An independent bookstore in England has reacted to going viral after the shop&#8217;s window display showed copies of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/silence-is-betrayal-prince-harry-sits-down-with-60-minutes-ahead-of-memoir-release">Prince Harry&#8217;s</a> new tell-all memoir next to a novel called &#8220;<a href="https://www.amazon.com/Kill-Your-Family-Bella-Mackie/dp/0008365911">How To Kill Your Family</a>.&#8221;
The owner of Bert&#8217;s Books in Swindon, Alex Call, shared that staff thought the idea of showing the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/adam-carolla-posts-bookstores-window-display-that-torches-prince-harrys-new-book">Duke of Sussex&#8217;s</a> book &#8220;<a href="https://www.amazon.com/Spare-Prince-Harry-Duke-Sussex/dp/0593593804/?_encoding=UTF8&amp;pd_rd_w=aOKmf&amp;content-id=amzn1.sym.f05f10a7-d30f-4cc9-9521-a1dfe37686ab&amp;pf_rd_p=f05f10a7-d30f-4cc9-9521-a1dfe37686ab&amp;pf_rd_r=HY87QR33WKSQXD4JHQ4V&amp;pd_rd_wg=nYPOF&amp;pd_rd_r=bbf9c86b-1329-410f-a50a-32c8944f2384&amp;ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mi">Spare</a>&#8221; next to Bella Mackie&#8217;s publication would be &#8220;quite light-hearted and make a few people smile,&#8221; the <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-wiltshire-64227200">BBC</a> reported. Mackie&#8217;s fictional book is about a girl who decides to enact revenge on her entire family and kill every one of them.

One person who works in the shop, Michael Ritchie, said despite the book being in all the headlines, its high price (more than $34 U.S. dollars) would discourage people from buying it, the outlet noted.
&#8220;The price is £28 which I think is quite steep for a book,&#8221; Ritchie shared. &#8220;People will go &#8216;actually I don&#8217;t know if I&#8217;m going to pay for that or (I&#8217;ll) wait for the paperback.'&#8221;
He also told the outlet he predicts the book&#8217;s sales would &#8220;last for a week or two and then just fade.&#8221;
The comments from the shop come after people like Piers Morgan and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/adam-carolla">Adam Carolla</a> praised the bookstore&#8217;s display and shared it on social media.

Comedian <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/adam-carolla" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Adam Carolla</a> posted a photo of a bookstore display that torched Prince Harry over the release of his new tell-all memoir, titled “Spare.”
The 58-year-old actor and podcaster shared the photo of a window display created by a bookstore clerk that made clear the person wasn&#8217;t a fan of the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/prince-harry" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Duke of Sussex&#8217;s</a> new book.

Reading through the comments underneath Carolla&#8217;s post, the view from the majority of his followers was that the photo was &#8220;hilarious&#8221; and &#8220;amazing.&#8221; One person described the tweet, calling Harry &#8220;a traitor to his family.&#8221;

Comedian Adam Carolla hit back over an article that claimed the comedian was dragged for &#8220;falsely suggesting&#8221; that it is only the &#8220;old or sick or both&#8221; dying of COVID.

In Carolla&#8217;s original tweet, he <a href="https://twitter.com/adamcarolla/status/1300661191736356865?s=61&amp;t=acejImCzV1UtDtgFc0KmqA" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote</a>, &#8220;Turns out the people dying from covid are old or sick or both. How many of you p****s got played ? and[sic] who&#8217;s going to get played the next time?&#8221;
In the first paragraph of Newsweek&#8217;s article, the author wrote that Carolla &#8220;was blasted on Twitter after falsely suggesting only the &#8216;old or sick&#8217; die from COVID-19, while insulting those who &#8216;got played&#8217; by believing medical experts.&#8221;
Several paragraphs down in the same article, a sentence noted that &#8220;the sick and elderly are more susceptible to serious complications or death due to COVID-19,” but added that&#8217;s not the only group &#8220;the virus kills.&#8221;
In November, <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2022/11/28/covid-who-is-dying/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Washington Post</a> published a headline that read, &#8220;Covid becomes plague of elderly, reviving debate over &#8216;acceptable loss.’”
The piece noted that “nearly 9 in 10 covid deaths are in people 65 or older — the highest rate ever,&#8221; according the Post&#8217;s analysis of <a href="https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/science/data-review/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CDC data</a>. The Post&#8217;s analysis also found that &#8220;more than 300 people are still dying each day on average from covid-19, most of them 65 or older.&#8221;
Carolla has been very outspoken during the pandemic, noting things like the hypocrisy of politicians such as <a href="https://www.politico.com/states/california/story/2020/11/13/newsom-faces-backlash-after-attending-french-laundry-dinner-party-1336419" target="_blank" rel="noopener">California Governor Gavin Newsom</a> discouraging families from getting together in November 2020 while himself going out to a fancy dinner with friends, and calling out President Joe Biden and CNN anchors who he said scared everyone with each new COVID variant, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/patrick-warburton-hilariously-talks-taking-broom-to-gavin-newsom-pinata-as-adam-carolla-crushes-kaepernick-on-latest-truth-yeller" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.

Adam Carolla Hits Back Over Article Claiming He ‘Falsely’ Suggested It’s The ‘Old Or Sick Or Both’ Dying Of COVID

Bernard Goldberg provided a valuable service to his country back in 2001 with “Bias.” 
The book’s subtitle said it all – “A CBS Insider Exposes How the Media Distort the News.” Goldberg broke down how the press tilts the scales in favor of Democrats and progressive causes.
To say the problem got worse since then is to belabor the obvious. And while Goldberg continues to fact-check the news very few fellow journalists have joined his cause. Those who do take up Goldberg’s fight — Glenn Greenwald, Matt Taibbi, and Sharyl Attkisson rush to mind — get pummeled by their peers.
Enter Adam Carolla.
He’s not a journalist by trade. He’s a carpenter turned podcast sensation, a comic who follows the funny wherever it leads. And, lately, he sees plenty of funny business from the modern legacy media.
He’s turned his secondary podcast, “<a href="https://www.podcastone.com/Adam-and-Dr-Drew-Show">The Adam and Dr. Drew Show</a>,” into a one-stop shop for debunking media lies. He and his former “Loveline” partner, Dr. Drew Pinsky, break down the latest headlines and explain in terms everyone can grasp how the media has lost its way.
And he’ll use any other platform to make sure listeners know they’re not getting the truth from today’s press.
His <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Enf5qzwLbPM" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2020 interview with Kirstie Alley,</a> the “Cheers” alum who now questions Hollywood’s progressive groupthink, found the podcaster taking a page from the Trump playbook.
The legacy media is often the enemy of the people, and he brought some receipts.
“I know really decent people and I see what the media tries to do to them, not trying to fact check them but take statements they made and turn them, intentionally, into a bad human. Not a human you disagree with but a bad human … I realize that it works on a large portion of our society and it poisons them….”
Carolla cited how press outlets twisted his friend Dennis Prager’s views into a pretzel in order to demonize the Salem radio talker. Defamed high schooler Nick Sandmann, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-nicholas-sandmann-nbc-news-reach-settlement-in-defamation-suit">dubbed a racist</a> by the press after video of him in Washington, D.C. went viral, is Exhibit B.
“They’re actually getting dangerous now because of the s*** they’re saying. They’re gonna get people killed.”
Carolla addressed the so-called “Big Lie” that President Trump actually beat Joe Biden at the ballot box in 2020, noting how the legacy media’s suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story sunk President Donald Trump’s re-election chances <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qu47TyZXUZI" target="_blank" rel="noopener">during a chat with Dave Rubin.</a>
“It’s not that the election was rigged, per se, by the states or the vote counters or mail-in ballots. It was essentially rigged by CNN, the Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, most all legacy and mainstream media and then Big Tech, all the Googles and Twitter … If you think about just the Hunter Biden story as an example … forget it’s Hunter Biden and what the allegations are … there’s a story that’s a credible story and it would hurt one candidate. I don’t know if it’s three points or seven points … it would definitely be damaging to one of the candidates.”
And polling suggests <a href="https://nypost.com/2022/08/26/2020-election-outcome-would-differ-with-hunter-biden-laptop-coverage-poll/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Carolla had a point</a>. He’s only grown bolder since then.
Last year, Carolla shredded media outlets for <a href="https://www.podcastone.com/episode/1464-Surprise-Surprise" target="_blank" rel="noopener">over-hyping the Jan. 6 “insurrection.”</a>
“If you say, I saw a lot of the footage, I’ve seen a lot of the data, I’ve heard a lot of the stories of what went on January 6. That did not look like an organized attempt at an insurrection by a white supremacist group. It seemed like a bunch of people rioting who were rogue and untethered.”
The “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/show/adam-carolla-truth-yeller" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Truth Yeller</a>” comic raged for weeks about one of the culture’s most notoriously Fake News stories — U.S. border agents whipped Haitian immigrants as they crossed into the U.S. from Mexico.
Except nothing of the kind happened. The picture that started the kerfuffle didn’t reflect actual events, something even the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/photographer-who-took-horseback-border-patrol-photos-ive-never-seen-them-whip-anyone" target="_blank" rel="noopener">photographer quickly admitted</a>. That didn’t stop the press or President Biden from clinging to the phony narrative.
A fair, honest press would have shredded that narrative in 24 hours and, later, excoriate officials like Biden for promoting it.
Neither happened, <a href="https://adamanddrdrewshow.com/1579-it-can-be-stupid-and-liar/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">leaving Carolla enraged</a>. And rightly so.
“When is this bulls*** [media bias] gonna end? When it’s gonna end is the two border patrol guys … they gotta f***ing sue CNN. That’s where it ends.”
Carolla delivered the rhetorical kill shot to the legacy media recently. He recalled an ‘80s era Biden scandal in which the <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/vintage-biden-clip-resurfaces-law-school" target="_blank" rel="noopener">then-Senator aggressively lied about his academic record</a>. The media at the time may have leaned to the Left, but reporters often held both parties accountable.
TV networks called Biden out on his lies, and the future president meekly admitted to incorrectly remembering those details.
<a href="https://adamanddrdrewshow.com/1636-things-have-shifted-quite-a-bit/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">That would never happen today</a>, Carolla said. And, if anyone has seen Biden’s recent press appearances where he spits out outrageous fibs about gasoline prices, inflation and more, sans fact checks, you know he’s right.
Carolla and Dr. Pinsky also played clips of CNN’s Jake Tapper lobbing deflated beach balls to President Biden over Hunter Biden’s scandals.
Tapper’s blistering follow-up question? “You’re about to turn 80 next month, Happy Birthday, ahead of time.”
Goldberg, despite his Herculean efforts to shame corrupt journalism, couldn’t stop the industry’s corruption from getting worse. Carolla tackles the subject from a different angle, making him a powerful force for journalistic integrity.
He’s not a talking head or political pundit. Nor is he trying to score points for one team or the other. He only leans right these days because the Left checked its sanity at the door.
Carolla’s ability to mine laughs from journalistic malpractice gives him another valuable weapon.
Carolla is doing the work that august platforms should be tackling. Think the Columbia Journalism Review, The Poynter Institute or news stations across the country. They all collectively stand down, letting a professional comedian do their jobs for them.

Comedian Adam Carolla, who has made his career on speaking what he regards as the unvarnished truth, damn the consequences, spoke to veteran reporter John Stossel, doubling down on his mockery of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez while shrugging off the idea of capitulating to leftists demanding apologies.
“You said, ‘If AOC were fat and in her sixties, no one would listen to her,’” Stossel pointed out, referencing a comment Carolla made in February. Carolla had <a href="https://twitter.com/Acyn/status/1489428207283568642?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1489428207283568642%7Ctwgr%5E55f8c5e193bbf2e8497bed14cff3ece020790c1d%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.newsweek.com%2Falexandria-ocasio-cortez-aoc-adam-carolla-sean-hannity-whoopi-goldberg-1676150">told</a> Fox News’ Sean Hannity, “If AOC was fat and in her sixties, would anyone listen to another thing she ever said?”
“Well, that’s the truth. That’s 100% true,” Carolla replied.  “If she were in her sixties and husky, nobody would listen to a word she ever said, because she sounds like an idiot.”
Leftists had predictably gone ballistic over Carolla’s comment. “Majority Report’s” Emma Vigeland carped, “It’s very predatory and creepy,” while “Young Turks” host Cenk Uygur sniffed, “He projects his sexism onto others.”
“But what Carolla said is simply true,” <a href="https://www.dailysignal.com/2022/09/20/no-apologies-from-this-comic-to-aoc-or-anyone-else/">opined</a> veteran reporter John Stossel, who interviewed Carolla. “Nobody pays much attention to House freshmen. Ocasio-Cortez is a political celebrity simply because she’s pretty, and also, she speaks without constantly saying ‘uh.’”
“Apologizing just leads to more apologizing,” Carolla told Stossel. “They want you to apologize because they want dominion over you. And once you apologize, they just keep coming back.”
Asserting that he simply didn’t care what leftists thought, Carolla said, “I just happen to be wired not to care, as long as I’m right.”
Carolla spoke of his criticism of how the federal government originally handled COVID, saying, “They didn’t give the ages of the people who died at the very beginning. I immediately got suspicious because it was a bunch of 90-year-olds.”
He decried the refusal of those on the Left to have a civil conversation with their political opponents: “When you’re going to a bar, you want to sit next to a guy who’s a Steelers fan, if he’s a Steelers fan. That’s why they have Steelers bars and Patriots bars. But occasionally, and it’s part of your job, you have to invite somebody over from the Patriots bar and have a robust debate on who’s the better team.”
“I believe that they would let the other side speak if they thought they could beat them in a debate. They don’t,” he declared.

Comedian Adam Carolla is no fan of Cancel Culture, but the “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/show/adam-carolla-truth-yeller">Truth Yeller</a>” host does see an upside to its censorious streak.
“When the Nazis invade France, there’s going to be a French Underground. It wasn’t created pre-World War II. It was something that was necessary,” said Carolla, host of several popular podcasts including “The Adam Carolla Show.”
Cancel Culture is similarly spawning rebellious content, from Andrew Schulz’s successful stand-up special “Infamous” to fellow comics using podcasts and <a href="https://www.patreon.com/">Patreon accounts</a> to stave off what Elon Musk famously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/get-woke-go-broke-elon-musk-says-woke-mind-virus-makes-netflix-unwatchable-as-shares-plummet-20">dubbed</a> the “woke mind virus.”
In Schulz’s case, an unnamed platform tried to censor “Infamous,” but he bought the special back at considerable cost. In just days <a href="https://www.hollywoodintoto.com/andrew-schulz-infamous-special-investment-return/">he had tripled his investment</a>.
“[Andrew Schulz] was created by oppression, and so is The Daily Wire,” said Carolla, who built his own Cancel Culture-proof <a href="https://adamcarolla.com/">company</a> letting him create content on his own terms.
The woke mindset behind Cancel Culture still leaves its mark on the western world, something Carolla touches on in his latest book. The best-selling author translates his knack for side-splitting improv into “<a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09WX9VK8Y/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0">Everything Reminds Me of Something: Advice, Answers … but No Apologies</a>.”
His sixth tome reads like his stand-up brand, “Adam Carolla is Unprepared,” in printed form. The book captures his ability to crack wise on the fly, cleverly categorized in chapters like “Don’t Be a Tool” (construction tips), “Auto Correct” (car talk) and “Pop Goes the Culture.”
Society takes comedians like Carolla seriously these days, often putting their careers in peril. Comics must think twice before tackling difficult subjects or groups considered off-limits by cultural scolds.
He said a subtle change in how we process humor made that possible, and it’s not a helpful evolution. Not long ago an “off-color” joke might offend someone. Now? Carolla said the same jokes are considered “impactful and dangerous.”
“We swapped out the word ‘offended’ for ‘affected,’” he said. “If your jokes offended somebody they needed to lighten up or not listen. If they’re ‘affected’ you need to change or be deplatformed.”
It’s about control, he said, and that’s a problem both for comedy and the culture at large.
“I don’t think we should ever, as a society, try to stifle or reign in the comedians. It’s like trying to tell an inventor what to think about,” he said. “You want them free to comment on things in our society.”
“Traditionally you don’t wanna tell the artist what to paint. Then they become a graphic designer doing logos rather than creating works,” he added.
“Everything Reminds Me of Something” finds Carolla lamenting what’s not being shared in the culture today, from sharp-elbow jokes to societal solutions that could “trigger” the easily offended.
It reads like he’s riffing on stage, signalizing his new book as a departure from past efforts.
Improv comedy comes naturally to Carolla, no matter the media. He credited a knack for thinking on his feet, along with studying his craft and getting enough “reps” under his belt on stages across the country.
Old-fashioned pressure helps, too.
“When you’re on stage you don’t get that luxury of saying, ‘eh, I got nothing,’” he cracked.
Carolla, along with his former “Loveline” radio co-host Dr. Drew Pinsky, have been pummeling mainstream media bias in recent weeks. Carolla suggested the legal system can help bring some accountability to the Fourth Estate. Consider how former Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-covington-catholic-student-nick-sandmann-gets-settlement-from-cnn-after-275-million-lawsuit">took major news outlets like CNN to court</a> after they defamed him over a January 2019 confrontation on the National Mall.
Carolla added the public should resist Fake News accounts whenever possible. Or, to use the Left’s parlance, it’s time for some resistance.
It’s a policy he used regarding what he saw as unnecessary mask mandates in the age of COVID. He said he constantly defied mask restrictions on flights, forcing airline personnel to insist he mask up over and again.
“I was told an average of 37 times on a two-hour flight [to put my mask back on], 18 times before we left,” he said. “That’s what everyone needs to do. It’s a metaphor for where we are right now&#8230;release your own stuff, push back. It’ll go away.”
Carolla’s new book reminds audiences of his strict policy when it comes to comedy. No apologies&#8230;ever.
That isn’t the case with his Hollywood peers, even the uber-rich and famous like Stephen King and Scarlett Johansson. Both A-listers got thwacked by the Cancel Culture mob and quickly apologized.
King backpedaled after saying <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stephen-king-goes-ultra-woke-after-sjws-scold-him-for-anti-diversity-comments-oscars-rigged-in-favor-of-the-white-folks">artistic quality should trump diversity</a>. Johansson quit a movie about a trans man when <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/johansson-surrenders-pulls-out-playing-transgender-ben-shapiro">far-Left voices insisted only a trans performer take the part</a>.
Carolla doesn’t mince words about those types of high-profile cases.
“They’re cowards. They don’t have the faith of their convictions,” he said, adding as rich and famous as they may be they’re still beholden to others. “They have parent companies, like Disney or Marvel, Pixar or publishing houses. There are so many examples of [people] being dropped or canceled. They don’t wanna risk that.”
“You’d think they have enough power and money but it’s about being invited to the next party&#8230;they still want the invite in the party at the Hamptons,” he said.

Q: How do I respond to all the intersectional identity politics at work? It’s not even about being treated equally anymore—if you are in the “wrong” demographic, then you have to admit you’re a racist and that you need to just shut up and let the others tell you what’s up. Except that it’s just too exhausting for them to have to explain it all to you. If you don’t innately get it (which you cannot do, by definition), it’s just more proof of your hopeless racism. I’d say start your own business. As your own boss, you’re not going to force yourself to do antiracism training. It’s weird that identity politics has crept its way into the workplace. This nonsense was formerly relegated to liberal arts colleges. Now it’s gotten into corporate America. Like a virus from a Wuhan lab, it has escaped and mutated and now has variants. We should have locked down the colleges to stop the spread.
Here’s my take on all of this, and it’s less about race and more about employment practices. So much race discussion happening at work means not a lot of work is going on. Guys who work on deep-sea oil rigs aren’t talking about “white fragility.” I worked in carpet cleaning. I didn’t know people’s last names, never mind who they voted for. I couldn’t talk to my coworkers, because the steam cleaner was so loud I couldn’t hear myself talk. Guys work-ing in factories and at logging camps don’t give a f*** about race discussions. They’re trying to avoid getting killed by the machinery they’re operating. They don’t have time to care about the race of the person next to them; they care only about whether that guy secured the safety line so they don’t get crushed.
It’s corporate America’s fault for calling the chick making eight dollars an hour stirring the beans at Taco Bell a “team member.” It implies she has a say. I was a goomper who worked my way up to being a glorified goomper. “Hey, idiot” was how I was greeted most days on the construction site. Now everyone is a “valued associate,” “partner,” or “colleague.” Language like that levels the field and implies an opening for a conversation about your pronouns and gender identity, or about race and microaggressions.
If inmates in a maximum-security prison were referred to as team members, and the warden talked about striving to create an inclusive place where everyone’s voice would be heard, a day wouldn’t go by without a guard being taken hostage.
Worker euphemisms hit peak absurdity last year for me when I noticed a sign outside a Jimmy John’s sub joint.

No wonder the Great Resignation is happening. Jimmy John’s is hiring rock stars. Who’d work as a bank teller and be a “team member” when they can go across the street to Jimmy John’s and be a rock star? As far as euphemisms go, this even beats Disneyland’s calling the failed musical theater student in the Pluto costume a cast member. Obviously, Jimmy John’s workers are not literally rock stars. Slash and Dave Grohl aren’t slinging the composite-meat products behind the counter. They’re shredding on their guitars, not shredding iceberg lettuce. But even figuratively, “rock star” doesn’t apply. People in sales or advertising are called rock stars when they close a big account or do something else that’s outstanding. How can someone stand out when they’re assembling sandwiches and will soon be replaced by a robot? It’s all part of the failure of the self-esteem movement. You can’t give someone self-esteem. It has to be earned. We can change the language, but it doesn’t change the job. Calling someone a rock star doesn’t make them one. We can rename herpes “happies,” but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s a sexually transmitted disease.
But I think it’s too late. This sh** with race discussions and ridiculous euphemisms for workers is just going to continue. Workplaces will continue to become wokeplaces, and intersectional identity politics will become part of corporate culture. But on the bright side, like those OSHA-mandated signs in the break-room advising workers of their rights and the safety mandates of the building, they’ll become like wallpaper that you don’t even notice. Though I do look forward to seeing a sign next to the one that reads “115 Days without an Accident” declaring “28 Days Since Last Misgendering.”

Comedian Adam Carolla of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/show/adam-carolla-truth-yeller">The Daily Wire&#8217;s &#8220;Truth Yeller&#8221;</a> called out California Governor Gavin Newsom’s (D) recent hypocritical actions on Wednesday.
Appearing on Fox News’ “Hannity,” Carolla <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/media/adam-carolla-gavin-newsoms-latest-hypocrisy">said</a> he lives “under Gavin Newsom’s thumb.”
Referencing Newsom’s recent trip to Montana — a state that is under a travel ban for state travel in California, Carolla said, “…let’s just really distill this down. Alright. There’s a travel ban against Montana because Montana&#8217;s evil because of their stances on LGBT, whatever.&#8221;
“They’re probably not handing out free sexual assignment reassignment surgery to all inmates or something insane,” he said. “But either way, let’s just break it down. Montana is an evil place because of the way they treat the gay and lesbian community. Fine. Then who cares who’s paying for your travel, Gavin?”
“Why would you go to an evil place? Why are you trying to be evil on a technicality? You’re the one who said &#8230; this is a bad place, this is bad policy, so don’t go fly-fishing then. Don’t go there,” Carolla said.
“I mean, it&#8217;s the same with the French Laundry, it was the same with the SoFi stadium where he’s taking pictures with Magic Johnson with his mask in his hand. He doesn’t believe it, he’s a carpetbagger, he’s full of crap. He doesn’t believe anything he’s saying,” Carolla added.
&#8220;He doesn’t believe COVID&#8217;s dangerous, or he wouldn’t be out with 31 of his closest friends drinking 40 grand worth of wine, and he wouldn&#8217;t be standing around SoFi stadium with no mask on if he believed it. He doesn’t believe it, he doesn’t believe Montana, he doesn’t believe anything he says, and I don’t believe anything he says, either,” he said.
After discussing Newsom’s <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/newsom-buys-ad-space-in-florida-desantis-campaign-responds">recent ad purchase</a> in Florida, Carolla said, “no one is leaving Florida and going to California. … people are voting with their feet.”
As The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/newsom-vacations-in-state-ca-banned-from-state-funded-travel-hasnt-said-who-paid-for-his-security">reported</a>, Newsom was visiting family in Montana, according to <a href="https://calmatters.org/newsletters/whatmatters/2022/07/gavin-newsom-montana/">Cal Matters</a>. Montana is one of at least 20 states prohibited from travel funded and sponsored by the state, per <a href="https://oag.ca.gov/ab1887">California Assembly Bill 1887</a>.
Anthony York, Newsom’s senior advisor for communications, told Cal Matters, “We don’t comment or provide details on the governor’s security.”
“We don’t legislate where people vacation,” York added. “Never have. The travel ban applies to expending state funds. The Governor’s travel is not being paid for by the state.”
Erin Mellon, communications director for Newsom, <a href="https://www.kcra.com/article/gov-newsom-is-visiting-family-in-montana-a-california-travel-ban-to-the-state-doesnt-apply-his-team-says/40532556#">told</a> KCRA, “It’s a personal trip,” adding, “The ban is on state-funded travel which this is not.” She said California’s ban on travel is applicable to “expending state funds.”

Patrick Warburton hilariously talked about taking a broom to a piñata of Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) — which he later revealed was a joke as Adam Carolla crushed Colin Kaepernick on the latest episode of &#8220;Adam Carolla Truth Yeller.&#8221;
During the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/episode/adam">latest episode</a>, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/william-shatner-talks-to-adam-carolla-about-his-frightening-extraordinary-trip-to-space-and-more">Carolla</a> spoke with Warburton — 57-year-old actor and former star of &#8220;Seinfeld&#8221; — about everything from the ridiculous move across the country to take down statues of our former generals and presidents to how CNN anchors scared everyone with each new COVID variant and more.
<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/adam-carolla-says-reason-why-kids-have-been-forced-to-mask-in-schools-is-much-worse-than-covid">Carolla</a> told the crowd how it had first started with Civil War generals like Robert E. Lee and eventually had come down to the Theodore Roosevelt statue.
&#8220;Bronze Teddy on top of bronze horse in front of the Natural History museum in New York and I was thinking about it, like I thought alright some of these generals may have been on the wrong side of history,&#8221; Adam shared. &#8220;But what did the horses do?&#8221;
&#8220;Could we at least leave the horses?&#8221; he added. &#8220;They weren&#8217;t slave owners, they&#8217;re just horses. And also it would be interesting because like when future civilizations studied our ruins they&#8217;d be like &#8216;they were a violent, glutinous, greedy people who loved horses.&#8221;
At the 12 minute mark the &#8220;Family Guy&#8221; star came out and the two hashed out all the major moments from the actor&#8217;s life like meeting his wife Cathy Jennings, doing weddings now, and including a weird story from Warburton that happened when he went camping one time in the High Sierras with his dad.
The mention of camping quickly turned into a dispute after Carolla claimed that after hundreds of camping trips, he had never seen a pretty woman — and Warburton wholeheartedly disagreed.

Patrick also talked about how his mom would pass out pamphlets in his neighborhood about the &#8220;sins of masturbation&#8221; when he was 13. Adam also talked about his childhood and shared whether his parents were supportive of him creatively.
The two superstars then played a game called &#8220;Problematic&#8221; which is a game designed to determine which &#8220;piece of woke nonsense people are complaining about now.&#8221;
Carolla got three out of three right after picking soy beans, the Jedi, and office air conditioning. It starts at the 27:56 minute mark and you can check out the episode to find out why.
The two took turns also taking a ball out of pit with words on it and that was the bit the two had to do. One of the balls picked was &#8220;Omicron.&#8221;
&#8220;Thank God we dedicated a week to getting our panties in a bunch about this one,&#8221; Carolla shared. &#8220;And I love seeing all these blowhards on CNN sitting there. You know my least favorite person on TV the last twenty months is not the doctor who&#8217;s waxing hard doom and gloom about the what  next variants going to be. And the kids, the kids, the kids and masking up two-year-olds and getting 5-year-olds vaccinated.&#8221;
&#8220;It&#8217;s not that guy,&#8221; he added. &#8220;It&#8217;s the CNN anchor who just looks and nods. I would jump in so many times if some blowhard just went &#8230; &#8216;let&#8217;s see in South Africa there&#8217;s three people who&#8217;ve gotten mild symptoms &#8230;'&#8221;
Warburton later talked about going to his sister and brother-in-law&#8217;s house, where he joked about how there was a piñata of Newsom at their house and he took a broom to it. The comments drew cheers from the crowd.
Later, Carolla called out former San Francisco 49ers&#8217; Colin Kaepermick for making a comparison of the NFL to slavery in a truth-telling take down of the former QB. It starts at the 51 minute mark.
&#8220;You can&#8217;t find racism everywhere,&#8221; the former host of &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/adam-carolla-blasts-bill-maher-audience-after-clapping-for-return-to-normal-shut-the-f-up-and-admit-you-were-wrong">The Man Show</a>.&#8221; &#8220;You&#8217;re ruining our society by trying to find racism everywhere. Please, Kaepernick, just get your checks from Nike and get your checks from Netlfix and just zip it, would ya?&#8221;
&#8220;You&#8217;re ruining black kids because you&#8217;re convincing them that they live in a society where they have a target on their back,&#8221; he added.  &#8220;So, this thing you&#8217;re getting rich on is poisoning the next generation of young black people who could be, who could be flourishing in the best society in the world for all races.&#8221;

Adam Carolla’s “Truth Yeller” pairs the legendary comedian with other big-name performers to have long, intriguing conversations about basic concepts. In one of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/episode/adamc">the latest installments</a>, the “Man Show” alum sat down with A-lister Dennis Quaid to dish about his career, raising sons versus daughters, and most importantly, share some laughs.
The best thing about “Truth Yeller” is that nothing is off the table for their conversation. Quaid and Carolla settle in to talk about everything from playing sports as kids to Quaid’s newest movie about Ronald Reagan. And yes, they also touch on Quaid’s “fugitive” brother Randy Quaid who the actor says he “thinks is somewhere in Vermont.” The pair agree that Carolla will work on luring Randy out of his self-imposed seclusion.
The pair chat in front of a live audience, giving the whole setup an intimate feel. 
During one segment, Quaid fishes conversation starters out of a large container and the duo riffs on whatever topic comes up. This is how Carolla seamlessly transitions from discussing hemorrhoids to talking about Neil Young and the Spotify debacle. 
“Please posers, can we just take a d*** day off with all the people that have to virtue signal and pose all the time?” Carolla asks to loud applause.
“Neil Young turned into Neil Old real g**d*** fast,” Carolla continues, referencing how the musician threatened to pull his music from the platform following the Joe Rogan controversy. “Neil Young – your job is to fight the man. The man is Fauci, the man is the WHO, the man is Joe Biden, the man is Kamala Harris. That’s the man! Gavin Newsom is the man. All these people, they’re locking up everyone and ruining their lives.” 
“Big pharma – that’s the man,” he says. “Not Joe Rogan. Joe Rogan is the opposite of &#8216;the man.&#8217;”
“It’s about free speech,” Quaid agrees. 
“You’ve reimagined McCarthyism in 2022,” Carolla continues. “There’s only one remedy. There’s only one thing that’s effective with these people, which is you cannot apologize. That’s all they want.”
He went on, discussing his tactic for not getting canceled. 
“Every time I get into trouble – and I get into trouble from time to time – and everyone says everything to me. They call me all the worst words. But they never ask me to apologize. And you wanna know why? Because I never apologize. And they leave you alone.” 
Signing on for “Truth Yeller” was a big step for Carolla, who claims to be unable to be canceled because he just doesn’t care. That’s where the lack of apologies come in.

‘You Cannot Apologize’: Adam Carolla And Dennis Quaid Drop Truth Bombs On New ‘Truth Yeller’ Episode

William Shatner spoke to Adam Carolla about his &#8220;frightening&#8221; and &#8220;extraordinary&#8221; trip to outer space as the two got into a heated debated about government&#8217;s role in saving the earth, origins of &#8220;Let&#8217;s Go Brandon&#8221; and so much more.
During the latest episode of &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/episode/adam-carolla">Adam Carolla&#8217;s Truth Yeller</a>&#8221; on the Daily Wire, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/adam-carolla-says-reason-why-kids-have-been-forced-to-mask-in-schools-is-much-worse-than-covid">Carolla</a> praised DW for &#8220;stepping up and standing behind free speech&#8221; as he shared that more and more tech companies like Twitter are participating in the cancel culture.
&#8220;And Neil Young can kiss my ass,&#8221; the host of the show said, referencing how the singer had issued a threat to pull his music from Spotify unless they removed Joe Rogan from platform. However, despite pulling a number of older episodes from the platform, Spotify did nothing to sever ties with Rogan.
Adam then introduced Shatner, the 90-year-old legendary actor, who he said was the oldest man to ever travel to space as he cracked a joke about how his father, who&#8217;s the same age as the superstar, wouldn&#8217;t be leaving this planet any time soon.
The &#8220;Star Trek&#8221; star said the &#8220;worst thing about going into space&#8221; was having to go &#8220;up the 11 flights&#8221; of stairs to get onboard Jeff Bezos&#8217; Blue Origin rocket. It starts at the 20:37  minute mark.
&#8220;So, space what was that like?&#8221; the former TV host asked the sci-fi actor.
&#8220;It was frightening,&#8221; Shatner admitted of being on board the trip to outer space. &#8220;Truly it was an extraordinary experience.&#8221;
&#8220;All I saw was blackness and death,&#8221; he added, about what he saw in front of him as he left earth. &#8220;And I looked back and that was life [earth]. And one other thing I saw the beginning of the circumference of the earth&#8230; I could continue that circle and I&#8217;m looking at the rock. I&#8217;m looking at everything we live on.&#8221;
The actor said after he touched down back on earth he tried to figure out why the experience had been so emotional. He said it was then two things hit him.  The first was the &#8220;truth of the unity of nature&#8221; and our belonging to earth &#8220;which is our only home and the way that we&#8217;re destroying it.&#8221;
And second, he said was about &#8220;how small the earth&#8221; is and &#8220;how small we are&#8221; on this small earth.
&#8220;And then upon further reflection &#8230; but how awesome it is that we can reflect on how little we are on this little rock,&#8221; William explained. &#8220;We can look at the majesty of nature and that&#8217;s a human gift.&#8221;
The &#8220;Boston Legal&#8221; star then found himself in hot water with the audience when he said people are &#8220;destroying&#8221; the earth and that we need &#8220;government to fix the problem&#8221; of getting &#8220;carbon and methane out of the air.&#8221;
Shatner said it&#8217;s Bezos dream to get &#8220;polluting industries up into space.&#8221;
The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/adam-carolla-blasts-bill-maher-audience-after-clapping-for-return-to-normal-shut-the-f-up-and-admit-you-were-wrong">former host</a> of &#8220;The Man Show&#8221; came back with his thoughts that he&#8217;s not &#8220;relying on the government to do&#8221; it and called on people like Elon Musk and Bezos to. The comments drew cheers from the crowd.
Shatner said Bezos and Musk are doing it but that we &#8220;have to rely on government&#8221; and got booed by crowd.
&#8220;But only the government has the power … the enormity … in combination with you as an articulate spokesperson for the people,&#8221; Shatner argued through the booing.
&#8220;Bill, let me give you a tip, if you ever get in trouble with the crowd just yell &#8216;Let&#8217;s Go Brandon,&#8221; Carolla replied, as the two discussed the origin of the saying.
&#8220;You know the origin of that right,&#8221; Shatner replied. &#8220;It&#8217;s f*** you Biden,&#8221; Shatner replied. &#8220;Have I endeared myself &#8230;?&#8221;
Later in the show, Carolla gave credit to the reporter covering the NASCAR race who he said was quick on her feet when the crowd was chanting &#8220;f*** Joe Biden&#8221; in the background and she said they were saying &#8220;let&#8217;s go Brandon&#8221; for driver Brandon Brown instead.
Near the end of the show during the Truth Yelling segment, Carolla let loose on what he called so-called &#8220;homeless advocates&#8221; who he said are doing &#8220;jack squat.&#8221;
&#8220;Have they helped the homeless?&#8221; the former host of &#8220;Loveline&#8221; asked the audience, as he compared the so-called advocates to what Al Sharpton does for the black community.
&#8220;How can you solve a problem if you don&#8217;t understand the problem,&#8221; Carolla explained, noting the advocates aren&#8217;t honest about the face of homeless being &#8220;a junky insane person&#8221; not a single mom out of work as he said they claim.
&#8220;Homelessness I think about, it&#8217;s the title,&#8221; he added. &#8220;We got to start thinking about. It does not have to do with not having a home. It&#8217;s like gun violence&#8230;that has to do with violent people not guns.  Gun violence is the same as homeless. The problems isn&#8217;t the homes, the problem isn&#8217;t the guns.&#8221;
&#8220;It&#8217;s what people do with the guns and what people do on the street,&#8221; Carolla concluded.  &#8220;It&#8217;s not the houses&#8217; fault. It&#8217;s not the guns&#8217; fault. The only answer for the gun violence and the homelessness problem, it&#8217;s intact families.&#8221;
