WATCH: While Tourists Hate On Trump’s Hollywood Star, Look Whose Star Is Ignored

   DailyWire.com

Man-on-the-street reporter Austin Fletcher of Fleccas Talks had some fun in Hollywood on Memorial Day weekend highlighting the anti-Trump sentiment that’s raging stronger than ever on the Left Coast.

In a video he posted online Monday, tourists at the Hollywood Walk of Fame stop to find various creative and uncreative ways to show their orthodox liberal hatred for Trump. But Fleccas notes that the star of a now-notorious celebrity right next to Trump who has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons over the last year didn’t seem to elicit any acts of protest from tourists.

“While tourists take hateful pictures at Trump’s Star on Hollywood Blvd. look whose star goes unnoticed…” wrote Fletcher.

Kevin Spacey’s fall from grace was as dramatic and fast as any celebrity post-Harvey Weinstein. The acclaimed actor has been accused by multiple men of sexual misconduct over the years. The first allegation came in an interview published by BuzzFeed in which actor Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of carrying him to a bed and forcing himself on top of him before Rapp managed to get away. Rapp was just 14 at the time, while Spacey was 26:

In an interview with BuzzFeed News, Rapp is publicly alleging for the first time that in 1986, Spacey befriended Rapp while they both performed on Broadway shows, invited Rapp over to his apartment for a party, and, at the end of the night, picked Rapp up, placed him on his bed, and climbed on top of him, making a sexual advance. According to public records, Spacey was 26. Rapp was 14.

In response, Spacey said in a much-criticized statement that while he doesn’t remember that night, he apologizes for what may have been his “deeply inappropriate drunken behavior.” Then, in a move that earned the condemnation of GLAAD, Spacey “deflected” by pivoting to make his first ever public declaration that he has been involved in several “romantic encounters with men” and now “choose[s] to live as a gay man.”

“Coming out stories should not be used to deflect from allegations of sexual assault,” said GLAAD CEO Sarah Kate Ellis, president and CEO of GLAAD in a statement. “This is not a coming out story about Kevin Spacey, but a story of survivorship by Anthony Rapp and all those who bravely speak out against unwanted sexual advances. The media and public should not gloss over that.”

Since Rapp first made the allegation, other people have accused Spacey of similar behavior, including the son of Richard Dreyfuss.
