Roma Downey Posts Photo Of Bruised Hand After Alleged Confrontation Between Tom Arnold And Her Husband Mark Burnett

In the early hours of Monday morning, actress and “The Bible” producer Roma Downey posted a photo of her bruised hand after an alleged encounter with actor Tom Arnold.

Downey claims Arnold “ambushed” her and her husband, producer Mark Burnett, at a charity event. An attorney for Arnold, however, claims the actor was the victim of an “‘unprovoked attack’ by Burnett,” reports The Hollywood reporter.

“Got this bruise tonight when Tom Arnold tried to ambush my husband Mark and me at a charity event,” Downey captioned the photo.

“Is your TV show worth it Tom?” she asked. “Please stop.”

Arnold is launching a #Resistance-type show on Tuesday for Viceland called “The Hunt for the Trump Tapes with Tom Arnold,” apparently searching for alleged tapes of President Donald Trump using the N-word and making inappropriate comments from his time on “The Apprentice.”

“Mark Burnett just went apes*** & choked me at this huge Emmy party then he ran away with his torn Pink shirt & missing gold chain. I’m waiting for LAPD,” claimed Arnold via Twitter, adding that he’s going to sue Downey for defamation.

Actress Alyson Hannigan said she witnessed a fight between the two men. “Thought is was a joke until security jumped in!” she wrote.

Arnold friend and comedian Patton Oswalt posted a photo of them together after the alleged encounter. “I’m with [Tom Arnold] everyone. He’s okay. We gotta protect this brutal angel,” he wrote.

Burnett has yet to publicly respond to Arnold’s accusation.

Arnold has been going after Burnett over his association with Trump and his hand in producing “The Apprentice” for some time.

“I am going to keep hammering Mark Burnett until he shows America [the tapes],” Arnold said in July. “He sits next to Donald Trump and gives him cover and he never says one word. People are at the border. They are getting their kids snatched from them. It’s cruel … and Mark Burnett says he’s a Christian.”
