Elon Musk is rich. He smoked weed on Joe Rogan’s podcast. He shoots rockets into space — and sends meme coins to the moon (#hodl). He makes badass cars that are good for the planet. He digs big holes, sells flame throwers, and names his children after aircraft. And on occasion, he owns a lib.
I may be old-fashioned, but that’s pretty awesome stuff. I certainly don’t agree with all his antics, but objectively speaking, he is interesting and he is contributing to society in a positive way (a hell of a lot more than any of his critics). He’s at times unpredictable, it’s not that he’s out of control, it’s that he can’t be controlled. And nothing will drive a progressive madder than a person they can’t control.
