<p>We live in a country where, <a href="https://www.ussc.gov/sites/default/files/pdf/research-and-publications/annual-reports-and-sourcebooks/2018/FY18-Annual-Report-and-Sourcebook.pdf">according to the Department of Justice</a> itself, a whopping 43% of all federal offenses are committed by non-citizens. That is an eye-gouging statistic. Nonetheless, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has <a href="https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2019/may/8/feds-release-168k-illegal-immigrant-family-members/">released</a> 168,000 illegal aliens into the interior just since December, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection itself <a href="https://twitter.com/USBPChief/status/1126261497179574272?s=20">released</a> another 33,000 into the interior just from March through May. Mass catch-and-release, which 2020 Democratic presidential candidates seem to be <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/47434/lawlessness-kirsten-gillibrand-vows-implement-mass-josh-hammer">endorsing</a> en masse, is quite literally deadly.</p>
<p>The tragedy of illegal alien crime in America is that every single criminal act is preventable &#8212; and would have been prevented if feckless political elites would merely enforce immigration law. Here is how then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions <a href="https://www.conservativereview.com/news/dhs-doj-report-thousands-of-avoidable-crimes-committed-by-foreign-nationals-in-texas-alone/">put it</a> last year:</p>
