Following President Trump’s highly controversial speech at the Boy Scout Jamboree, many members of the media and the Left went so far as to compare it to a Hitler Youth rally. During the speech, Trump made it partisan by trashing Democrats and Republicans, breaking away from the tradition of talking about public service or giving back to the United States. The Left, which has a long history of targeting the Boy Scouts, responded to Trump’s speech with its usual outrage.
So-called “comedian” Patton Oswalt used the speech to issue a series of vulgar tweets that objectified women, particularly First Lady Melania Trump.
