The feud between President Donald Trump and pop star Taylor Swift has reignited, with Trump declaring himself the victor in a Truth Social post.
&#8220;Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she&#8217;s no longer ‘HOT?’&#8221; the president <a href="https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/114517718765768352">shared</a> with his followers on Friday morning.
The animosity between Swift and Trump is not new. In September 2024, Trump posted “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” days after the singer revealed on Instagram that she endorsed Trump’s rival, Democrat Kamala Harris, for president following the debate.
“I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” Swift wrote at the time. “I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”
Trump said in an interview on Fox News&#8217;s “Fox &amp; Friends” that he “was not a Taylor Swift fan” and said “she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace,” as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-reacts-to-taylor-swifts-kamala-endorsement">reported</a>.
“I actually like Mrs. Mahomes MUCH better, if you want to know the truth,” Trump told the hosts in September, referencing Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes. Brittany made headlines after she liked a Trump post and had to defend herself against the “haters.”
“She’s a big Trump fan,” he added. “I was not a Taylor Swift fan. It was just a question of time. She couldn’t … you couldn’t possibly endorse [President Joe] Biden.”
“You look at Biden, you couldn’t possibly endorse him,” Trump continued. “But she’s a very liberal person. She seems to always endorse a Democrat.”
Swift, 35, closed out her popular Eras Tour in December and has maintained a lower profile ever since. She is currently in a relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

The new acting director of The Kennedy Center has responded to reports that employees plan to unionize.
“These people who only now want to speak out and organize were silent while the Center was going into deficit spending,” Richard Grenell said in a statement on the situation, per <a href="https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2025/05/15/you_should_be_celebrating_trump_kennedy_center_rolls_eyes_at_union_push__152798.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">RealClearPolitics</a>. “They missed their moment but should be celebrating now.”
His remarks come after multiple legacy news outlets reported on the unionization push. The Washington Post <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/theater/2025/05/15/kennedy-center-union/">reported</a> that it spoke with Kennedy Center employees about their reasoning, who confirmed it was spurred by President Donald Trump taking control of the center and firing the entire board of trustees.
According to newly filed paperwork, the new union will be called the “Kennedy Center United Arts Workers,” and instead of having “at will” employment status, they will be “for cause.” This means instead of being able to be fired at any time for any reason, leadership will be required to prove a reason for any dismissals.
One union organizer told The Post, “Communication from leadership to staff has been reduced to emails that are few and far between,” and claimed they haven’t had any staff meetings.  
“This lack of transparency from leadership has really contributed to a culture of anxiety and uncertainty,” the unnamed person added.
During a visit to the center earlier this year, Trump commented on the state of the building, which first opened to the public in 1971. The president said it was in “tremendous disrepair, as is a lot of the rest of our country — most of it because of bad management,” per the <a href="https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/story/2025-03-17/trump-visits-kennedy-center-slams-hamilton">Los Angeles Times</a>. Trump also said he was “disappointed” but promised to “do what has to be done” to make things right again.
Trump’s Kennedy Center takeover and shakeup have caused big reactions from leftists. There have been protests, cancellations, and a general aura of doom and gloom, but the venue has been attracting record crowds despite the drama. The Kennedy Center just broke its all-time attendance record for a public event on March 29, welcoming 11,000 attendees, of whom 76% were there for the first time.
This comes after Trump also promised to scrub leftist programs from the Center’s lineup. “NO MORE DRAG SHOWS, OR OTHER ANTI-AMERICAN PROPAGANDA — ONLY THE BEST,” the president wrote on Truth Social in February.

Kennedy Center Director Ric Grenell Says Staff Planning To Unionize ‘Should Be Celebrating’ Instead

Pop star Justin Bieber has issued a statement via his rep addressing rumors that he was one of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ victims.
Combs, 55, is currently on trial for multiple offenses, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for purposes of prostitution. Bieber frequently consorted with the Bad Boys Records founder when he was younger, which has led people to speculate and circulate videos of the two interacting, which they deemed suspicious.
But Bieber has denied these rumors.  
“Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him,” the pop star’s rep <a href="https://pagesix.com/2025/05/15/celebrity-news/justin-bieber-issues-statement-on-sean-diddy-combs-amid-rap-moguls-sex-trafficking-trial/">told</a> Page Six on Thursday. “Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.”
One of the most widely distributed video clips shows Combs discussing his time spent with Bieber, who was 15 at the time. “Where we hanging out and what we doing, we can’t really disclose, but it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream,” the rap artist can be heard saying in the video.
“I don’t have legal guardianship of him, but for the next 48 hours, he’s with me,” Combs continued. “We gonna go full buck full crazy.”
Bieber agreed, echoing, “Going crazy.”

Combs’ trial began with testimony from his longtime ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, who claims the rapper physically, mentally, and sexually assaulted her.
Ventura went into detail about her experience at Combs’ drug-fueled sex parties known as “freak-offs,” which involved her engaging in intercourse with male prostitutes for hours or days at a time. She said, “sometimes Sean — he, himself, or an escort would urinate on me.”
“The freak-offs became a job,” she added, saying that participating made her feel “disgusting” and “humiliated.”
The rapper’s legal team admits that their client was a “complicated” man who engaged in uncommon sexual behavior, but says they seek to prove that all encounters occurred between consenting adults. 
Combs pleaded not guilty to the charges. If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life in prison.

A Spirit Airlines passenger posted a video which has since gone viral showing cockroaches crawling around on the inside of the aircraft, which prompted a response from airline reps.
Symoné Beez originally shared the post to X on May 11. “Never again will I fly [Spirit Airlines],” she wrote in the video caption. “I&#8217;ve flown over 500,000 miles on Delta and have never in my life seen roaches on a plane this is crazy.”

One video showed a brown roach crawling up the back of a chair from the back seat pocket as another airline passenger murmured in the background. Another clip showed a roach crawling up the plane’s wall.
The next day, Beez posted a follow up that said, “Update I was given a $60 [Spirit Airlines] credit… I won&#8217;t be flying Spirit again one and done for me lol.”
The airline passenger posted a photo of the letter she received with the voucher. It said, “We sincerely apologize for what happened on your recent trip. We care about your satisfaction and want to make this right. Please accept our apologies along with this voucher for future travel to any of our destinations.”
She also responded to commenters who said cockroaches were commonly seen on planes.
“All the people saying roaches are common on planes are lying LMAO I&#8217;ve flown 550,000 miles with  Delta. I&#8217;ve never even seen an ant on Delta let alone two big a** roaches in first class,” Beez wrote.
Spirit Airlines responded to the video by issuing a statement saying the company was &#8220;aware of the video&#8221; and their &#8220;maintenance team thoroughly inspected the aircraft involved and addressed the issue.&#8221;
&#8220;We maintain high standards of cleanliness across our fleet and want all of our guests to feel comfortable when traveling with us,&#8221; a spokesperson told <a href="https://people.com/cockroaches-captured-on-video-crawling-up-the-walls-of-spirit-airlines-cabin-to-trapped-passenger-s-horror-11734815">People</a>.
The clip of the crawling roaches has 8 million views on X as of Thursday. Many commenters weighed in on the situation, including those who stated they were airline employees.
“I’ve deada** never seen a roach on a plane and been on all different kind of planes except Spirit,” one person <a href="https://x.com/camperry21/status/1921982318488559677">noted</a>.
“[I]t’s not common, but it’s not unheard of,” another person <a href="https://x.com/nonamerising/status/1922047588716388837">replied</a>. “I worked for a major airline for years. those planes don’t get deep cleaned like you’d think, and people (travelers and employees) can bring from home all kinds of stuff. roaches, bedbugs, etc. I’ve seen roaches in both DCA and PHL.”

Video Of Roaches Crawling Walls Of Spirit Airlines Flight Goes Viral; Airline Responds

Singer Lorde just gave a lengthy interview promoting her new album, “Virgin,” during which she discussed how she doesn’t fully identify with either gender. The 28-year-old celebrity also mentioned going off birth control two years ago for the first time since she was a teen.
Lorde told <a href="https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/lorde-gender-dentity-interview-1235339017/">Rolling Stone</a> during the cover story interview that she’s “in the middle gender-wise.” During a conversation she had with her friend, “queer” recording artist Chappell Roan, Lorde responded to a question about her being non-binary by saying, “I’m a woman except for the days when I’m a man.”
That same line is included on her new album’s opening track.
“I know that’s not a very satisfying answer but there’s a part of me that is really resistant to boxing it up,” she continued.
The outlet noted how she referred to her journey of self-expression as “the ooze,” which referenced how she allowed herself to “take up more space.”
“My gender got way more expansive when I gave my body more room,” Lorde added.
She mentioned going off birth control in 2023 as being a turning point in her thoughts about gender. She said that action led to her feeling as though she “cut some sort of cord between myself and this regulated femininity. It sounds crazy, but I felt that all of a sudden, I was off the map of femininity. And I totally believed that that allowed things to open up.”
The singer insisted that the labels she currently has for herself are not “radical” compared to others.
“I see these incredibly brave young people, and it’s complicated,” Lorde told Rolling Stone. “Making the expression privately is one thing, but I want to make very clear that I’m not trying to take any space from anyone who has more on the line than me. Because I’m, comparatively, in a very safe place as a wealthy, cis, white woman.”
Lorde, a native of New Zealand whose real name is Ella Yelich-O&#8217;Connor, first gained popularity when she was a teen participating in a singing competition. She is the latest in a long line of celebrities and entertainers to embrace radical left-wing gender theory and identify as something different from the standard gender binary.

Singer Lorde Refuses To Pick A Gender: ‘I’m A Woman Except For The Days When I’m A Man’

Singer and leftist Bruce Springsteen opened his &#8220;Land of Hopes and Dreams&#8221; tour with his E Street Band by delivering a lengthy diatribe on foreign soil against President Donald Trump, which led to mockery and criticism on social media.
The 75-year-old recording artist took to the stage on Wednesday in Manchester, England, to make his complaints. 
“In my home, the America I love, the America I’ve written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration. Tonight, we ask all who believe in democracy and the best of our American experiment to rise with us, raise your voices against authoritarianism and let freedom ring!” Springsteen <a href="https://www.vulture.com/article/bruce-springsteen-trump-treasonous-concert.html">said</a>, per Vulture.
The longtime Democrat supporter made multiple political statements during his two-and-a-half-hour-long set, per <a href="https://www.newsweek.com/bruce-springsteen-trump-treasonous-concert-2072574">Newsweek</a>.
Before playing the song, My City of Ruins, he said, &#8220;There&#8217;s some very weird, strange, and dangerous s*** going on out there right now.&#8221;
&#8220;In America, they are persecuting people for using their right to free speech and voicing their dissent. This is happening now. In America, the richest men are taking satisfaction in abandoning the world&#8217;s poorest children to sickness and death.&#8221;
On the topic of the Trump administration targeting illegal aliens for deportation, Springsteen said, &#8220;They are removing residents off American streets and without due process of law, are deporting them to foreign detention centers and prisons.&#8221;
&#8220;In my country they&#8217;re taking sadistic pleasure in the pain they inflict on loyal American workers. They&#8217;re rolling back historic civil rights legislation that has led to a more just and plural society,” the singer said at another point. “They are abandoning our great allies and siding with dictators against those struggling for their freedom. They are defunding American universities that won&#8217;t bow down to their ideological demands.&#8221;
While some social media users agreed with Springsteen’s message, a large number of commenters were critical of the statements he was making.
“Nobody cares what Bruce Springsteen has to say,” one X user <a href="https://x.com/IanJaeger29/status/1922809978991124748">replied</a>. 
“Bruce Springsteen has completely lost his mind,” another commenter <a href="https://x.com/Bubblebathgirl/status/1922988892732391472">observed</a>. “He goes full MSNBC instead of just playing the music people were there to hear. Entertainers are such narcissists.”
“Fans don&#8217;t want to hear this bullsh**&#8230;.They want to hear music. They should have booed him off the stage,” a third person <a href="https://x.com/RealHickory/status/1922966007754162319">said</a>. 
Another commenter <a href="https://x.com/Alsboringtweets/status/1922937826166870386">wrote</a>, “Bruce Springsteen waited until his European tour to badmouth Trump. Was he afraid of the response he would have gotten if he tried it here?? I will answer this for you, Yes. Coward move.”
Besides being an outspoken Democrat supporter, Springsteen is a friend of former President Barack Obama and campaigned for both of his presidential campaigns. The singer also headlined rallies for both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris&#8217; last election cycle.
