<p>Despite all the evidence to the contrary, including the <a href="https://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/trump-supporters-attacks-violence-hatred-media-bias/">unassailable fact</a> that conservatives have endured a non-stop cavalcade of the Left&#8217;s vitriolic hate since 2016, Spike Lee says that Donald Trump&#8217;s presidency opened the gates for hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan to run free.</p>
<p>&#8220;This guy in the White House has given the green light for the Klan, for the alt-right, for the neo-Nazis to come out in the open. There is no need for the so-called dog-whistle anymore, they are in full daylight,&#8221; Lee said in an interview with <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/film/2018/jul/29/spike-lee-interview-blackkklansmen-film">The Guardian</a>.</p>
