‘Kill Yourself’: Celebrities Losing It Over Net Neutrality Repeal

Due to the repeal of “net neutrality,” Hollywood celebrities have taken a break from slapping each other’s rear ends to herald that the internet is doomed.

Yesterday, the FCC voted to end the Obama-era regulation “net neutrality,” which sought to treat internet access as a telecommunications service, therefore making it illegal for internet service providers to charge customers based on their level and speed of consumption. The underlying problems with “net neutrality” have been written at length here at The Daily Wire and elsewhere. Harry Khachatrian illustrated the problem succinctly:

Enforcing “net neutrality” does the exact opposite of what its proponents claim. It results in an internet where a handful of large corporations have access to peering agreements with large transit providers (what some people refer to as “the fast lane”), and the rest are subject to far fewer options in terms of services, and even upon growing and gaining market share, will be denied the opportunity to shop around for different ISP plans that suit them best.

Naturally, leftist celebrities do not see it that way and are now behaving like children, with many of them now accusing FCC head Ajit Pai, an Obama appointee, of committing a crime against humanity:

On his Late Show, Stephen Colbert called the FCC repeal “absolutely despicable.” Other late-night comedians echoed his outrage. It’s doubtful that these uniformly left-wing television hosts would endorse the concept of the fairness doctrine if applied to their programming:
