Black pro-lifers are apparently both racist and sexist, according to their pro-choice counterparts.
During a protest at the University of Sydney Campus last week, an “intersectional feminist” club called the Women’s Collective gathered in protest against LifeChoice Australia director Rebecca Gosper’s talk, titled “Abortion: The Exploitation of Women.”
The merry band of feminists shouted chants while waving signs typically seen at these events: “Get your rosaries off our ovaries!” and “Pro-life, your name’s a lie, you don’t care if women die!” Speakers also called pro-life laws “oppression” while passing out free condoms. At one point during the protest, the pro-choicers targeted a black pro-life student named A.J., pelting her with chants like “Racist, sexist, anti-gay, Christian fascists go away!”
Video released from LifeChoice shows A.J. confronting the chant leader, Lily Rosebell, for referring to her as “racist” and she responds by shoving her megaphone into A.J.’s face.
“Well, I’d like to argue that denying women abortion rights and arguing that gay people should go through conversion therapy, is that civil?” Rosebell responded. “This is outright discrimination, outright oppression.”
“This is the end of LifeChoice, and we say that you people are not welcome on campus and we are going to protest you whenever you turn up,” Rosebell continued. “And yeah you are racist, and yeah you are sexist, and yeah you are anti-gay.”
”You realize I’m black,” A.J. responded. “How can I be racist against myself?”
Rosebell just simply walked past A.J. and continued her shrieking chant.
“Well, I can see you’re wearing a LifeChoice shirt, so clearly you’re a f***wit,” she said a bit later.
As noted by LifeSiteNews, LifeChoice Australia “makes no reference to ‘conversion therapy’ on its website, and its only references to homosexuality or transgenderism are posts warning about the use of abortion and euthanasia to exterminate both groups.”
