Smith</a> demanded answers from the U.S. government about the drones flying in the northeast, comparing it to something out of the alien invasion film “Independence Day.&#8221;
During the latest episode of “First Take,” Smith and cohost NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe were discussing the New York Giants&#8217; loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday when Sharpe made a quip about how people “might need to fly some more planes overhead.” It was a reference to fans paying to fly a banner over the stadium, demanding that the owner fix the team, as <a href="https://www.mediaite.com/sports/stephen-a-smith-demands-answers-to-drone-sightings-in-the-northeast-i-saw-independence-day-dammit/">Mediaite</a> reported.
“Let me tell you something, these damn drones in New York City,” Smith replied. “The United States government, get it together! Get it together!”
“There’s drones flying over people’s houses in Jersey and New York!” he added. “I saw Independence Day, dammit! I ain’t underestimating none of that stuff! Figure it out!”

The movie Smith referenced is a 1996 sci-fi thriller — starring Will Smith, Bill Pullman, and Jeff Goldblum — in which a group of extraterrestrials come to earth with the plan to annihilate the entire world.
A description about the movie on <a href="https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116629/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">IMDb</a> read, “The aliens are coming and their goal is to invade and destroy Earth. Fighting superior technology, mankind&#8217;s best weapon is the will to survive.”
The comments were similar to what others have been saying on social media about the unidentified drones, seen flying primarily over New Jersey, that have alarmed residents and lawmakers as the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI have said little beyond admitting they&#8217;re investigating the phenomena, as <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/unidentified-drones-entered-airspace-over-u-s-navy-weapons-station">The Daily Wire</a> previously reported. 
Fox News host Harris Faulkner recently talked about the drones, taking video and posting it on <a href="https://x.com/HARRISFAULKNER/status/1867697001741140384">X</a>. 
“JUST SAW THE MYSTERY DRONE ACTIVITY FOR MYSELF. Dusk hit moments ago and very large drones flew outside my bedroom windows,” Faulkner’s post read. “My daughter Bella ran to get her cell.”
“There are 6-8 hovering in one area now above the Hudson River,” she added. “Street traffic to the George Washington Bridge is crawling as neighbors stopping to witness this.
She later posted a message from President-elect Donald Trump, who also weighed in on the mysterious flying devices, calling on the government to let the people know what’s going on.
“NOW TRUMP: Incoming President Trump calls for telling American citizens the truth or shoot down the mystery<a href="https://x.com/hashtag/drones?src=hashtag_click"> #drones</a>,” she <a href="https://x.com/HARRISFAULKNER/status/1867706242065412447">added</a> in a second post.
“Mystery drone sightings all over country,” Trump’s post read. “Can this really be happening without our government’s knowledge. I [don’t] think so. Let the public know, and now. Otherwise [shoot] them down! DJT.”

The 77-year-old <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/entertainment">actress</a> said on the most recent <a href="https://fitness.apple.com/us/workout/time-to-walk-with-goldie-hawn/1703540260?at=11lDJ&amp;ct=1555760Xf7e8eeecd4073f4149422dc0f868c23f">episode</a> of the Apple Fitness+ series “Time to Walk” that she’s &#8220;never shared this story&#8221; before.
&#8220;That was a time when, you know, there was a lot of UFO sightings,&#8221; the “Private Benjamin” star said. &#8220;I remember this so clearly. I went outside my door, and I sat on the little ledge, and I looked up at the dark sky. And I saw all these stars. And all I could think of was, How far does this go? How little are we? Are we the only planet in the whole wide universe that has life on it?&#8221;
She said she was working as a dancer in Anaheim, California, at the time.
&#8220;I said, ‘I know you’re out there, I know we’re not alone, and I would like to meet you one day,’&#8221; Hawn continued.
The actress said several months later, she was dancing in West Covina, California, &#8220;which is very close to a desert.&#8221; She went to take a nap in a friend’s car when she got tired during a rehearsal.
&#8220;I don’t know why I said that,&#8221; Hawn said. &#8220;I don’t know why I didn’t just lie down on the bleachers.&#8221; The Academy Award winner recalled how she was just getting settled in to sleep when she heard a strange sound.
&#8220;I got this high-pitched sound in my ear,&#8221; Hawn said. &#8220;It was this high, high frequency.&#8221; She said she looked out the car window and saw &#8220;these two or three triangular-shaped heads.&#8221;
&#8220;They were silver in color, slash for a mouth, tiny little nose, no ears,&#8221; Hawn explained. &#8220;They were pointing at me, pointing at me in the car as if they were discussing me, like I was a subject. And they were droning.&#8221;
She said the experience rendered her unable to move.
&#8220;I was paralyzed,&#8221; Hawn said. &#8220;And I thought, Oh, my God. I want to get up. I didn’t know if it was real or not real.&#8221;
Eventually, she “burst out” of the state of paralysis, which she said was “like bursting out of a forcefield.&#8221; 
&#8220;Of course I go back to all the kids and stuff, and I went, ‘Oh, my God. I think I made contact with outer space,’&#8221; Hawn said.

The actress said she thought the whole thing could have been a dream until she started reading other accounts of alien encounters, many of which described the same high-pitched sound and feeling of paralysis.
&#8220;So I started looking at this as something that might be real,&#8221; Hawn said.
She later spoke with a researcher about what had happened and said revisiting the experience caused her to fall into a “trance” and remember even more details. 
“They touched my face,&#8221; Hawn said. &#8220;They touched my face, and it felt like the finger of God.&#8221;
&#8220;It was the most benevolent, loving feeling,&#8221; she went on. &#8220;This was powerful. It was filled with light.&#8221;
While discussing paranormal experiences in general, Hawn said, &#8220;We cut ourselves off from a lot of things if we&#8217;re continuing to deny something that we have no control over. There&#8217;s a lot of things in this world that we can&#8217;t see, but we can&#8217;t stop believing.&#8221;

The former Navy pilot who <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/the-10-most-incredible-exchanges-from-the-house-uap-hearing" target="_blank" rel="noopener">testified</a> in front of U.S. Congress during the much-anticipated hearing on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) over the summer called the display of two so-called non-human alien corpses in a Mexican congressional hearing &#8220;a huge step backwards for this issue.&#8221;
Mexico&#8217;s Congress made global headlines on Tuesday after alleged experts who study extraterrestrials unveiled 1,000-year-old &#8220;alien corpses&#8221; nestled in a glass display during its first hearing on UFOs.
But Ryan Graves, the former Navy pilot and Americans for Safe Aerospace executive director who appeared in the first U.S. congressional public hearing investigating reported military encounters with alleged crafts of non-human origins since the 1960s, said in an X-post following the hearing that the spectacle &#8220;disappointed&#8221; him.
&#8220;After the U.S. Congressional UFO hearing, I accepted an invitation to testify before the Mexican Congress hoping to keep up the momentum of government interest in pilot experiences with UAP,&#8221; Graves said. &#8220;Unfortunately, yesterday&#8217;s demonstration was a huge step backwards for this issue.&#8221;
&#8220;My testimony centered on sharing my experience and the UAP reports I hear from commercial and military aircrew through ASA&#8217;s witness program. Graves was one of three witnesses who addressed the House Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs during the hearing on UAPs in late July. He was joined by Retired Navy Commander David Fravor and decorated military veteran and intelligence official-turned-whistleblower David Grusch.
During sworn testimony before Congress, Grusch, an Air Force veteran and former National Geospatial Intelligence Agency member, said he is aware of where the U.S. government is allegedly covertly keeping UAPs.

Grusch claimed he knows the &#8220;exact locations&#8221; based on interviews of &#8220;over 40 witnesses over four years&#8221; when asked about UFOs, the popular term used to describe UAPs. Though Grusch declared that he was limited in what he could disclose publicly, he stated that the locations had been provided to the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) and &#8220;some&#8221; to the congressional intelligence panels.
The Department of Defense released a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/the-ufo-hearing-is-over-whats-next" target="_blank" rel="noopener">statement</a> insisting that its All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), which has been tasked with investigating UFOs, &#8220;has not discovered any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials have existed in the past or exist currently.&#8221; In addition, AARO Director Sean Kirkpatrick said the hearing was &#8220;insulting&#8221; to members of his team.
Mexico held a similar hearing on Tuesday that featured Mexican journalist and ufologist Jaime Maussan, who testified under oath that the creatures recovered near Peru&#8217;s ancient Nazca Lines were &#8220;non-human beings that are not part of our terrestrial evolution,&#8221; according to <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/world/journalist-presents-mexican-congress-alleged-non-human-alien-corpses-ufo-hearing-not-alone" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fox News</a>.
Maussan also reportedly said that Autonomous National University of Mexico researchers analyzed two corpses that were approximately 1,000 years old.
&#8220;These aren&#8217;t beings that were found after a UFO wreckage,&#8221; Maussan said. &#8220;They were found in diatom mines and were later fossilized.&#8221;
&#8220;Whether they are aliens or not, we don&#8217;t know, but they were intelligent, and they lived with us,&#8221; he added. &#8220;They should rewrite history.… We are not alone in this vast universe. We should embrace this reality.&#8221;
The Independent <a href="https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/alien-corpses-in-mexico-found-congress-ufo-b2411144.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> that Maussan has previously made claims of &#8220;alien&#8221; discoveries that have since been debunked, including five mummies found in Peru in 2017 that turned out to be the remains of human children.
Peruvian Culture Minister Leslie Urteaga told <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/alien-bodies-presented-mexican-congress-panned-stunt-2023-09-14/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Reuters</a> that South America&#8217;s scientific institutions have not identified the remains displayed during the Mexico&#8217;s UFO hearing as non-human and said that the Ministry of Culture has filed a criminal complaint against Maussan and his associates.
&#8220;I am going to ask for information to see what has happened &#8230; about the removal of pre-Hispanic objects, because I understand they are part of pre-Hispanic bone remains,&#8221; she said.
Maussan told the outlet on Thursday that his claims have not been countered.
&#8220;What they want is to take away the force that this discovery has, but only with testimonies, with questioning and without a single piece of evidence,&#8221; Maussan said. &#8220;We have been doing investigations for years&#8230; they want to come here to investigate with just talk.&#8221;

A Harvard physicist professor cited remnants from a meteor-like object to claim that they could have come from outside our solar system.
Professor Avi Loeb and a team of researchers retrieved roughly 700 tiny metallic spheres from an impact zone about 85 kilometers north of Manus Island, Papua New Guinea. According to composition analysis executed by Stein Jacobsen and his team at Harvard University, 57 reportedly contain compositions that don’t match man-made or natural alloys.
“This is a historic discovery because it represents the first time that humans put their hand on materials from a large object that arrived to Earth from outside the solar system,” Loeb said on Tuesday.
“I was thrilled when Stein Jacobsen reported to me about it based on the results in his laboratory,” Loeb told <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-12456979/First-alien-object-recovered-Earth-Harvard-Avi-Loeb-says-hundreds-tiny-fragments-bottom-Pacific-Ocean-outside-solar-system.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Daily Mail</a>. “Stein is a highly conservative and professional geochemist with a worldwide reputation. He had no bias or agenda whatsoever and expected to find familiar spherules with solar system composition. But the data showed something new, never reported in the scientific literature. Science is guided by evidence.”
“For now, we wanted to check whether the materials are from outside the solar system,” he continued. “The success of the expedition illustrates the value of taking risks in science despite all odds as an opportunity for discovering new knowledge.”
According to Loeb’s non-peer reviewed<a href="https://lweb.cfa.harvard.edu/~loeb/Interstellar_Expedition.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> study</a>, the spherules contain beryllium, lanthanum and uranium, referred to in the study as “BeLaU.” “The ‘BeLaU’ abundance pattern is not found in control regions outside of IM1’s path and does not match commonly manufactured alloys or natural meteorites in the solar system,” the study theorized. “We suggest that the ‘BeLaU’ abundance pattern could have originated from a highly differentiated magma ocean of a planet with an iron core outside the solar system or from more exotic sources.”
The expedition to the South Pacific was announced back in January, with Loeb explaining the reasons for the trip in a post on Medium.
“Within a couple of months, I will be leading an expedition to collect the fragments of the first interstellar meteor,” Loeb <a href="https://avi-loeb.medium.com/we-are-going-to-visit-the-first-interstellar-meteor-8cf498d4d6fc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote</a> in January. “This meteor is the first near-Earth object ever detected by humans from outside the solar system. We have a dream team, including some of the most experienced and qualified professionals in ocean expeditions. We have complete design and manufacturing plans for the required sled, magnets, collection nets and mass spectrometer.”

On Wednesday, the House Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs held the much anticipated hearing on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP).
Two of the three witnesses who addressed the Committee under oath were former Navy pilot and Americans for Safe Aerospace executive director Ryan Graves, and Retired Navy Commander David Fravor. The third witness was whistleblower David Grusch, a decorated military veteran and intelligence official who served in Afghanistan and formerly worked at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Grusch was the National Reconnaissance Office’s (NRO) representative to the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force beginning in 2019.
While certain responses couldn&#8217;t be provided in an open session under threat of legal action, and would require David Grusch to enter a SCIF (secure compartmented information facility) with members of Congress, during the portion of the hearing in which representatives questioned the witnesses, several extraordinary exchanges still stood out.

One of the more explosive questions came when Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) asked David Grusch if he knew of anyone who had been “harmed or injured in efforts to cover up or conceal &#8230; extraterrestrial technology.”

Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) asked Grusch if he believed the federal government has retrieved non-human craft, and where they might be stored.
Grusch responded that he does believe the government is in possession of craft, based on interviews with 40 witnesses, and that he knows “the exact locations and those locations were provided to the Inspector General.”
He added: “I actually had the people with the firsthand knowledge provide a protected disclosure to the Inspector General.”

The biggest debate at The Daily Wire is not over gender, the 2024 presidential race, or immigration. It is, instead, over aliens.
Some people believe that aliens are real. E.T. comes down, abducts people, and prowls around like a little green man. Then other people are correct — observers who know it is fake. It&#8217;s not real.
We are not alone in the universe, but as far as corporeal beings with rational souls go, we are alone. When people see these unidentified flying objects and encounter little green men, they are most likely talking to demons.
People make fun of me for this. But the reason people make fun of me for this point of view is because they are “moderns.” They are modern secular libs. Aliens are just demons for modern lib people who cannot imagine there is such a thing as metaphysical reality. They are for people who are materialists, people who think that everything that’s real must be flesh and blood, which is not true. Some of the most important things in life are not material: hopes, dreams, love, mathematics, and plenty of things that are metaphysical, such as moral order.
But we have convinced ourselves in this sophisticated day and age that everything must be physical. So, even the celestial beings have to be physical. They can&#8217;t be merely spiritual.
This brings me to a man by the name of Luis Elizondo, a former intelligence agent with the Department of Defense. He claims he was the director of the Pentagon&#8217;s UFO program from 2010 to 2017, which Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has confirmed.
In an interview from two years ago, Elizondo says an official whom he tremendously respected told him not to pursue and look into these extraterrestrial beings because they already knew what it was. Elizondo assumed it was our own technology, but when he asked that, the official told him, no, they are demonic, and “we should not be pursuing them.”
That’s correct. That is what these are. The aliens are demonic.
Now, Elizondo disagreed with the more senior Pentagon official and believed they did need to investigate it, get the data, and probe for more information. He wanted to find out what was going on. But my question is, why?
Why do we need to do that? Curiosity is not a virtue. If we recall the words of Hamlet, “There is more in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy” — and certainly the desiccated modern philosophy that ignores metaphysical things.
If there were — which there is not — a super race of extremely intelligent, extraterrestrials coming for us who can cross the galaxy, move faster than the speed of lightning, outsmart our technology with their own advancements, then we would not beat them. That would be like a squirrel who tries to beat an army of human beings. And if they&#8217;re demons, then we should want nothing to do with them.
There is spiritual reality.
We are body and soul. We are highly morphic composite beings with rational souls. That&#8217;s why we have an appetite; we eat food and drink water to sustain ourselves. But man does not live by bread alone, and we can use our abstract reason and moral judgment to think about things like justice, art, culture, or opera. We can do both.
Certain beings, however, are purely physical and do not have a rational soul, such as a rock. Even the animals don&#8217;t have abstract reason, which is why we don&#8217;t put them on trial. We don&#8217;t put a dog on trial when he bites someone. And then opposite that, there are different beings that are metaphysical. Ideas are metaphysical, and angels and demons are metaphysical too. Everyone has known this for all of history until the arrival of modern, Western, liberal, secular people 100 years ago.
So, if they are demons, then as C.S. Lewis pointed out, the right attitude is to know that they exist and be on guard. They try to prey on souls, tear you down to hell, and give you a bad eternity, but we shouldn&#8217;t be too curious about them.
That’s how I feel about aliens — or really, demons, as even the Pentagon admits.

In a now-viral podcast interview with Fox News host <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/tucker-carlson" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tucker Carlson</a>, the primetime news anchor said a Stanford professor told him that federal officials tasked the educator with investigating several cases of troops dying from traumatic brain injuries caused by UFOs.
Carlson shared the story during a &#8220;Full Send Podcast&#8221; interview last week, where he claimed an unidentified tenured Stanford Medical professor, who specializes in traumatic brain injuries, reached out to his team requesting to appear on the Fox News show to talk about a decade-old conversation between him and the U.S. government.
&#8220;He&#8217;s like, 11 years ago, the U.S. government reached out to me because I&#8217;m an expert on head injuries on brain injuries … traumatic brain injuries … as a physician,&#8221; Carlson said. &#8220;And they had all these court cases from families of U.S. servicemen — over 100 — who had been killed by UFOs. And the Department of Defense was refusing to give them death benefits or medical benefits.&#8221;
According to Carlson, the anonymous source said he was an expert researcher and witness who claimed nuclear energy appears to attract UFOs in such cases.
&#8220;For example, UFOs appear to be attracted, for whatever reason to nuclear energy,&#8221;Carlson said. &#8220;So at nuclear missile bases in the Upper Midwest, for example, nuclear powered aircraft carriers, nuclear powered submarines are all getting buzzed by these objects, including underwater.&#8221;
&#8220;And in a number of cases, these things have landed on military bases … servicemen have approached them … and they approach, and they get a traumatic brain injury, brain damage, or they&#8217;re killed,&#8221; Carlson said.
Carlson said there are dozens of open court cases that support the claim.

Defense Department spokesperson Susan Gough told <a href="https://www.militarytimes.com/off-duty/military-culture/2023/03/16/tucker-carlson-shares-bizarre-tale-of-troops-dying-from-ufo-encounters/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Military Times</a>, &#8220;the story is false.&#8221;
Carlson, however, told the podcast hosts that if he ever encountered such objects or extra-terrestrial life, he would interview the unknown from a distance.
&#8220;I&#8217;d be super respectful,&#8221; he said, adding, &#8220;whatever is coming off these machines is very bad for the human body.&#8221;
UFO headlines have been circulating throughout the news media over the last few months after U.S. officials shot down four objects over North America this month, including a Chinese spy balloon off the coast of South Carolina and three similar objects in Alaska, Michigan, and Canada.
Following the response from federal officials, top Biden administration officials briefed senators on both sides of the aisle about the flying objects, which left lawmakers with more questions than answers, while demanding the government should disclose what was said during the classified meeting.
Pentagon officials said in a <a href="https://lweb.cfa.harvard.edu/~loeb/LK1.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">draft document</a> last week that a dominant artificial interstellar object could be releasing many small probes toward Earth.
&#8220;These &#8216;dandelion seeds&#8217; could be separated from the parent craft by the tidal gravitational force of the Sun or by a maneuvering capability,&#8221; the report read.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre mysteriously rematerialized at the briefing room podium on Monday to continue her daily campaign of disinformation, but before she handed the microphone over to another government disinformer, she had one final nugget of propaganda to deliver.
&#8220;And one last thing before I turn it over to the admiral. I just wanted to make sure we address this from the White House. I know there have been questions and concerns about this, but there is no — again, no indication of aliens or extraterrestrial activity — (laughter) — with these recent takedowns,&#8221; she said, according to the official <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/press-briefings/2023/02/13/press-briefing-by-press-secretary-karine-jean-pierre-and-national-security-council-coordinator-for-strategic-communications-john-kirby-february-13-2023/">transcript</a>.
&#8220;Again, there is no indication of aliens or [extra]terrestrial activity with these recent takedowns. Wanted to make sure that the American people knew that, all of you knew that. And it was important for us to say that from here because we’ve been hearing a lot about it.&#8221;
The &#8220;journalists&#8221; in the room yukked it up.
&#8220;Are you disappointed by that?&#8221; one reporter probed (clearly exactly what an alien would ask).
&#8220;I — I’m not — (laughter) —,&#8221; KJP said. A dead giveaway!
&#8220;Would you tell us if there were, really?&#8221;
&#8220;I’m just — you know, I loved &#8216;E.T.,&#8217; the movie. But I’m gon — I’m just going to leave it there. (Laughter.) With that, with all seriousness, I know there’s a lot of questions about the flying objects,&#8221; the alien spokesman said.
So there it is, definitive proof that there are aliens. The government lies about everything, and they&#8217;ve just said there are no aliens, so clearly, there are aliens.
But wait. Over the weekend, U.S. Air Force General Glen VanHerck (a made-up alien name if we&#8217;ve ever heard one) refused to rule out the possibility that the three objects shot down over North American airspace over the last few weeks were extraterrestrial, informing reporters the military does not currently know exactly what they are or even how they stay afloat.
“I’m not going to categorize them as balloons. We’re calling them objects for a reason,” VanHerck said in a press conference. “I’m not able to categorize how they stay aloft. It could be a gaseous type of balloon inside a structure or it could be some type of a propulsion system. But clearly, they’re — they’re able to stay aloft.”
A reporter asked if the Pentagon can rule out extraterrestrial activity as a source of the objects they shot down, and VanHerck answered, &#8220;I haven’t ruled out anything at this point.&#8221;
So if he&#8217;s lying, then there aren&#8217;t aliens. Unless even that is all part of the misdirection.
This much we do know. The Pentagon&#8217;s office for investigating potential UFO sightings received 366 reports in 2022. A preliminary <a href="https://www.npr.org/2021/06/25/1010382563/the-truth-is-still-out-there-report-says-it-didnt-find-evidence-ufos-were-aliens">report</a> released in June 2021 listed just 144 reports &#8212; covering a 17-year period. So, reports of UFOs have exploded. Of the 366 reports last year, the office was able to explain more than half of those events, but they&#8217;ve got no clue what the rest were.
In a year-end press <a href="https://www.defense.gov/News/Transcripts/Transcript/Article/3249303/usdis-ronald-moultrie-and-dr-sean-kirkpatrick-media-roundtable-on-the-all-domai/">conference</a>, a reporter asked if any evidence collected &#8220;shows any one of these anomalies is a space alien.&#8221;
&#8220;At this time, the answer&#8217;s no, we have nothing,&#8221; said Ronald Moultrie, the undersecretary of defense for intelligence and security. He later added, &#8220;We have not seen anything that would &#8230; lead us to believe that any of the objects that we have seen are of alien origin, if you will.&#8221;
So, obviously, more evidence that the aliens are here.
Back at the White House, James Rosen, chief correspondent for Newsmax who has covered the White House for 187 years (possible alien, maybe a vampire), was the only reporter in the room to follow up on the denial of aliens.
&#8220;My understanding is that the top officials in the Pentagon, when asked explicitly if they were ruling out any kind of extraterrestrial presence, said they weren’t ruling anything out. And yet, at the beginning of today’s briefing, albeit with her usual winning smile, Ms. Jean-Pierre seemed to rule out any extraterrestrial activity,&#8221; Rosen said of the animatronically alien spokesman.
&#8220;I don’t think the American people need to worry about aliens, with respect to these craft. Period. I don’t think there’s any more that needs to be said there,&#8221; National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby said in a robotic voice.
By the way, the most famous Kirby in the universe hails from the distant Planet Popstar (check it out, it&#8217;s real).

But again, isn&#8217;t that exactly what an alien would say? Nothing to see here, move along. And what&#8217;s with that last part of his sentence &#8212; &#8220;I don’t think the American people need to worry about aliens &#8212; with respect to these craft&#8221;?
So now we know: When the government says there are no aliens, there are aliens. Now, maybe the White House can explain its claim that the price of everything going up is actually good for Americans. Just remember, whatever they say, don&#8217;t believe them.

The host of &#8220;The Joe Rogan Experience&#8221; podcast shared with his 16.3 million followers that it hadn&#8217;t even crossed his mind that the flying objects that have been shot down over the United States and Canada air space were tied to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/aliens">aliens</a>, until the White House insisted they were not.

The comments from the White House come after National Security Council spokesperson <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/john-kirby">John Kirby</a> said that the flying objects didn&#8217;t appear to be connected to the Chinese airship that crossed U.S. airspace earlier this month that was later shot down, the outlet noted.
He also stressed that the U.S. has &#8220;no reason&#8221; to believe that the shot-down objects were &#8220;conducting surveillance of any kind,&#8221; but made clear that they couldn&#8217;t rule out the possibility yet.

Cage explained to <a href="https://ramp.space/en/issue/by-the-way" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rampstyle</a> magazine that his younger self was so entirely convinced that he was an alien that a simple trip to the doctor&#8217;s office — and a view inside his own body — had once delivered a massive paradigm shift.

Cage then explained that the feeling of being alien — along with a little inspiration from late artist David Bowie — led him toward acting.

Cage is no stranger to finding himself in the middle of, well, strange stories — it was revealed in a New York Post <a href="https://nypost.com/2022/03/23/nicolas-cages-wild-menagerie-included-a-two-headed-snake/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">article</a> published earlier this year that the Oscar-winning actor had once owned a two-headed snake and enjoyed the fact that his pet crow insulted him when he left the room.
The &#8220;National Treasure&#8221; actor explained he had bought the two-headed reptile for $80,000 after dreaming about an eagle with two heads — but because the two heads fought over food, he eventually donated it to the Audubon Zoo.
&#8220;Both heads were fully functional and capable of swallowing. We had to take turns feeding each head and place a rubber spatula between the heads to prevent one head from fighting over the other head’s food,&#8221; Robert Mendyk, curator of herpetology at the zoo, explained to the Post.

A <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/harvard" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Harvard</a> astrophysicist is organizing an archeological expedition to the South <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/pacific-ocean" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pacific</a> in search of a possible <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/aliens" target="_blank" rel="noopener">alien</a> probe.
Professor Abraham &#8220;Avi&#8221; Loeb <a href="https://www.news.com.au/national/ive-got-news-for-you/podcast/addc2b261d7ffa5efaf36d1dc52803c0" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> Tuesday that he had received $1.5 million in funding to lead an expedition to Papua New Guinea (PNG), an island north of Australia, to scope the ocean floor for a 2014 meteor that crashed into the ocean which he suspects may be of alien origin.
“The fundamental question is whether it was an unusual rock from another star, or was it a spacecraft,” Loeb <a href="https://nypost.com/2022/11/16/harvard-professor-avi-loeb-to-search-for-crashed-alien-technology/?utm_medium=SocialFlow&amp;utm_campaign=SocialFlow&amp;utm_source=NYPTwitter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> during an episode of the “I’ve Got News For You” podcast. “We’re planning an expedition to Papua New Guinea and scoop the ocean floor and figure out the composition of this object.”
Some believe that the object, which was officially identified as an interstellar meteor by the U.S. government, could be some kind of an alien probe. The object is said to be the first confirmed object known to have crashed into Earth from another solar system.
Loeb’s expedition to PNG, a former Australian colony, will head to the nation’s Manus Island, where the object went down in the waters around the island. Manus Island was also the location for many years of an Australian detention center for migrants.

The trip will take place in March or April 2023 as the researchers hope to find the object in order to better understand its composition. They will be using giant magnets to comb the Pacific floor where the meteor is believed to have crashed.
In 2017, another object, known as the ​​Oumuamua, or “messenger sent from the distant past,” slingshotted around the sun. At the time, it was the <a class="c-link" tabindex="-1" href="https://www.vice.com/en/article/g5vd4w/alien-hunting-astronomer-says-there-may-be-a-second-interstellar-object-on-earth-in-new-study" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" data-stringify-link="https://www.vice.com/en/article/g5vd4w/alien-hunting-astronomer-says-there-may-be-a-second-interstellar-object-on-earth-in-new-study" data-sk="tooltip_parent" data-remove-tab-index="true">first known</a> interstellar object to pass through our solar system — before speculation from Loeb and later confirmation from the government about the 2014 meteor.
“And then with my student a couple of years later, we found that actually four years before Oumuamua there was a meteor that was discovered by the U.S. government, which moved really fast at 28 miles per second, disintegrated in the lower atmosphere of the Earth about 100 miles off the coast of Papua New Guinea, and it came from outside the solar system,” he said.
Loeb, who is in charge of Harvard’s UFO-research dedicated Galileo Program, added that the light curve of the meteor demonstrated that it was composed of something stronger than iron and most other space rocks studied by the government.

Due to the fact that the nearest star to Earth is more than 25 trillion miles away and the fact it would take millions of years to reach the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy, Loeb claims that any alien civilization would likely send a probe instead of attempting a journey itself due to the “hazardous conditions of space.”
“I call these AI astronauts and most likely we will see gadgets that are very intelligent; they might be well ahead of what we have,” he said. “It might take us a while to figure out what they really are doing here and what they’re seeking, but at the same time we can distinguish them from rocks, natural objects like meteors falling on Earth.”
The scientist added that he had promised to ensure that any “gadget” found at the bottom of the ocean would go to a museum, and not end up with the government. “Because it would represent modernity for us, even though it represents ancient history for the senders,” he said.
Speculation about otherworldly beings crashing near PNG is not the first time the island has been <a href="https://www.abc.net.au/news/2004-03-12/png-hunts-giant-mystery-creature/150454" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shrouded</a> in mystery. In 2004, police scoured remote areas of the island with M-16s and machetes after locals reported a “dinosaur” sighting. The animal apparently had the tail of a crocodile and the head of a dog.

Scientists believe that the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/james-webb-telescope">James Webb Telescope</a> and other next generation telescopes could allow them to detect unique signatures of alien life forms in the atmospheres of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/nasa-finds-planets-may-contain-life-hank-berrien">extrasolar planets</a>.
Scientists have long speculated about the possibility of extraterrestrial life, and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/aliens">aliens</a> have captured the public imagination to become a mainstay of popular culture and science fiction. Earth is, as of now, the only known home of life in the universe.
Many astronomers have suggested that life may have emerged on other bodies in our solar system, such as <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/mars">Mars</a> and <a href="https://www.forbes.com/sites/jamiecartereurope/2022/05/02/jupiters-moon-europa-may-have-shallow-water-and-an-earth-like-ocean-where-life-could-exist-say-scientists/?sh=1e7aa8cb4d42">Europa</a>, one of Jupiter’s four Galilean moons, due to the presence or possible presence of liquid water. However, verifying these claims is extremely difficult — with no readily apparent biosphere probes that would have to be sent across millions of miles to collect physical samples for further study.
Astronomers <a href="https://www.space.com/james-webb-space-telescope-exoplanet-atmospheres-explained">increasingly believe</a> that the first signs of alien life will be found beyond the Solar System, on exoplanets orbiting other stars. <a href="https://blogs.scientificamerican.com/observations/who-really-discovered-the-first-exoplanet/">Since the 1990s</a>, scientists have discovered <a href="https://exoplanets.nasa.gov/">over 5,000</a> exoplanets, and theoretical models suggest that there are far, far more, with some estimates claiming that there could be at least <a href="https://www.technologyreview.com/2020/11/06/1011784/half-milky-way-sun-like-stars-home-earth-like-planets-kepler-gaia-habitable-life/">300 million</a> habitable planets in our galaxy.
While sending probes to these planets will be impossible for the foreseeable future, observing light that has interacted with the planet could <a href="https://www.pnas.org/doi/full/10.1073/pnas.1304213111">reveal telltale signs</a> of complex life. Different substances absorb and reflect different wavelengths of light, which is why our eyes perceive them as being different colors. Chlorophyll in plants is green, for example, because it absorbs energy-intensive blue light and abundant red light emitted by our Sun, reflecting the less useful green light in the visible spectrum and maximizing the amount of energy available for photosynthesis.
The light reflected off planets is a minuscule fraction of the light emitted by their star, which makes extrasolar planets almost impossible to observe directly, however, when an exoplanet <a href="http://www.exoplanetes.umontreal.ca/transit-method/?lang=en">passes directly in front</a> of its host star, the resulting “eclipse” blocks out a small fraction of the star’s rays. By closely observing a star over a sufficient period of time, astronomers can determine the orbital period of the planet, as well as its radius. When paired with the <a href="https://www.planetary.org/articles/color-shifting-stars-the-radial-velocity-method">‘radial velocity’</a> method, which observes the minute gravitational pull a planet exerts on its host star, astronomers can estimate the mass, density, and surface gravity of a planet with a high degree of confidence, and by observing the spectrum of light being absorbed and reflected by a planet during transit, they can get an idea about the chemical composition of its surface and atmosphere.

The James Webb Telescope, a successor to NASA’s famed Hubble Telescope that took three decades and $10 billion to make, was launched in December of 2021 and transmitted its first images in July of 2022. With a higher resolution and greater sensitivity than Hubble and other, older models, the Webb Telescope, which has already <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-nasa-releases-the-deepest-sharpest-infrared-photo-of-the-universe-ever-from-space-telescope">dazzled the world</a> with its remarkably detailed images, represents a major step forward in the study of our universe. <a href="https://www.nasa.gov/feature/ames/tiny-dust-could-yield-big-answers-under-webb-telescope-s-gaze">According to</a> Christiaan Boersma, an astronomer at NASA’s Ames Research Center, “We’ll be able to see details — better details — on smaller scales than ever before.”
The presence of certain gasses is not definitive proof that a given planet is habitable; the Webb telescope has already taken a reading of the gas giant <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2022/07/12/science/wasp-96b-exoplanet-webb-telescope.html">WASP-96b</a> and found large amounts of water vapor, but scientists have good reason to believe the planet is inhospitable. Webb is also not built for discovering exoplanets and is unable to detect free oxygen — one of the strongest possible signs of life.
Despite these limitations, Webb has already proven that it can provide detailed information on many of the key questions surrounding the potential habitability of planets, and if all the stars align, scientists might find a match. The satellite is in high demand by researchers, but is already scheduled to turn its gaze toward <a href="https://www.space.com/36349-trappist-1e-just-right-for-life.html">TRAPPIST-1e</a>, an Earth-like planet orbiting a star 39 light years away from our own. If all goes well, in the coming months scientists could discover extraterrestrial life less than 12 parsecs away.
