There are only so many ways Democrats can spell out, in the most explicit possible terms, what they plan to do if and when they retake control of the federal government. They’ve spent the last year celebrating the murder of conservatives, raising hell over the most basic voter-ID laws imaginable, and most recently, sabotaging the nation’s airports in order to prevent ICE from doing its job — a plan that may very well work, given that Republicans seem interested in caving at the moment, once again. In short, Democrats are preparing a government that would treat Americans as foreigners in their own country.
But just in case their plan somehow wasn’t obvious, here’s Senator Chris Murphy, the Democrat from Connecticut, to spell it out.
