Leftists Accuse The Woman Sitting Behind Brett Kavanaugh Of Giving A White Power Symbol. Just One Problem.

   DailyWire.com

She’s been called “one of the most beautiful people” in D.C. and now she’s being accused of giving a white power symbol during Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing.

Her name is Zina Bash, a former Kavanaugh clerk and judicial mover who’s been working in D.C. since 2007. According to Heavy, she also served as director of Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) failed presidential campaign in 2016 before going on to serve the Trump administration as “Special Assistant to the President for regulatory reform, legal and immigration policy.”

Shortly after that appointment, Bash was announced by the National Law Journal to be a member of Kavanaugh’s confirmation team and is said to have assisted the judge in his preparation for the hearings.

According to leftists, though, she’s a white supremacist for giving what they interpreted as a subtle shout-out to her Aryan peeps with a white power symbol:

The “OK” gesture has been referred to as a white supremacist sign in some conspiracy theory circles. According to Wikipedia, however, it began as a standard hoax on a 4Chan imageboard “to convince mainstream media outlets that the OK hand gesture had been hijacked for use by white supremacists to signal one another publicly.” The Anti Defamation League (ADL) went so far as to list it as a hate symbol along with other media outlets before eventually recanting their statements. White House advisor Stephen Miller had a similar accusation leveled against him before it was debunked by Snopes.

Amy Siskind, the woman who began the charge against Bash for her alleged white supremacy, has trafficked in fake news and conspiracy theories before. One time, she accused a “racist white mother” of beating up an elderly Mexican man when the primary suspect was a 30-year-old black woman.

Regarding Bash and her supposed white supremacist bona fides, Siskind and the leftists blasting her should have done their research. Not only is she half Mexican by way of her mom, her paternal grandparents are also Holocaust survivors:

Indeed, Bash’s father, Dr. Lawrence Richard Gelman, is a “second-generation Polish-American Jew whose parents barely escaped the Holocaust and found solace in America,” according to Empower Texans.

Married to John Bash III, a U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Texas, The Hill counted Zina among its list of “50 Most Beautiful People in Washington” back in 2017. Those familiar with the documentary “The Hoax of Man-Made Global Warming” would know her father, who wrote and produced the film. Above the Law lists her as being “ridiculously rich,” and now she’s ridiculously viral, with leftists hating on her at every turn:
