Julia-Louis Dreyfus, known for playing Elaine Benes on Seinfeld and for currently starring in HBO’s comedy Veep, was delighted to receive a fan note from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2013. However, the release of several Clinton emails stemming from the FBI investigation into the infamous server scandal revealed that not only had the twice failed Democratic presidential candidate not seen a single episode of Veep, she did not even know who Dreyfus was at the time.
Appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Friday, she told the host about the awkward incident of finding out on social media that Clinton had never heard of her.
