President Donald Trump on Friday evening hinted at what’s to come when the War Department releases files relating to UFOs and phenomena of unknown origin.
Speaking at a Turning Point USA event in Phoenix, Trump said: “As you remember, I recently directed the Secretary of War — how good is Pete Hegseth doing, by the way — to begin releasing government files relating to UFOs and unexplained aerial phenomena.”
The president then remarked on how excited the crowd became, saying, “I figured this was a good crowd because I know you people are really into that. I don’t know if I am.”
“So, I’m pleased to report today — I thought I’d save it for this crowd because you’re a little out there — that this process is well underway and we’ve found many very interesting documents, I must say,” Trump continued. “And the first releases will begin very, very soon.”

The hype train for the release of documents and media related to what the United States government knows about UFOs and advanced technology has been gaining steam for months.
Trumps’s executive order on <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-orders-release-of-any-and-all-info-on-aliens-and-ufos">February 19</a> directed the War Department and other agencies to “begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters.”
In the wake of the president’s order, several congresspeople who have been involved with UFO disclosure efforts applied pressure to the administration to follow through.
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), for example, sent <a href="https://oversight.house.gov/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/UAP-Request-Letter-FINAL.pdf">a letter</a> to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth requesting the disclosure of 46 known videos believed to be in possession of the U.S. government. She gave an April 14 deadline, but the date came and went without the videos being released.
All of this comes in the wake of several blockbuster congressional hearings since 2023 featuring seemingly credible witnesses to UFOs and alleged non-human tech — and even living organisms.
In March, the federal government <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/03/18/us-news/white-house-registers-aliens-gov-domain-name/">registered</a> alien.gov and aliens.gov — likely in preparation for the publication of files.
The Trump administration appears poised to make some kind of release. While it&#8217;s impossible to know with any certainty what documents, photographs, and footage may be published and if they will impact the public&#8217;s perception of the topic in any significant way, the momentum is certainly on the side of transparency and disclosure.

“I can tell you he gave classified information, he’s not supposed to be doing that,” said Trump when asked by Fox News&#8217; Peter Doocy about Obama’s remarks while aboard Air Force One.
“He made a big mistake. He took it out of classified information,” said Trump without affirming or denying the existence of extraterrestrial life.
&#8220;No, I don&#8217;t have an opinion on it. I never talk about it,&#8221; Trump continued. &#8220;A lot of people do. A lot of people believe it.&#8221;
&#8220;Do you believe it, Peter?&#8221; Trump said, returning the question back to Doocy, who responded in kind.

Obama made the comments in question during a recent appearance on the left-leaning “No Lie with Brian Tyler Cohen” podcast — and in addition to confirming the existence of extraterrestrial life, Obama revealed that to his knowledge, there were no aliens being kept in underground bunkers at Area 51. He also admitted that he had not personally seen any aliens.
“They’re real, but I haven’t seen them,” the former president told Cohen. “They&#8217;re not being kept in &#8230; Area 51. There&#8217;s no underground facility unless there&#8217;s this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the President of the United States.”

That’s a funny answer. But Cohen just moves on. 
Brian Tyler Cohen has set the new gold standard for incompetence at interviewing. There&#8217;s no follow-up. 
A president of the United States declares that aliens are real, and Cohen decides to not follow up on it. Oh, how do you know that? How do you know aliens are real?
Obama has now come out <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/barack-obama-clarifies-seen-no-evidence-aliens-saying-real-rcna259232">to clarify</a> his statement, offering a whole lot of liberal nonsense about the distance between solar systems:

Liberals always say things like this — the solar system is so large, statistically there has to be intelligent life elsewhere in the universe.
But they never explain why that is. Because in order to ascertain the probability of something, you have to know how that thing came about in the first place. You have to know something, anything, about that thing. And at the level of pure nature, we don&#8217;t.
Now from a theological and anthropological level, I think we do know. But from the point of view of nature, we do not know how life came about. We don&#8217;t know, for instance, how one goes from inorganic to organic matter. There have been a zillion theories over the years, and none of them have been proven, but some of them have been disproven. 
So the argument that the universe is really, really big actually does not imply that there is intelligent life — or life of any kind anywhere else.
But the reason that the libs love aliens is because the existence of aliens diminishes the distinction of human beings. It makes us less special. That&#8217;s usually their explicit argument.
They say things like, What, you think you&#8217;re so special? A universe that&#8217;s eight gazillion bajillion miles wide and expanding, with countless worlds — you think you&#8217;re so special?
And my answer — and I believe the Christian answer — is yes, I think we’re pretty special.
The deeper reason the libs always promote aliens is because it diminishes the Incarnation. Because Christ is a man, because God becomes a man. He doesn&#8217;t become E.T., he doesn&#8217;t become a gazelle. He becomes a man, and he raises our very humanity to inestimable dignity.

And the libs (and demons) want to diminish that. Satan falls from heaven because he can&#8217;t bow down to a man. Basically that&#8217;s what&#8217;s at the heart of this. I&#8217;m not saying that all the libs who promote the alien stuff are actively working with demons. I&#8217;m not. I really am not. I don&#8217;t see demons under every rock. But it is curious that so much of liberalism comes down to a prideful attempt to exalt man above his station and ends by degrading man below his station.
It begins by this notion that we&#8217;ll have no kings or priests. Man will only be free when the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest. We&#8217;re just humanists now. We&#8217;re going to raise humanity up. We&#8217;re going to maximize individual autonomy.
And then what&#8217;s the end of it? The end of it is we degrade ourselves. We pretend that we&#8217;re just sacks of meat that exist only for pleasure. We promote things like abortion, slaughtering babies, and degrading humanity. We promote things like suicide, slaughtering ourselves, again degrading humanity.
We reduce ourselves below the station to which we&#8217;ve been raised. No surprise there. So when Obama says, look, I&#8217;m clarifying, I don&#8217;t see any evidence of aliens — I think he&#8217;s probably being honest here. I think his knee-jerk reaction of, well, of course aliens exist, the certainty in that just comes from his liberalism: we have to be — humans aren&#8217;t special. You think you&#8217;re so special?
But we are. We are actually.
It&#8217;s actually a harder truth. It is a more realistic view, but it&#8217;s more difficult, and it entails more responsibility to say yes, we are special. It&#8217;s kind of weird, right, that we, among all of the created things, have rational wills. Isn&#8217;t that kind of weird that we can conceive of abstract things? Unlike every animal and plant and all organic matter on Earth? We are finite and mortal, we die — but we have this immortal, eternal aspect to ourselves because we can reason.
Isn&#8217;t that kind of weird that nothing else that we&#8217;ve ever encountered or really even can conceive of has that combination of flesh and reason and will?
That makes us kind of special.
You are special, believe it or not.

Former President Barack Obama said over the weekend that aliens are “real,” though he admitted he “hasn’t seen them.”
Obama <a href="https://barackobama.medium.com/my-conversation-with-brian-tyler-cohen-e25cac125f44">confirmed</a> the existence of extraterrestrial life during an <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uI-hgSE5QIw">interview</a> with podcaster Brian Tyler Cohen that aired on Saturday. At the beginning of a “lightning round” of questions, Cohen asked the president directly about the existence of aliens.
“They’re real, but I haven’t seen them, and they’re not being kept in” Area 51, the former president said. “There’s no underground facility, unless there’s this enormous conspiracy, and they hid it from the President of the United States.”
Obama also jokingly said that the question on extraterrestrial life was the first question he wanted answered when he became president.
Saturday’s interview is not the first time Obama has spoken about issues related to extraterrestrials. In 2021, the former president confirmed the existence of UFOs, or unidentified flying objects. UFOs are commonly associated with aliens, though they could have more earthly explanations as well.
“What is true, and I’m actually being serious here, is that there is footage and records of objects in the skies that we don’t know exactly what they are,” he <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/barack-obama-admits-ufos-exist-we-dont-know-exactly-what-they-are">said</a> during an appearance on CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden.”
“We can’t explain how they move, their trajectory,” he said. “They did not have an easily explainable pattern. And so, I think that people still take seriously trying to investigate and figure out what that is.”
Obama also addressed the issue of aliens in 2021, though at the time he declined to say whether or not they exist.
“When it comes to aliens, there are some things I just can’t tell you on air,” Obama said at the time.
“Look, the truth is that when I came into office, I asked,” he continued. “I was like, ‘All right, is there the lab somewhere where we’re keeping the alien specimens and spaceships?’”
“They did a little bit of research … and the answer was, ‘no,’” he said.

Scientists announced yesterday the strongest evidence yet for possible alien life after detecting gases in a distant planet&#8217;s atmosphere that, on Earth, are only produced by living organisms.
The James Webb Space Telescope detected dimethyl sulfide and dimethyl disulfide in the atmosphere of planet K2-18 b, according to a study published in the Astrophysical Journal Letters and <a href="https://www.reuters.com/science/scientists-find-strongest-evidence-yet-life-an-alien-planet-2025-04-16/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> by Reuters.
These gases are produced on Earth exclusively by biological processes, primarily by algae.
Located approximately 124 light-years from Earth, K2-18 b is 8.6 times Earth&#8217;s mass and orbits in the &#8220;habitable zone&#8221; of a red dwarf star where liquid water could exist.
The gases were detected with a 99.7% confidence level, meaning there&#8217;s still a 0.3% chance the observation could be a statistical fluke.
&#8220;This is a transformational moment in the search for life beyond the solar system,&#8221; said astrophysicist Nikku Madhusudhan of Cambridge University, who led the study. &#8220;We have entered the era of observational astrobiology.&#8221;
Scientists stress this finding should be viewed cautiously, with Madhusudhan noting it&#8217;s &#8220;in no one&#8217;s interest to claim prematurely that we have detected life.&#8221; Additional observations are needed to rule out non-biological explanations.
The planet could potentially be a &#8220;hycean world&#8221; – covered by a liquid water ocean with a hydrogen-rich atmosphere.
&#8220;The only scenario that currently explains all the data obtained so far is one where K2-18 b is a hycean world teeming with life,&#8221; Madhusudhan explained.
The research team&#8217;s detection involved analyzing starlight passing through K2-18 b&#8217;s atmosphere using Webb&#8217;s highly sensitive instruments.
The gases were detected at concentrations &#8220;thousands of times higher than their concentrations in the Earth&#8217;s atmosphere, and cannot be explained without biological activity based on existing knowledge,&#8221; according to Madhusudhan.
Christopher Glein, principal scientist at the Southwest Research Institute in Texas, emphasized the need for caution when interpreting these results.
&#8220;The rich data from K2-18 b make it a tantalizing world,&#8221; said Glein. &#8220;Yet, we must be very careful to test the data as thoroughly as possible.&#8221;
To conclusively determine whether these gases indicate the presence of life, scientists plan to conduct additional observations.
&#8220;First we need to repeat the observations two to three times to make sure the signal we are seeing is robust and to increase the detection significance,&#8221; Madhusudhan explained, noting that researchers aim to reduce the odds of a statistical fluke to below one in a million.
This detection represents what Madhusudhan calls a &#8220;transformational moment&#8221; in our search for extraterrestrial life, moving humanity closer to answering whether we are alone in the universe – a question that has fascinated mankind for millennia.

A description about the movie on <a href="https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116629/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">IMDb</a> read, “The aliens are coming and their goal is to invade and destroy Earth. Fighting superior technology, mankind&#8217;s best weapon is the will to survive.”
The comments were similar to what others have been saying on social media about the unidentified drones, seen flying primarily over New Jersey, that have alarmed residents and lawmakers as the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI have said little beyond admitting they&#8217;re investigating the phenomena, as <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/unidentified-drones-entered-airspace-over-u-s-navy-weapons-station">The Daily Wire</a> previously reported. 
Fox News host Harris Faulkner recently talked about the drones, taking video and posting it on <a href="https://x.com/HARRISFAULKNER/status/1867697001741140384">X</a>. 
“JUST SAW THE MYSTERY DRONE ACTIVITY FOR MYSELF. Dusk hit moments ago and very large drones flew outside my bedroom windows,” Faulkner’s post read. “My daughter Bella ran to get her cell.”
“There are 6-8 hovering in one area now above the Hudson River,” she added. “Street traffic to the George Washington Bridge is crawling as neighbors stopping to witness this.
She later posted a message from President-elect Donald Trump, who also weighed in on the mysterious flying devices, calling on the government to let the people know what’s going on.

The actress said several months later, she was dancing in West Covina, California, &#8220;which is very close to a desert.&#8221; She went to take a nap in a friend’s car when she got tired during a rehearsal.
&#8220;I don’t know why I said that,&#8221; Hawn said. &#8220;I don’t know why I didn’t just lie down on the bleachers.&#8221; The Academy Award winner recalled how she was just getting settled in to sleep when she heard a strange sound.
&#8220;I got this high-pitched sound in my ear,&#8221; Hawn said. &#8220;It was this high, high frequency.&#8221; She said she looked out the car window and saw &#8220;these two or three triangular-shaped heads.&#8221;
&#8220;They were silver in color, slash for a mouth, tiny little nose, no ears,&#8221; Hawn explained. &#8220;They were pointing at me, pointing at me in the car as if they were discussing me, like I was a subject. And they were droning.&#8221;
She said the experience rendered her unable to move.
&#8220;I was paralyzed,&#8221; Hawn said. &#8220;And I thought, Oh, my God. I want to get up. I didn’t know if it was real or not real.&#8221;
Eventually, she “burst out” of the state of paralysis, which she said was “like bursting out of a forcefield.&#8221; 
&#8220;Of course I go back to all the kids and stuff, and I went, ‘Oh, my God. I think I made contact with outer space,’&#8221; Hawn said.

The actress said she thought the whole thing could have been a dream until she started reading other accounts of alien encounters, many of which described the same high-pitched sound and feeling of paralysis.
&#8220;So I started looking at this as something that might be real,&#8221; Hawn said.
She later spoke with a researcher about what had happened and said revisiting the experience caused her to fall into a “trance” and remember even more details. 
“They touched my face,&#8221; Hawn said. &#8220;They touched my face, and it felt like the finger of God.&#8221;

Mexico&#8217;s Congress made global headlines on Tuesday after alleged experts who study extraterrestrials unveiled 1,000-year-old &#8220;alien corpses&#8221; nestled in a glass display during its first hearing on UFOs.
But Ryan Graves, the former Navy pilot and Americans for Safe Aerospace executive director who appeared in the first U.S. congressional public hearing investigating reported military encounters with alleged crafts of non-human origins since the 1960s, said in an X-post following the hearing that the spectacle &#8220;disappointed&#8221; him.

Graves was one of three witnesses who addressed the House Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs during the hearing on UAPs in late July. He was joined by Retired Navy Commander David Fravor and decorated military veteran and intelligence official-turned-whistleblower David Grusch.
During sworn testimony before Congress, Grusch, an Air Force veteran and former National Geospatial Intelligence Agency member, said he is aware of where the U.S. government is allegedly covertly keeping UAPs.

Grusch claimed he knows the &#8220;exact locations&#8221; based on interviews of &#8220;over 40 witnesses over four years&#8221; when asked about UFOs, the popular term used to describe UAPs. Though Grusch declared that he was limited in what he could disclose publicly, he stated that the locations had been provided to the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) and &#8220;some&#8221; to the congressional intelligence panels.
The Department of Defense released a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/the-ufo-hearing-is-over-whats-next" target="_blank" rel="noopener">statement</a> insisting that its All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), which has been tasked with investigating UFOs, &#8220;has not discovered any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials have existed in the past or exist currently.&#8221; In addition, AARO Director Sean Kirkpatrick said the hearing was &#8220;insulting&#8221; to members of his team.
Mexico held a similar hearing on Tuesday that featured Mexican journalist and ufologist Jaime Maussan, who testified under oath that the creatures recovered near Peru&#8217;s ancient Nazca Lines were &#8220;non-human beings that are not part of our terrestrial evolution,&#8221; according to <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/world/journalist-presents-mexican-congress-alleged-non-human-alien-corpses-ufo-hearing-not-alone" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fox News</a>.
Maussan also reportedly said that Autonomous National University of Mexico researchers analyzed two corpses that were approximately 1,000 years old.
&#8220;These aren&#8217;t beings that were found after a UFO wreckage,&#8221; Maussan said. &#8220;They were found in diatom mines and were later fossilized.&#8221;
&#8220;Whether they are aliens or not, we don&#8217;t know, but they were intelligent, and they lived with us,&#8221; he added. &#8220;They should rewrite history.… We are not alone in this vast universe. We should embrace this reality.&#8221;
The Independent <a href="https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/alien-corpses-in-mexico-found-congress-ufo-b2411144.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> that Maussan has previously made claims of &#8220;alien&#8221; discoveries that have since been debunked, including five mummies found in Peru in 2017 that turned out to be the remains of human children.
Peruvian Culture Minister Leslie Urteaga told <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/alien-bodies-presented-mexican-congress-panned-stunt-2023-09-14/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Reuters</a> that South America&#8217;s scientific institutions have not identified the remains displayed during the Mexico&#8217;s UFO hearing as non-human and said that the Ministry of Culture has filed a criminal complaint against Maussan and his associates.
&#8220;I am going to ask for information to see what has happened &#8230; about the removal of pre-Hispanic objects, because I understand they are part of pre-Hispanic bone remains,&#8221; she said.
Maussan told the outlet on Thursday that his claims have not been countered.
&#8220;What they want is to take away the force that this discovery has, but only with testimonies, with questioning and without a single piece of evidence,&#8221; Maussan said. &#8220;We have been doing investigations for years&#8230; they want to come here to investigate with just talk.&#8221;

A Harvard physicist professor cited remnants from a meteor-like object to claim that they could have come from outside our solar system.
Professor Avi Loeb and a team of researchers retrieved roughly 700 tiny metallic spheres from an impact zone about 85 kilometers north of Manus Island, Papua New Guinea. According to composition analysis executed by Stein Jacobsen and his team at Harvard University, 57 reportedly contain compositions that don’t match man-made or natural alloys.
“This is a historic discovery because it represents the first time that humans put their hand on materials from a large object that arrived to Earth from outside the solar system,” Loeb said on Tuesday.
“I was thrilled when Stein Jacobsen reported to me about it based on the results in his laboratory,” Loeb told <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-12456979/First-alien-object-recovered-Earth-Harvard-Avi-Loeb-says-hundreds-tiny-fragments-bottom-Pacific-Ocean-outside-solar-system.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Daily Mail</a>. “Stein is a highly conservative and professional geochemist with a worldwide reputation. He had no bias or agenda whatsoever and expected to find familiar spherules with solar system composition. But the data showed something new, never reported in the scientific literature. Science is guided by evidence.”
“For now, we wanted to check whether the materials are from outside the solar system,” he continued. “The success of the expedition illustrates the value of taking risks in science despite all odds as an opportunity for discovering new knowledge.”
According to Loeb’s non-peer reviewed<a href="https://lweb.cfa.harvard.edu/~loeb/Interstellar_Expedition.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> study</a>, the spherules contain beryllium, lanthanum and uranium, referred to in the study as “BeLaU.” “The ‘BeLaU’ abundance pattern is not found in control regions outside of IM1’s path and does not match commonly manufactured alloys or natural meteorites in the solar system,” the study theorized. “We suggest that the ‘BeLaU’ abundance pattern could have originated from a highly differentiated magma ocean of a planet with an iron core outside the solar system or from more exotic sources.”
The expedition to the South Pacific was announced back in January, with Loeb explaining the reasons for the trip in a post on Medium.
“Within a couple of months, I will be leading an expedition to collect the fragments of the first interstellar meteor,” Loeb <a href="https://avi-loeb.medium.com/we-are-going-to-visit-the-first-interstellar-meteor-8cf498d4d6fc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote</a> in January. “This meteor is the first near-Earth object ever detected by humans from outside the solar system. We have a dream team, including some of the most experienced and qualified professionals in ocean expeditions. We have complete design and manufacturing plans for the required sled, magnets, collection nets and mass spectrometer.”

On Wednesday, the House Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs held the much anticipated hearing on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP).
Two of the three witnesses who addressed the Committee under oath were former Navy pilot and Americans for Safe Aerospace executive director Ryan Graves, and Retired Navy Commander David Fravor. The third witness was whistleblower David Grusch, a decorated military veteran and intelligence official who served in Afghanistan and formerly worked at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Grusch was the National Reconnaissance Office’s (NRO) representative to the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force beginning in 2019.
While certain responses couldn&#8217;t be provided in an open session under threat of legal action, and would require David Grusch to enter a SCIF (secure compartmented information facility) with members of Congress, during the portion of the hearing in which representatives questioned the witnesses, several extraordinary exchanges still stood out.
<h4>Injury or Murder</h4>
One of the more explosive questions came when Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) asked David Grusch if he knew of anyone who had been “harmed or injured in efforts to cover up or conceal &#8230; extraterrestrial technology.”

Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) asked Grusch if he believed the federal government has retrieved non-human craft, and where they might be stored.
Grusch responded that he does believe the government is in possession of craft, based on interviews with 40 witnesses, and that he knows “the exact locations and those locations were provided to the Inspector General.”
He added: “I actually had the people with the firsthand knowledge provide a protected disclosure to the Inspector General.”

After asking a series of questions concerning national security, Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) said that he believes Congress should demand to speak with Grusch in a SCIF (secure compartmented information facility), and &#8220;if that access is denied, I will personally volunteer to initiate the Holman rule against any personnel, or any program, or any agency that denies access to Congress.&#8221;

The biggest debate at The Daily Wire is not over gender, the 2024 presidential race, or immigration. It is, instead, over aliens.
Some people believe that aliens are real. E.T. comes down, abducts people, and prowls around like a little green man. Then other people are correct — observers who know it is fake. It&#8217;s not real.
We are not alone in the universe, but as far as corporeal beings with rational souls go, we are alone. When people see these unidentified flying objects and encounter little green men, they are most likely talking to demons.
People make fun of me for this. But the reason people make fun of me for this point of view is because they are “moderns.” They are modern secular libs. Aliens are just demons for modern lib people who cannot imagine there is such a thing as metaphysical reality. They are for people who are materialists, people who think that everything that’s real must be flesh and blood, which is not true. Some of the most important things in life are not material: hopes, dreams, love, mathematics, and plenty of things that are metaphysical, such as moral order.
But we have convinced ourselves in this sophisticated day and age that everything must be physical. So, even the celestial beings have to be physical. They can&#8217;t be merely spiritual.
This brings me to a man by the name of Luis Elizondo, a former intelligence agent with the Department of Defense. He claims he was the director of the Pentagon&#8217;s UFO program from 2010 to 2017, which Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has confirmed.
In an interview from two years ago, Elizondo says an official whom he tremendously respected told him not to pursue and look into these extraterrestrial beings because they already knew what it was. Elizondo assumed it was our own technology, but when he asked that, the official told him, no, they are demonic, and “we should not be pursuing them.”
That’s correct. That is what these are. The aliens are demonic.
Now, Elizondo disagreed with the more senior Pentagon official and believed they did need to investigate it, get the data, and probe for more information. He wanted to find out what was going on. But my question is, why?
Why do we need to do that? Curiosity is not a virtue. If we recall the words of Hamlet, “There is more in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy” — and certainly the desiccated modern philosophy that ignores metaphysical things.
If there were — which there is not — a super race of extremely intelligent, extraterrestrials coming for us who can cross the galaxy, move faster than the speed of lightning, outsmart our technology with their own advancements, then we would not beat them. That would be like a squirrel who tries to beat an army of human beings. And if they&#8217;re demons, then we should want nothing to do with them.
There is spiritual reality.
We are body and soul. We are highly morphic composite beings with rational souls. That&#8217;s why we have an appetite; we eat food and drink water to sustain ourselves. But man does not live by bread alone, and we can use our abstract reason and moral judgment to think about things like justice, art, culture, or opera. We can do both.
Certain beings, however, are purely physical and do not have a rational soul, such as a rock. Even the animals don&#8217;t have abstract reason, which is why we don&#8217;t put them on trial. We don&#8217;t put a dog on trial when he bites someone. And then opposite that, there are different beings that are metaphysical. Ideas are metaphysical, and angels and demons are metaphysical too. Everyone has known this for all of history until the arrival of modern, Western, liberal, secular people 100 years ago.
So, if they are demons, then as C.S. Lewis pointed out, the right attitude is to know that they exist and be on guard. They try to prey on souls, tear you down to hell, and give you a bad eternity, but we shouldn&#8217;t be too curious about them.
That’s how I feel about aliens — or really, demons, as even the Pentagon admits.
