On Wednesday, liberal comedian and TBS “Full Frontal” host Samantha Bee targeted conservative Prager University (Prager U), claiming in a lengthy TV segment that the “dangerous” outlet is “brainwashing” youths with “conservative propaganda” via their short educational videos.
The six-and-a-half minute (supposedly comical) bash-fest against Prager U, however, seems to have backfired on Bee. One day after the segment aired, Prager U boasted of bringing in $10,000-plus in donations, seemingly sparked by the Bee video.
“While Fox continues its lifelong quest to scare your grandparents into hoarding Franklin Mint coins, one growing conservative outlet is using colorful graphics and social media to appeal to a new generation. That outlet is Prager U,” the Twitter account for Bee’s “Full Frontal” complained, echoing the TV segment.
“Prager U’s website says ‘Prager University is not an accredited academic institution…but it is a place where you are free to learn.’ That describes every single place! The last place Sam learned something for free was in a bra store. She learned she’s been wrong for 35 years,” the Twitter thread continued.

“Prager U is actually dangerous,” the TBS show warned. “They’re reaching a new, younger audience with bullshit conservative propaganda. They trick kids into thinking their videos are educational even though Prager U is as much of a real college as Monsters University.”

The segment was widely shared by conservatives, who sarcastically thanked Bee for the exposure and coupled their posts with popular Prager U videos. Bee also triggered donations to the outlet, apparently over $10,000 worth.

In another post, Prager U published portions of the Bee segment in a video clip of their own boasting about their wide reach, which was admitted by the TBS host.
“PragerU is actually dangerous. They are reaching a new, younger audience with bulls**t conservative propaganda,” Prager U quoted Bee.
“The left is TERRIFIED of PragerU!” the group added. “This is how you know you’re making an impact!”

Bee seemingly has a raw hatred for conservatives, President Donald Trump, and his family. In May 2018, for example, Bee called eldest Trump daughter and White House advisor Ivanka Trump a “feckless c***” on her show.
As noted by The Daily Wire, Bee attacked Ivanka for “posting a picture on Twitter of her holding her child while the media was claiming the Trump Administration was cruelly separating children from their parents.”
“Ivanka Trump, who works at the White House, chose to post the second most oblivious tweet we’ve seen this week,” Bee said on-air. “You know, Ivanka, that’s a beautiful photo of you and your child, but let me just say, one mother to another, do something about your dad’s immigration practices, you feckless c**t!”
