Former Atlanta police officer Garrett Rolfe, involved in the shooting of Rayshard Brooks at a Wendy’s parking lot last week, was charged with felony murder on Wednesday. On Thursday, Rolfe’s legal team released a statement defending his “justified” actions.
“Rolfe is facing 11 counts, including felony murder and assault with a deadly weapon,” The Daily Wire reported Wednesday evening, adding that Devin Brosnan, Rolfe’s partner, has been placed on administrative leave and is facing three charges.
