The increasingly more entertaining death match between the former hosts of The Celebrity Apprentice, former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and current president Donald Trump, has added another round, this time initiated by the Governator, who took to Twitter to troll his nemesis (and promote his nonprofit).
“Oh, Donald, the ratings are in, and you got swamped. Wow. Now you’re in the thirties?” says Schwarzenegger in a video post, apparently referencing the latest Gallup poll showing Trump’s job approval numbers dipping under 40 percent.
“But what do you expect? I mean when you take away after school programs for children and meals on wheels for the poor people, that’s not what you call ‘making America great again’. Come on!” he adds, a reference to the false claim that Trump is killing Meals on Wheels.
“I mean, who is advising you?” says the former host of the show Trump created. “Let me give you some advice: go to a middle school — the Hart Middle School, right in Washington, six miles away from the White House. I’ll take you there, so you can see the fantastic work that they’re doing for these children. Let’s do it, huh?”
Schwarzenegger tags the post with a link to the After-School All-Stars program he helped found, which provides “comprehensive after-school programs that keep children safe and help them succeed in school and in life.”
