The far-left, borderline socialist Mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio, has endorsed the openly socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) for the 2020 Democratic Party presidential nomination.
According to CNN, the New York mayor will be campaigning with Sanders in Nevada prior to the state’s caucuses next week, joining the socialist at a rally in Carson City on Sunday. In a statement on Friday, Sanders praised de Blasio for understanding that the “only way” to defeat President Trump is to hammer an agenda that helps working families.
