Despite all the evidence to the contrary, including the unassailable fact that conservatives have endured a non-stop cavalcade of the Left’s vitriolic hate since 2016, Spike Lee says that Donald Trump’s presidency opened the gates for hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan to run free.
“This guy in the White House has given the green light for the Klan, for the alt-right, for the neo-Nazis to come out in the open. There is no need for the so-called dog-whistle anymore, they are in full daylight,” Lee said in an interview with The Guardian.
