SAD! Eminem Has ‘Lines Ready’ In Case Trump Ever Bothers To Respond To His Insults

It might be time for an intervention. Unfortunately, it appears that middle-aged rapper Eminem has a debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. In the middle of launching what is supposed to be his big comeback album, Marshall Mathers just can’t stop talking about Trump, specifically how Trump won’t talk about him. The result is the fierce critic of Trump looking a whole lot more like a teen rebelling against his negligent father than a “fearless” 45-year-old celebrity speaking truth to power.

As The Daily Wire highlighted in November, Eminem declared in an interview that he was “extremely angry” at Trump because “he’s not paying attention” to him. “I was and still am extremely angry,” Eminem said in a Shade 45 radio interview. “I can’t stand that motherf***er. I feel like he’s not paying attention to me. I was kind of waiting for him to say something and for some reason, he didn’t say anything.”

In an interview with Vulture published this week, Eminem added another detail that he probably should’ve kept to himself. The rapper has actually prepared a few “lines” in case the president should ever care enough about his opinion of him to respond to his insults.

“I’m not going to give any away now, but I’ve got lines ready if he says something about me,” Eminem told Vulture. “I get almost flustered thinking about him — that’s how angry he makes me.”

Before admitting that he has prepared a response should Trump ever acknowledge him, Eminem explained why he first started hating Trump and said that hatred is the reason he can’t even turn on the news anymore.

“He makes my blood boil. I can’t even watch the news anymore because it makes me too stressed out,” he said. “All jokes aside, all punch lines aside, I’m trying to get a message out there about him. I want our country to be great too, I want it to be the best it can be, but it’s not going to be that with him in charge. I remember when he was first sniffing around politics, I thought, We’ve tried everything else, why not him? Then — and I was watching it live — he had that speech where he said Mexico is sending us rapists and criminals. I got this feeling of what the f***? From that point on, I knew it was going to be bad with him. What he’s doing putting people against each other is scary f***ing shit. His election was such a disappointment to me about the state of the country.”

The rapper also presented his theory on why so many people support the president: good old fashioned “brainwashing.”

“The people that support him are the people he cares about the least and they don’t even realize it,” he said. “At what point do you — a working-class citizen, someone who’s trying to make shit better for you and your family — think this guy who’s never known struggle his entire f***ing life, who avoided the military because of bone spurs, who says he’s a billionaire, is really looking out for you? He’s got people brainwashed.”

Given a chance to revisit his “f** you” to all his fans that supported Trump, Eminem said he was “wrong” to take it that far.

“Trump had me so mad with all his bulls*** that I was thinking, I hope everybody who voted for him gets f***ed and learns a lesson,” he said. “But that was wrong. I don’t want any voters to get f***ed; everyone’s trying to improve their lives. I just feel mad that Trump’s sold people a dream that’s never coming true. I want the division in this country to stop.”

Eminem’s anti-Trump rhetoric started early, but really ramped up when he produced a rap for BET in October directed at Trump, whom he described as supposedly “support[ing]” the KKK.
