This is not the best “optics” moment for Hillary Clinton.
During a recent rally in Hudson, New Hampshire, standing behind Clinton were “supporters” wearing what appear to be some standard pro-Hillary shirts, but on closer look… not so much.
The shirts read “Settle for Hillary.”
Here’s a screen grab making the rounds that shows one of her less-than-enthusiastic rallygoers:
From all the recent polling and early voting results it’s painfully clear: New Hampshire is not charged up about the once presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.
And the lack of enthusiasm is not just a Granite State problem; Clinton’s campaign has been scrambling for months to overcome the enthusiasm gap. Meanwhile 74-year-old socialist Senator Bernie Sanders’ rallies have begun looking more like Woodstock celebrations than political events.
