Earlier this week I was scrolling through my Facebook page and came across something bothersome. A “friend” of mine had posted a picture of her graduation cap decorated with the words “The Future is Female.” This phrase had always troubled me; seeing it displayed on t-shirts always made me feel very uneasy. Therefore, when I saw this graduation cap with this sound bite posted with a link to donate to Planned Parenthood, I began to think about what it truly means.
When so-called “feminists” state that the future is female, they are showing their true colors. This movement is no longer about creating equal opportunities for men and woman, but it is obsessed with claiming that women are superior to men and that all men are worthless.
Feminism has been perverted into an effort that is not only antagonistic toward men, but also toward any women who do not share their twisted viewpoints. For example, the movie Wonder Woman was an excellent film depicting female power, yet feminists were not satisfied. To the contrary, they were outraged by the fact that the female lead cooed at a baby and fell in love with a man. According to them, women should not like babies or hope to have children because G-d forbid a family should “get in the way” of a career. Additionally, the feminists preach that all women must hate men in order to be considered “brave.”
The feminist movement is no longer about women choosing their own path, but about despising marriage and motherhood. It is no longer simply fighting for the equality of sexes.
The feminist obsession with abortion is absolutely horrific. It is not enough for them that abortion is an option; the killing of babies is viewed as a badge of honor. Lena Dunham has been quoted saying she wishes she had an abortion. To the modern feminist, abortion is not only brave, it is admirable.
The horrendous nature of this ideology cannot be downplayed. Motherhood is a beautiful trait that is unique to women. A woman’s biology is designed specifically for this purpose. This is not to say that a woman must have a child or become a mother. However, to celebrate and encourage a mother killing her child goes against feminine nature. Celebrating abortion is by definition anti-women.
The phrase “The Future is Female” troubles me because it is with these words that the feminists prove they have no interest in equality. They could easily state “The Future is equality,” yet they shout these specific words to alert us all to their true end goal. If the future is female, then what about men?
According to feminists, men should have no positions of power. After the 2016 election, when Hillary lost, what did the feminists have to say? Did they point to the fact that she was an awful candidate? A liar? Of course not. The reason Hillary Clinton lost was because America is sexist! The only plausible reason why this dreadful fraud was not our president was because she is a woman. If America were not sexist, then Hillary should be president. Why? Simply because she has an XX chromosome.
This mentality of “all men are worthless” is extremely dangerous. Just because women have not had equal opportunities in the past does not provide a good reason to state that men are insignificant. Obviously, men play an extremely vital role in society and there is no need to protest every time a man defeats a woman in a race for a job or whenever a male-led superhero movie comes out.
As someone who grew up in a house with three brothers and an excellent father, I am always appalled by the man-bashing that is rampant among feminists. It is pathetic to proclaim that women are superior beings and men are no good. What kind of messages are we sending to young children, especially little boys? When feminists decorate t-shirts and graduation caps with “The future is female” they leave no room for exceptions. To the modern feminist little boys are just as useless as men.
What happened to fighting for equal treatment? Somewhere along the way feminism became a distorted movement with a warped sense of society and reality. Anyone who thinks men have no place in society is seriously misguided and extremely naïve. Fighting for equality is one thing, but putting down men simply because of their gender is … well, the definition of sexist.
Good job feminists: you have come full circle.
