WATCH: Rachel Maddow ‘Collusion Delusion’ Video By Greg Gutfeld Goes Viral

   DailyWire.com

Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld recently put together a little montage of MSNBC’s biggest star pushing the Trump-Russia collusion narrative that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s final report has now thoroughly debunked — and it’s gone viral for obvious reasons.

The video features host Rachel Maddow repeatedly promoting various Russia conspiracy theories, some of them off the wall even by MSNBC’s standards. Maddow also really gets into counting down the dropping of the next supposed “collusion” “bomb” that will finally take down Trump, or something. WATCH:

Maddow’s ratings have soared over the last two years amid the left-wing media-inflamed “collusion” hysteria. Since William Barr issued his summary of Mueller’s findings last week, however, Maddow’s ratings have taken a hit, plummeting by over a fifth.

But, as even left-wing outlets are beginning to lament, Maddow is still sticking to the narrative — most recently, pushing the idea that Barr may be manipulating the information in the Mueller report by supposedly choosing what to redact and what to release on his own. The only problem with the theory is that it’s untrue. Maddow’s own show producers revealed in a chyron — as Maddow was pushing the conspiratorial claim — that Barr is in fact working with Mueller’s team in the redaction process, as the screengrab below shows (h/t Hot Air; full segment below):

Last week, Attorney General Barr revealed that after 2 years, 2,800 subpoenas, and nearly 500 witness interviews and search warrants, the special counsel “did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election” nor did it conclude that Trump obstructed justice.

“The Special Counsel’s investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election,” Barr wrote in his summary report. “As the report states: ‘[T]he investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.'” On Mueller’s findings on potential obstruction, Barr wrote that the special counsel “did not draw a conclusion — one way or the other — as to whether the examined conduct constituted obstruction.”

The “bombshell” has shaken a media that devoted an inordinate amount of time to the narrative. In the aftermath, Gutfeld has been hammering his colleagues for their “collusion denial,” repeatedly addressing their responses to Mueller’s exhaustive investigation on air and trolling them online.

“Most of the media were betting on the opposite,” he said of Mueller’s findings in a monologue over the weekend. “No one has been this wrong since God made tonsils.” He then played clips of various media personalities declaring confidently that Trump was guilty of “treason,” “collusion,” and “conspiring with the Russians.”

“Collusion Delusion was my favorite Guns N’ Roses record,” Gutfeld tweeted last week. On Trump’s victory lap, he wrote: “So far — this isn’t a victory lap, it’s a victory ass-kicking.”

Here’s Gutfeld addressing the media’s “collusion denial” in another monologue earlier in the week:
