Rush Limbaugh: Democrats Trying To Push Out Biden With Latest Impeachment-Mania

On Wednesday, conservative talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh suggested Democrats’ latest move to impeach President Donald Trump on a flimsy “whistleblower” complaint is not just to harm the president, but to push former Vice President Joe Biden out of the 2020 Democratic presidential race.

Limbaugh floated the names of presidential contenders Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) as being possibly behind the complaint regarding Trump’s call with the president of Ukraine. Since the call in question relates to a possible investigation into alleged corruption by Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, the inquiry would harm Trump — but could also take down Biden.

“What if we learn, for example, that Elizabeth Warren or Kamala Harris are behind the whistleblower?” posed Limbaugh, adding, “I’m just throwing it out there.”

“Or what if Biden is doing it to commit suicide? Because this operation, whoever is running this, this is a twofer” he continued. “This is to get rid of Biden. This is to take him out, because whatever they’re saying about Trump, Biden did engage in this massive fraud over and over again for his son with the ChiComs and with Ukraine. It’s gonna come out.”

As reported by NPR, Biden began making trips to Ukraine in the Spring of 2014 when his son Hunter took a position on the board of Burisma, Ukraine’s largest private gas company — thereby earning a reported $50,000 a month. “The question of a possible conflict of interest — with Hunter Biden profiting in a country where his father was actively working with the government — was raised publicly at the time,” the left-leaning outlet noted. 

Then, in March 2016, “Biden made one of his many trips to Ukraine and told the country’s leaders that they had to get rid of the prosecutor” probing corruption “if they wanted $1 billion in U.S. aid,” NPR reported. Stunning, Biden openly bragged about wielding his influence to seemingly protect his son at the Council on Foreign Relations last year. “I said, ‘You’re not getting the [$1 billion]. I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’ Well, son of a b****. He got fired,” he boasted.

Limbaugh floated the theory that the scandal held Biden back from running for the White House in 2015, and only agreed to get into the 2020 race once he was assured that the mainstream media would lay off the scandal. But according to the theory, now that Biden is leading in the polls while showing he is incapable of lasting against Trump, Democrats want him removed. 

“In fact, folks, the Democrats have known about this for years,” said the radio host. “This is said to be the reason Biden didn’t go in 2015. The scuttlebutt inside the Beltway is the reason Biden didn’t run for the presidency in 2015, which would have been natural, he’s Obama’s veep, why not do it — because of this. Every Democrat knew. Biden knew they knew.”

“Biden was scared to death this stuff was gonna come out in 2015. So why do it now? Biden has probably been assured by the media they’re gonna ignore it. I do not doubt for a moment there is that kind of collusion between the media and Democrats because the media is just Democrats in the media. … I’m sure Biden undertook this with the assurance that all of this stuff would never see the light of day,” he continued. 

“Now it is seeing the light of day and the reason it’s seeing the light of day is because Biden, nobody ever thought this guy would be leading the Democrat primary polls,” Limbaugh told his listeners. “Nobody ever thought that would happen. Don’t doubt me on that. This is a shock to all of them. And it really is ticking off Elizabeth Warren and some of these others who now feel entitled to it. Biden’s an old man, he’s old news, he doesn’t know where he is half the time. His days has come and gone. It’s time for the torch to be passed to a new generation is how they’re looking at it.”

“So I wouldn’t be a bit surprised, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, I’m just throwing it out as a possibility. But don’t be surprised if by the time all this plays out Trump is up another two to three points in the Rasmussen survey,” he added.
