Larry David “could give a f***” if Trump supporters feel alienated from his hit HBO show “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
In a recent episode of the show, Larry David’s fictionalized version of himself hilariously donned a “Make America Great Again” hat as the “perfect people repellent” to avoid meeting with people. Though the joke made no judgment either way about Trump or his supporters, David was asked in a recent interview if he worried that his use of the hat would alienate Trump supporters.
“There are people that wear the MAGA hat and like what the MAGA hat represents. Are you afraid about alienating them? They could be fans of the show?” Michael Kay asked Larry David in the interview shared by journalist Jimmy Traina.
“Alienate yourself. Go, go and alienate! You have my blessing. No, I could give a f***,” David replied, as reported by Fox News.

Jimmy Traina shared the interview of Larry David in the wake of President Trump proudly sharing a clip from the show in which the comedian angers a leather-clad biker on the highway only to discover that the biker becomes friendly after David reveals his MAGA hat. “TOUGH GUYS FOR TRUMP!” the president tweeted.
“What the f*** are you doing?!?” the biker asks David in the clip. “You little f***er.”
“I’m sorry, I didn’t see you,” David responds.
“I got to rip you out of that f***ing car. You little s***,” the biker angrily retorts.
David lowers his window and dons his MAGA hat, which softens the biker’s attitude.
“Just be more careful next time, OK?” the biker then nicely says.
“Will do, will do,” David responds.

The president has since been taking flak for sharing the clip, with critics assuming he was unaware that Larry David meant it as an insult. But the episode itself equally skewered the Hollywood Left’s blind antipathy toward Trump supporters by showing Larry David’s friends react in disgust after seeing him wear a MAGA hat.
“This is basically free advertising for Larry David’s show ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ where he demonstrates how the Trump MAGA hat is great for soothing angry racist douchebags and keeping people away. What a spectacular self-own,” tweeted Dr. Eugene Gu.
“You do know that this video is making fun of you & your cult, right?” tweeted actress Nancy Lee Grahn.
“Imagine thinking the guy on the motorcycle is tough because he’s bullying an old man. But here we are,” tweeted actress Angela Belcamino.
Comedian Larry David has been outspoken in his criticism of Trump and support for socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Speaking on Stephen Colbert recently, Larry David, who plays Sanders on “Saturday Night Live” (SNL), said that Bernie would be “great for the country.”
“I would say, I would beg him to drop out so I don’t have to keep flying in from Los Angeles to do SNL,” David said. “I thought when he had the heart attack that would be it, I wouldn’t have to fly in from Los Angeles. But, you know, he’s indestructible. Nothing stops this man! If he wins, do you know what that’s going to do to my life? Do you have any idea? I mean, it will be great for the country — great for the country. Terrible for me.”
