. The three states that ratified the ERA after the deadline <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/states-appeal-ruling-they-waited-too-long-ratify-equal-rights-n1266178">appealed</a> his decision in May. But even the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg seemed to reject their arguments. “How can you disregard states that said ‘we’ve changed our minds’?” she <a href="https://www.vox.com/2020/2/11/21133029/ruth-bader-ginsburg-equal-rights-amendment-supreme-court">asked</a> in 2020. “I would like to see a new beginning” for the ERA’s ratification, starting from scratch, she said.
With its legal fate still uncertain, the Left decided to simply declare the ERA part of the Constitution. First, in March, the House passed a resolution from retiring Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2021/03/17/politics/congress-era-deadline-joint-resolutions/index.html">retroactively repeating</a> the ERA’s 1982 ratification deadline, 222-204. Then on October 21, the House Committee on Oversight and Reform <a href="https://oversight.house.gov/legislation/hearings/the-equal-rights-amendment-achieving-constitutional-equality-for-all">held a hearing</a> where they said the ERA is part of the Constitution. This is where Alyssa Milano comes in.
The “Who’s the Boss” star <a href="https://oversight.house.gov/sites/democrats.oversight.house.gov/files/Milano%20Testimony.pdf">testified</a> before the House that the “debate is over. We won.” She then asserted that the U.S. government has an “obligation to fix the Constitution”:
<blockquote>The states have directed Congress to amend the Constitution, and it is now the duty of Congress and the Administration [sic] to get out of the way and remove the arbitrary, unnecessary, and shameful deadline that was cynically imposed nearly a half century ago as a poison pill. … The lack of Constitutional [sic] protections for anyone who is not a cisgender man is a blemish on the very idea of Americanism. … The Framers failed us when they did not include women in the Constitution. Congress failed us when it added the deadline for ratification of the ERA. You, the members of this committee, have the opportunity and the obligation to fix the constitution [sic] and stop it from failing us. </blockquote>
Her words echo Barack Obama’s <a href="https://therightswriter.com/2008/10/socialism-we-can-believe-in/">statement</a> that the U.S. Constitution “reflected the fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day.”
Still, some in attendance found them persuasive. At the end of the hearing, Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA), who represents the D.C. suburbs, <a href="https://www.wvtf.org/news/2021-10-22/one-state-lawmaker-to-congress-its-time-to-add-the-equal-rights-amendment-to-the-constitution">said</a>, “I contend based on this testimony, that the ERA is now an amendment to the Constitution duly ratified by the 38th state, the Commonwealth of Virginia.”

Actress and abortion advocate Alyssa Milano revealed last week that she struggled with feelings of guilt after having two abortions in her twenties, believing two miscarriages were a result of her abortions and later fearing that her children might be hurt for &#8220;karmic&#8221; reasons.
“I definitely had this moment of, ‘Well, I’m being punished,&#8217; basically for abortions in my twenties,” Milano told “<a href="https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/me-becoming-mom/id1586155512" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Me Becoming Mom</a>” podcast host Zoë Ruderman, Today <a href="https://www.today.com/parents/alyssa-milano-thought-miscarriages-were-result-abortions-t238030">reported</a>.
“It took a while in therapy to realize that that was something that I was putting on myself,&#8221; the 48-year-old added.
The &#8220;Charmed&#8221; actress also disclosed that she had fears that something bad might happen to her children Milo and Elizabeth due to her decision to have two children killed in utero.
“I always felt like, ‘What if something happens to these two little beings that I love so much? And is there a world in which they’re taken away from me for whatever karmic resolution needed to happen?’”
Milano revealed in 2019 that she had two abortions in one year, back in 1993.
&#8220;In 1993, I had two abortions,&#8221; Milano shared, <a href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/celebrities/2019/08/19/alyssa-milano-reveals-she-had-two-abortions-within-months-1993/2057829001/">according</a> to USAToday. &#8220;I was in love for the first time, in the breathless way you can only be in love when you are young. It was huge. … It filled every part of living. It was a joyful and exciting and powerful time in my life.&#8221;
The actress said she wanted to focus on her career and was &#8220;not ready to be a parent&#8221; and &#8220;wasn&#8217;t equipped to be a mother.&#8221;
&#8220;It was devastating. I was raised Catholic and was suddenly put in conflict with my faith. … I had a career and a future and potential. And also, I suffered from sometimes crippling anxiety.&#8221;
&#8220;I chose to have an abortion,&#8221; Milano said. &#8220;I chose. It was my choice. And it was absolutely the right choice for me. It was not an easy choice. It was not something I wanted but it was something I needed – like most health care is.&#8221;
Mere months after she had the child terminated, she found out she was pregnant again. And, again, she chose to have the baby killed.
&#8220;Once again I made the right decision to end the pregnancy.&#8221;
Showing some disconnect with her recent admissions, Milano in 2019 credited her past abortions for allowing her to have her two children Milo and Elizabeth.
&#8220;I would not have my children – my beautiful, perfect, loving, kind and inquisitive children – who have a mother who was so very, very ready for them,&#8221; she said.
Thanks to the abortions, Milano emphasized, she was able to have her &#8220;career&#8221; and build her &#8220;platform,&#8221; which she uses to promote abortion.
&#8220;I would not have my career. I would not have the ability or platform I use to fight against oppression with all my heart. … I would never had been free to be myself – and that’s what this fight is all about: freedom.&#8221;

Alyssa Milano Thought Miscarriages Were Punishment For Her Abortions, Felt Guilt

Outspoken progressive and Twitter celebrity Alyssa Milano claimed, late Tuesday, that she had been arrested at a voter rights rally outside the White House along with 23 other activists from the far-left group, People for the American Way.
Fox News reports that Milano was indeed arrested for the unauthorized demonstration in front of the White House demanding that the Biden administration pass the Freedom to Vote Act, a &#8220;voter rights&#8221; package that includes limits on gerrymandering, imposes publicly funded elections, and introduces universal vote-by-mail, postage pre-paid. It would also introduce a form of universal voter registration at age 18 and make Election Day a national holiday (though it also includes a mandatory two-week early voting window).
The legislation is not expected to pass over a Republican filibuster, but People for the American Way (PFAW) recruited 24 activists to stand on a sidewalk outside the White House without a permit, inviting action by law enforcement. Milano was among the activists.

In a post on Tuesday night, Milano said she was arrested, piggybacking off People for the American Way&#8217;s campaign.
“I was just arrested for demanding the Biden Administration and the Senate to use their mandate to protect voting rights. Stand with me and <a class="css-4rbku5 css-18t94o4 css-901oao css-16my406 r-1cvl2hr r-1loqt21 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0" dir="ltr" role="link" href="https://twitter.com/peoplefor" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">@peoplefor </a>and tell the Senate and White House that voting rights shouldn’t depend on where you live,&#8221; she said.
A United States Park Police officer did, Fox News discovered, detain Milano.
&#8220;A U.S. Park Police officer warned the protesters that they could be arrested due to laws prohibiting crowding or obstructing streets or sidewalks,&#8221; the outlet noted, <a href="https://deadline.com/2021/10/alyssa-milano-arrested-voting-rights-white-house-1234858456/">citing entertainment magazine, Deadline</a>, which added that the arrest was for a &#8220;misdemeanor law that prohibits crowding or obstructing streets or sidewalks.&#8221;
&#8220;Sgt. Roselyn Norment, public information officer for U.S. Park Police, said that &#8216;a group affiliated with a permitted demonstration obstructed pedestrian traffic on the North White House sidewalk,’” Deadline noted.
The officer said the detentions were brief; the 24 people were given citations and then released. It is not likely Milano will face any major jail time for the infraction. The law itself is controversial, <a href="https://washingtoncitypaper.com/article/325537/dc-law-against-sidewalkblocking-gets-constitutional-challenge/">according to Washington City Paper,</a> and critics have questioned whether D.C.&#8217;s prohibition against blocking sidewalks is even Constitutional.
Interestingly, the law is occasionally cited as an example of over-criminalization and criticized as unfairly enforced, ensnaring lower-income and minority residents who, unlike Milano, cannot easily recover from a brief arrest. While Milano may be able to wear her arrest as a badge of honor on social media, <a href="https://washingtoncitypaper.com/article/199996/where-the-sidewalk-ends-dcs-law-against-blocking-the-sidewalk/">Washington City Paper</a> further noted that the law can have a devastating effect on those who can ill afford an arrest on their record.
“We came back to the White House to deliver a clear message to President Biden: we need actions that match the urgency of his words on voting rights – and time is running out,” PFAW&#8217;s director said in a statement issued Tuesday night.

The pro-life law tweaking Midler effectively bans most abortions after six weeks, when an unborn baby’s heartbeat can be detected on an ultrasound.
The legislation took effect Wednesday morning after both the Supreme Court and a lower federal court of appeals refused to rule on a demand from Texas abortion providers to stay the law pending further litigation, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/texas-heartbeat-law-goes-into-effect-after-supreme-court-refuses-to-issue-emergency-stay">The Daily Wire</a> reported.
Midler is not the first celebrity to tell women to practice abstinence to stick it to pro-lifers. Back in 2019, abortion advocate and actress Alyssa Milano called for a &#8220;sex strike&#8221; in retaliation for a similar pro-life heartbeat bill in Georgia.

Midler was not alone in condemning the legislation protecting the unborn. As highlighted by <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/celebrities-outraged-pro-life-legislation-stands-in-texas-we-will-boycott-you">The Daily Wire</a>, other actresses targeted Texas and publicly supported Planned Parenthood, the nation&#8217;s largest abortion mill.
Feminist actress Patricia Arquette warned of a Hollywood “boycott,&#8221; for example. “We will not stop until women have full equal rights in every state in America. We will boycott you. We will out organize you. We will strike you,” she wrote via Twitter.
“Big Little Lies” actress Reese Witherspoon promoted Planned Parenthood in her condemnation of the pro-life legislation. 
“This ban is ridiculous and it’s part of a RECORD number of abortion restrictions passed this year. We’ve declared today a Day of Action — because it’s on all of us to step up and fight for reproductive freedom. … <a class="css-4rbku5 css-18t94o4 css-901oao css-16my406 r-1n1174f r-1loqt21 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0" role="link" href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/BansOffOurBodies?src=hashtag_click">#BansOffOurBodies</a>,” wrote Planned Parenthood.

“Two women who helped found the anti-harassment group Time’s Up during the height of the #MeToo Movement helped New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s office in drafting a letter that smeared one of his accusers and ‘impugned her credibility,’ the state attorney general said in her bombshell report Tuesday,” <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/times-up-founders-cuomo-lindsey-boylan">Fox News</a>reported.
The damning report targeting Cuomo stated that Cuomo’s top aide, Melissa DeRosa, was told by Cuomo to consult Roberta Kaplan, who co-founded the Time’s Up legal defense fund with CEO Tina Tchen, about a letter that had been drafted in response to allegations by the governor’s first accuser, former aide Lindsey Boylan.
The report noted, &#8220;According to Ms. DeRosa, Ms. Kaplan read the letter to the head of the advocacy group Times Up [Tchen], and both of them allegedly suggested that, without the statements about Ms. Boylan’s interactions with male colleagues, the letter was fine. …Ms. DeRosa reported back to the Governor that Ms. Kaplan and the head of Times Up thought the letter was okay with some changes, as did [Cuomo ally Steve] Cohen, but everyone else thought it was a bad idea.&#8221;
After being harshly criticized, Time’s Up gave a <a style="font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;" href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/politics-news/times-up-responds-cuomo-investigation-1234992138/">statement</a> to The Hollywood Reporter:
<blockquote>Before any allegations were made against Governor Cuomo, in 2019, Time’s Up worked with his administration to pass the Time’s Up/NY Safety Agenda. In December 2020, Tina was asked to give her perspective on a public response to Ms. Boylan’s allegations. … Although Tina made no recommendations as to what he should do, she shared the stance Time’s Up has always taken in these matters. She was clear that any response coming from the Governor’s office addressing the allegations would be insufficient and unacceptable if it did not acknowledge the experiences of the women who came forward, and that it should in no way shame or discredit the women.</blockquote>
In late April 2019, after Joe Biden was accused of past sexual harassment by Tara Reade, McGowan wrote, “I used to be a proud Democrat. I used to be a proud American. … Republicans have always been painted as the bad guys, and I’ve always seen them as more of a cult. But now I realize so are the Democrats and the media.”
