<p>Rapper Curtis James Jackson III — better known to most simply as 50 Cent — said he was ready to put up six figures if it would get Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani to leave New York City.</p>
<p>Mamdani, who pulled out a surprise win against disgraced former Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) in the Democratic primary, made a recent appearance on the popular radio show &#8220;The Breakfast Club&#8221; with host Charlamagne the God. While there, he promoted his economic vision for New York City — which included raising the corporate tax rate and hitting the top one percent with additional income taxes.</p>
<p>&#8220;We’re talking about corporations that are making millions of dollars, not in revenue, but in profit,&#8221; Mamdani explained. &#8220;And the second is taxing the top 1% of New Yorkers. We’re talking about people who make a million dollars a year or more, taxing them just by a flat 2% tax increase.&#8221;</p>
<p>He even took a moment to call out the rapper directly — and 50 Cent made it clear in his response that he was not impressed.</p>
<p>&#8220;I know if 50 Cent is listening, he’s not going to be happy about this. He tends to not like this tax policy, but I want to be very clear this is about $20,000 a year,&#8221; Mamdani said.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Rapper 50 Cent said he would talk to President Donald Trump about the Sean “Diddy” Combs case after Trump did not rule out an executive pardon last week.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The recording artist, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, posted about the situation on his Instagram Reels on Friday. “He said some really bad things about Trump, it’s not ok. I’m gonna reach out so he knows how I feel about this guy,” Jackson wrote, per </span><a href="https://nypost.com/2025/06/01/us-news/50-cent-vows-to-dissuade-trump-from-potential-diddy-pardon/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">the New York Post</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Donald doesn’t take well to disrespect, and doesn’t forget who chooses to go against him,” the rapper added in a follow-up.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Combs is currently on trial in New York City for sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Details of his sex life have been revealed during the testimony of his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, including graphic details of the drug-fueled sex parties known as “freak offs.” </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ventura said Combs insisted she reapply baby oil every five minutes to appear “glistening,” as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/diddy-trial-combs-ex-girlfriend-cassie-ventura-shares-graphic-details-of-freak-offs">reported</a>. The rapper’s ex of 11 years also said Combs once made her get into an inflatable pool filled with baby oil.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">50 Cent used that detail to create AI-generated images of Combs sitting in pools of baby oil. He shared those on Instagram along with his thoughts on the proceedings, writing, “Damn he did all that sh** to go out like this, [shaking my head].”</span></p>

Just after Combs was arrested last year, his former friend </span><a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DABjyapOfTF/?igsh=MWpydGFwcWFqbnc4bw%3D%3D"><span style="font-weight: 400;">shared</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> on Instagram, “Here I am keeping good company with [The Drew Barrymore Show]. And I don’t have 1,000 bottles of lube at the house.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This comment came after it was revealed that investigators uncovered </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/diddys-lawyer-attempts-to-justify-those-1000-bottles-of-baby-oil-suggests-they-came-from-costco"><span style="font-weight: 400;">more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> and lubricant at Combs’ properties, which were allegedly used during the “freak offs.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Attorney Marc Agnifilo, a member of Combs’ legal team, first tried to downplay the number of baby oil bottles recovered, then attempted to justify his client having so many.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“If these are genuinely threesomes, how do you explain the thousand bottles of baby oil?” TMZ founder Harvey Levin asked during the TMZ Studios documentary “The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I don’t know where the number of a thousand came…” Agnifilo answered, prompting Levin to quickly reply, “The U.S. attorney said it.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I’m not really sure what the baby oil has to do with anything,” Diddy’s attorney said next. Levin mentioned how it’s being held up as evidence of the orgies that allegedly took place. Agnifilo said, “A little bit goes a long way” when it comes to lubricant.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I don’t know what you need 1,000 for,” the lawyer said. “He has a big house, he buys in bulk. You know, I think there are Costcos in every place where he has a home. I mean, have you sat in the parking lot of a Costco and seen what people walk out of there with?”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Not 1,000 bottles of baby oil,” Levin responded.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I don’t think it was 1,000,” Agnilio said again. “Let’s just say it was a lot, OK?”</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the Rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured,” he added. “It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Nothing is known at this time about the shooter, who is now dead,” Trump continued. “I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. While there, the recording artist said black men are “identifying with” presidential hopeful Donald Trump over President Joe Biden.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The 48-year-old </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/entertainment"><span style="font-weight: 400;">celebrity</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, stated his opinions from the perspective of a business person and liquor company owner. 50 Cent appeared with famed civil rights attorney Ben Crump to promote black representation in the liquor industry. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“This is really exciting for me to be here. I got a chance to meet with both sides today, and it feels really good,” he </span><a href="https://www.usatoday.com/videos/news/politics/2024/06/05/50-cent-promotes-black-representation-in-liquor-industry-at-us-capitol/73989728007/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">said</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">. “[Lawmakers] don’t agree on a lot of stuff, and so to get them to agree on seeing me was an accomplishment in itself.”</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When CBS News congressional correspondent Nikole Killion </span><a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/video/rapper-50-cent-black-men-identifying-with-trump/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">asked</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> about who he’s endorsing in the upcoming presidential election, the rapper said he hasn’t made a choice yet. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">50 Cent also said he believes black men could be more likely to back Trump now. “I see them identifying with Trump. Because they got RICO charges,” he told Killion, referring to a RICO charge in the Georgia election interference case.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As he mentioned, the rapper met with representatives on both sides of the political aisle during his visit. He posted a photo of himself with Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) to X. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A woman allegedly gave birth on the floor at a </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/50-cent"><span style="font-weight: 400;">50 Cent</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> concert earlier this month in Washington state.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Medics on duty at the RV Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater went to assist the unnamed person when they say she “appeared to be in distress,” as </span><a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/09/19/woman-gives-birth-to-daughter-at-50-cent-concert/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Page Six</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> reports. It was quickly determined that the woman in question was in labor and was apparently too far along to be transported to a medical facility. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The outlet reported that staff members created a “human curtain” around the </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/pregnant"><span style="font-weight: 400;">laboring mother</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> until other employees were able to procure sheets for privacy.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“The baby girl was born on site, and the mother and child were then transported to the hospital,” a source told Page Six. “As of last report, all are well.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The 48-year-old </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/entertainment"><span style="font-weight: 400;">rapper</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> is currently on a tour called “The Final Lap” which features Busta Rhymes and Jeremih. The tour kicked off in Salt Lake City in July and will have its last North American show on Friday in Toronto. 50 Cent will resume the tour at the end of September in Amsterdam.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Concert attendees going into labor at shows is nothing new. In August, an Albany resident named Angela Meyer had the same thing happen to her while she was at a Pink concert at Fenway Park in Boston, as The Daily Wire previously </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/woman-goes-into-labor-at-a-pink-concert-walks-to-the-hospital-to-give-birth"><span style="font-weight: 400;">reported</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“At only 31 weeks pregnant, Angela hadn’t been expecting her son’s arrival quite yet, but she started having contractions shortly after arriving for the show. She called her doctor, who advised her to get to a hospital,” a statement from Brigham &amp; Women’s Hospital said in part.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“With all the traffic surrounding Fenway for the concert, Angela had trouble finding a ride to the hospital. She and her family decided the fastest way to get to Brigham and Women’s was to walk – and so, decked out in their concert outfits, they made the trek to our hospital where Angela later delivered her son in the Brigham’s NICU.”</span></p>

<p>The 48-year-old rapper, born Curtis James Jackson III, was performing at his  &#8220;The Final Lap&#8221; tour and had called out his surprise guest Los Angeles native rapper, YG. During the set, YG was rapping when Jackson&#8217;s mic had apparently stopped working, <a href="https://people.com/50-cent-injures-fan-throwing-microphone-off-stage-7964446?utm_campaign=peoplemagazine&amp;utm_content=new&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter.com&amp;utm_term=64f0f326062cd50001fa95d1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People magazine</a> reported.</p>

<p>Images later surfaced of the women allegedly struck by one of the mics, Power 106 host Bryhana Monegain, the outlet noted. Pictures show Monegain with blood on her face and a large gash in her forehead. She was reportedly standing in the production area where his crew was <a href="https://ktla.com/entertainment/50-cent-throws-mic-injures-woman-at-crypto-com-arena-concert/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">located</a>, <a href="https://people.com/50-cent-injures-fan-throwing-microphone-off-stage-7964446?utm_campaign=peoplemagazine&amp;utm_content=new&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter.com&amp;utm_term=64f0f326062cd50001fa95d1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a> noted. Bryhana reportedly ended up going to the hospital to deal with the injury.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/08/31/50-cent-microphone-throws-fan-concert-hits-fan-head/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TMZ</a> later reported that the superstar rapper was a suspect in a criminal felony battery report after Monegain filed a police report. However, Variety reported that they had been unable to confirm with Los Angeles Police Department whether a report had been filed or not.</p>
<p>Law enforcement sources told KTLA that when 50 Cent threw the mic, they believe he was intending to throw it to his crew members in the AV area and did not mean to hit Monegain. The radio host reportedly told police 50 cent allegedly &#8220;looked directly at her before&#8221; he threw the microphone, TMZ noted.</p>
<p>The rapper&#8217;s attorney, Scott Leemon, told Variety, &#8220;Let&#8217;s be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone. Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed.&#8221;</p>
<p>The rapper&#8217;s tour kicked off in July with the European leg set to begin next month in Amsterdam. It will wrap up in December in New Zealand.</p>

<p>The 48-year-old famed performer, born Curtis Jackson, posted a screenshot on Monday on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/Cv5KX-4OGAj/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram</a> to his 29.5 million followers of the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/watch-dozens-ransack-los-angeles-nordstorm-in-100000-smash-and-grab-heist" target="_blank" rel="noopener">news report</a> about dozens of masked and hooded suspects who had ransacked a Nordstrom department store over the weekend. Initial reports said $100,000 worth of goods were taken, but that number has now tripled.</p>

<p>Jackson&#8217;s post included a video of the news report about a court reinstating a zero-bail policy for some crimes in L.A. County. The report included Deputy District Attorney John McKinney saying, &#8220;The Sheriff&#8217;s Department will no longer detain people for crimes such as theft, shoplifting, drug use, vandalism, battery, and a whole host of other non-serious, non-violent crimes that affect the quality of life of people here in Los Angeles County.&#8221;</p>
<p>In a later post, 50 Cent questioned one outlet that had <a href="https://deadline.com/2023/07/50-cent-says-los-angeles-finished-by-no-bail-policy-watch-how-bad-it-gets-out-there-instagram-1235432741/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> on his comments, noting that his take was interesting because the rapper had had previous run-ins with the law.</p>

<p>Famed rapper Curtis Jackson, better known as 50 Cent, declared the Democrat-controlled city of Los Angeles &#8220;finished&#8221; after the city reinstated zero-bail policy.</p>
<p>A Superior Court judge issued the order in late May after several plaintiffs filed a class action lawsuit claiming that they suffered &#8220;negative consequences because they could not afford bail, including missed work, separation from their families and lapsed medical care,&#8221; according to <a href="https://ktla.com/news/local-news/zero-bail-policy-reinstated-in-los-angeles-county/">KTLA</a>.</p>
<p>&#8220;LA is finished,&#8221; Jackson wrote in an Instagram post that included a news segment. &#8220;Watch how bad it gets out there.&#8221;</p>
<p>In the video that Jackson posted to Instagram, the narrator says that &#8220;the sheriff&#8217;s department will no longer detain people for crimes such as theft, shoplifting, drug use, vandalism, battery, and a whole host of other non-serious, non-violent crimes that affect the quality of life of people here in Los Angeles County.&#8221;</p>
<p>The news clip said that many people will be released immediately and will not have to pay bail before their arraignment.</p>
<p>La deputy DA John McKinney explains that due to judge Lawrence riffs rolling, many people arrested will be released immediately, without having to pay bail before their arraignment</p>
<p>The judge reportedly urged local officials to testify and explain to him why he should not issue the order and &#8220;he was surprised when no one stood up to challenge it,&#8221; the narrator says.</p>
<p>&#8220;No one challenged it, not LAPD Chief Michael Moore, LA County Sheriff Robert Luna, or District Attorney George Gascogne,&#8221; the news clip added.</p>

<p>In a Tuesday announcement on Twitter, the rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, said that moved to Houston despite his love for New York.</p>

<p>“WHAT THE F***! (VOTE ForTRUMP),” the rapper, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, posted on Instagram. “I’M OUT. F*** NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway.”</p>
<p>“I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people,” he added, “62% are you out of ya f***ing mind.”</p>
<p>Shortly thereafter, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/50-cent-doubles-down-against-biden-tax-plan-i-dont-want-to-be-20-cent">the rapper doubled down</a> when he agreed with Trump senior adviser Katrina Pierson that he “don’t want to be 20cent.”</p>
<p>“Yeah, I don’t want to be 20cent. 62% is a very, very bad idea. I don’t like it,” he tweeted.</p>
<p>In response to his Trump support, comedian Chelsea Handler, who used to date the rapper, tweeted that he “used to be my favorite ex-boyfriend” and then went on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon to pat herself on the back for reminding him that he “was a black person.”</p>
<p>“So he doesn’t want to pay 625 in taxes because he doesn’t want to go from ’50 Cent’ to ’20 Cent’ and I had to remind him that he was a black person, so he can’t vote for Donald Trump and that he shouldn’t be influencing an entire swath of people who may listen to him because he’s worried about his own personal pocketbook,“ Handler said.</p>
<p>In the same interview, Handler also said that she is “willing to seal the deal in more ways than one if he changes his mind and publically denounced Donald Trump.”</p>
<p>“I might be willing to go for another spin if you know what I mean,” Handler added.</p>
<p>Immediately after, the rapper tweeted in response, “Another spin F**k Donald Trump, I never liked him,” <a href="https://twitter.com/50cent/status/1320184040654295040" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">he wrote</a>. “For all I know he had me set up and had my friend Angel Fernandez killed but that’s history. LOL.”</p>
<p>Speaking with <a href="https://extratv.com/2020/11/16/50-cent-chelsea-handler-trump/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Extra</a>, 50 Cent said that he turned down a chance to attend the 2017 inauguration to highlight his anti-Trump bona fides. “I turned down a million dollars to go to the inauguration [in 2017] — why would I just switch gears now?” the rapper said.</p>
