WATCH: Brazil Presidential Candidate Stabbed At Rally

Leading Brazil presidential candidate Jair Bolsonaro was stabbed Thursday during a rally in Rio De Janeiro.

In a short clip posted to Twitter, Bolsonaro can be seen being carried through a crowd before an unidentified person stabs him in the chest.

Bolsonaro’s son says his father is recovering.

The former military officer is considered a far-right populist and is currently leading the polls. He opposes abortion and same-sex marriage and has compared himself to U.S. President Donald Trump. Naturally, this makes the U.S. media hate him.
