Once again, Scripps College, an all-women’s college in Claremont, California, demonstrates why Matthew Vadum of Frontpage Magazine called it “the most racist college in America.” The same college whose student body produced a 217-page student guide that said that a general hatred of white people is a “legitimate response to “oppression” and had racially-segregated safe spaces in its on-campus coffee shop outdid itself in defending racist and anti-Semitic vulgarities in a public forum.
Elliot Dordick wrote in The Claremont Independent that students wrote phrases like “F*** Zionism”, “F*** white people”, “Death to AmeriKKKa” on the chalkboard walls of the Motley, the on-campus coffee shop run and managed by students. The coffee shop describes itself as ““an intersectional, political, and feminist business” with a mission “to foster independent thinking and purposeful change.”
In response to complaints about the messages, Scripps administrators told the Motley managers to remove them. The student managers complied, but wrote the following message expressing their strong disapproval of the administrators’ demands:
“We are complying with the college, but we will not do so quietly. We call into question the swiftness with which Scripps College responds to speech that challenges systematically privileged identities, and we challenge the community to think critically about what speech makes them feel uncomfortable versus unsafe. We want the students who wrote these statements to know that their perspectives are valued in this space and that we will continue to resist Scripps’s effort to silence these perspectives in public spaces such as The Motley. We recognize that erasing this board works to reinforce systems of power and oppression, and therefore we will not let this be where we let the story end. We urge the community to challenge each other and ourselves, and to destroy white supremacy, white privilege, colonialism, fascism, and (neo)liberalism on campus.”
According to the fascist leftists running the Motley, saying anti-American, racist, and anti-Semitic statements in supposedly inclusive environment is “valued” in their discourse. Naturally, if someone had replaced “white” with “black” or “Hispanic,” these leftists would go on a ballistic tirade similar to those Claremont leftists had after the former Dean of Students at Claremont McKenna College sent a poorly-worded email to a student, resulting in her resignation. Nevertheless, these students find it valuable to speak ill of others who disagree with their infantile beliefs ranging from intersectionality to multiculturalism instead of engaging in thoughtful, intellectual dialogue that would challenge their beliefs.
The hypocrisy of campus leftists in Claremont is fathomless. However, as I foretold three years ago when I was a student at Pitzer College, more individuals will continue to shun the Claremont Colleges as long as their students continue to act like a bunch of spoiled, elitist brats in pursuit of their over $60k per year education. Whoever pays these kids’ tuitions will not be getting a good return on their investment.

Yes, these students have every right to speak their mind. However, they should live with the consequences of their illiberal, anti-American, and racist behavior both while they are in college and when they enter the real world.
