The reason U.S. trust in the media reached <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trust-in-media-at-all-time-low-majority-believe-reporters-purposefully-trying-to-mislead-people">an all-time low</a> this year has nothing to do with the quality of the coverage, according to a recent study. Instead, <a href="https://www.americanpressinstitute.org/publications/reports/survey-research/trust-journalism-values/">the problem</a> is that “not all Americans universally embrace core journalism values.”
The “major study,” co-sponsored by the world’s largest news organization found that most Americans want the facts — they just don’t want reporters’ spin. And they disagree with the legacy media’s insistence on showcasing the nation’s problems.
