Sworn Affidavit Claims Mentally Ill Voters Being Used To Vote In Florida

A voter fraud allegation in Broward County, Fla. arose on Election Day as a sworn affidavit was released stating dozens of mentally ill or mentally incapacitated voters have had their ballots effectively filled out by individuals claiming to assist them.

The affidavit was signed by a poll watcher certified by the Broward County Supervisor of Elections. He stated that these incidents have taken place since early voting began on Oct. 24 at the North West Regional Library polling location in Coral Springs, Fla.

Voting laws allow a mentally or physically disabled voter to receive assistance on filling out their ballots, but that assistance is limited to reading off the ballot language and receiving a form of confirmation from the voter before taking action to fill in the ballot. This interaction must also be witnessed by two official poll workers.

These precautionary laws were reportedly not enforced, as the affidavit states dozens of mentally ill voters had their ballots filled out by caretakers without any consent from the voter and without oversight from poll employees. According to the poll watcher, the “caretakers” made dozens of trips to the polling location over the course of the early voting period, sometimes returning twice or three times in one day, each time with different incapacitated voters.

One of the incidents mentioned in the affidavit states that a man filled out a ballot on behalf of a mentally ill and physically incapable woman. The man filled out both ballots for the two individuals with any consent from the woman; she then reportedly sat alone in a booth while showing signs of physical discomfort.

The woman then attempted to insert her ballot into an optical scanner, but was unable to. Instead, a poll worker inserted the ballot for her.

Upon seeing the incident, an official SOE office and called and they simply replied, “everyone will vote.” No further action was reportedly made to address these accounts of voter fraud, despite multiple attempts to alert the Broward SOE.

“These people are infirmed, there’s clearly something not right with them mentally. I’ve even seem sit there and not make a single sound or move while their ‘caretaker’ fills out their ballot,” the affiant and Broward County, Fla. poll watcher told The Daily Wire.

“On one occasion, these people even pulled up in a school bus, brought out a mentally ill person, had him vote and then walked out while making smartass comments about Trump making things in China,” added the poll watcher.

A number of other counts of voter fraud were documented in the affidavit signed by the Broward County, Fla. poll watcher. Per the affidavit, “[the voter fraud] became too much to document and seemed pointless since the poll workers were not allowed to stop the fraud even though it was to spot.”

“What I witnessed was an abuse of the elderly and infirmed in Broward for the purpose of Elections Fraud relative individuals marking ballots that were not their own,” stated the poll watcher.

The Daily Wire reached out to the Broward County, Fla. Supervisor of Elections office for comment and their official statement was simply, “there is no such thing.”
