Actress Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from her husband of two years, actor Brad Pitt, citing irreconcilable difference, TMZ learned on Tuesday morning. The couple allegedly legally separated on September 15, 2016.

The breakup is reportedly centered around the raising of their six children. According to sources close to the couple, Jolie found Pitt’s parenting style unacceptable. The award-winning actress was “extremely upset with his methods.”

According to TMZ, Jolie is asking for physical custody of all their children, allowing Pitt visitation rights. “It’s significant …she does not want Brad to have joint physical custody … only joint legal custody,” notes TMZ.

Jolie’s representative, Laura Wasser, says the actress, who is worth a reported $200 million, is not seeking spousal support.

The couple first began their affair in 2004, while Pitt and Jolie were working on the film Mr. and Mrs. Smith. They two married in August of 2014, and went through public ups and downs.

In July of this year, Pitt was reportedly feeling “seriously lonely” due to Jolie’s constant absence while doing humanitarian work. The couple has made numerous headlines with reports of divorce on the horizon from a plethora of gossip magazines over the years.

UPDATE: In recent hours, there has been much speculation concerning cheating at the hands of Pitt. According to Page Six, Pitt was allegedly caught cheating on Jolie with his Allied costar Marion Cotillard.

Allegedly, Jolie hired a private investigator to spy on her husband while shooting the film, after she was under the impression he was being unfaithful to her.

Per Page Six, a “well-placed” source reports: “She hired a private eye because she felt that he was fooling around with her on the set, and it turns out, he was. And that was the final straw.”

Somewhere, Jennifer Aniston is smiling.

Below is a clip of Allies, which is set to be out on November 23.
