<p>Former Atlanta police officer Garrett Rolfe, involved in the shooting of Rayshard Brooks at a Wendy&#8217;s parking lot last week, was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-former-atlanta-officer-charged-with-felony-murder-in-shooting-of-rayshard-brooks">charged</a> with felony murder on Wednesday. On Thursday, Rolfe&#8217;s legal team released a statement defending his &#8220;justified&#8221; actions.</p>
<p>&#8220;Rolfe is facing 11 counts, including felony murder and assault with a deadly weapon,&#8221; <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-former-atlanta-officer-charged-with-felony-murder-in-shooting-of-rayshard-brooks">The Daily Wire</a> reported Wednesday evening, adding that Devin Brosnan, Rolfe&#8217;s partner, has been placed on administrative leave and is facing three charges.</p>
