United Airlines is working to become the woke-est airline of the friendly skies. In addition to cutting off the NRA while directing funds to the abortion conglomerate Planned Parenthood, United Airlines will now be donating flights to reunited illegal immigrant families separated at the Southern Border.
The Hill reports that the pro-immigration lobbying group FWD.us announced the airline’s decision in a Facebook post, calling it “needed, timely, and critical.” FWD.us was founded by tech billionaires Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates, along with Dropbox’s Drew Houston.
“A growing community of support is coming together to reunite families who were separated at the border,” the group posted Wednesday. “We are so thankful and happy to announce that United Airlines is jumping in and helping. Thanks to this partnership with United, we are able to provide travel to the recently reunited immigrant families to get to their next destination with dignity.”
In a comment on the Facebook post, the progressive airline added they only wish to “unite the world” through their actions. “Our company’s shared purpose is to connect people and unite the world — we are proud to support your work to help reunify immigrant children and families,” UA wrote.
The announcement comes shortly after the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) stated it would donate $3 million toward its “Flights for Families” project.
“RAICES, one of the groups working to reunite families at the border, said in the announcement that it would work with FWD.us and Families Belong Together on the initiative,” reports the Hill. “The Trump administration said Thursday evening that it would reunite all eligible separated immigrant children over the age of 5 with their families by the court-ordered deadline at midnight.”
As noted by LifeNews, United is listed as a company that “matches gifts” to Planned Parenthood. “United Airlines supports March of Dimes, which donates to organizations that advise and promote abortion and donates to Planned Parenthood via a MOD Chapter,” noted the watchdog group 2nd Vote. In fact, United Airlines has such strong ties to Planned Parenthood that the previous CEO hosted a fundraiser for them.
