Oh Yes, It’s Real: Introducing RBG Beer From Samuel Adams

   DailyWire.com

For a limited time only, the power of the “Notorious RBG” will be made available to you in the icy confines of a cold glass of Samuel Adams.

Yes, they went there, and in the age of Trumpy Bear, could anyone be surprised?

According to NBC, the Samuel Adams’ brewery tap room in Boston will offer cold brewskies honoring the Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on March 29.

“Sam Adams is releasing a new brew that honors a Supreme trailblazer,” reports the outlet. “Named ‘When There Are Nine,’ the Belgian Bruit IPA was brewed on International Women’s Day and was inspired by the Supreme Court Justice’s famous response to being asked when there will be enough women on the court.”

The beer will only be made available at the brewery and cannot be purchased in stores or online. A pint of the IPA costs $20 with tickets now available online.

“The $20 ticket includes a pint of When There Are Nine, four dumplings from Mei Mei and a donation to the Pink Boots Society,” the report continued. “Five dollars will be donated from every ticket purchased and $1 will be donated from every RBG-inspired drink purchase to the Pink Boots Society.”

According to the Pink Boots Society website, the organization seeks to “assist, inspire and encourage women beer industry professionals to advance their careers through education.”

“We are the female movers and shakers in the beer industry,” says the organization. “We get the beer brewed and fermented with the highest possible quality. We also own breweries, package the beer, design beers, serve beers, write about beer, and cover just about any aspect of beer, and we are all women.”

The cultish following of RBG has gone into overdrive in recent months, following the justice recovering from surgery due to lung cancer. As her absence on the bench persisted for several weeks, supporters of the lady justice took their worship of her to borderline-creepy levels. Over at Politico, columnist Roger Simon said that he would actually sacrifice precious days of his own life to prolong Ginsburg’s.

Simon said on Twitter: “If it were possible, would you subtract one day off your life and add it to Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s life for one extra day of good health? If just 10,000 people did this, it would add 27 productive years to her life.”

Following that, The Hollywood Reporter announced that fashion retailer Banana Republic would reissue the “Ginsburg dissent collar” from 2012 and donate the proceeds to the ACLU in her honor.

“RBG is not just a judicial icon, she’s also a fashion one,” reported THR. “Banana Republic on Monday revealed that the company will reissue Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s Dissent Collar Necklace for a limited time.”

“The dissent collar has become synonymous with Ginsburg’s way of showing the public how she feels about a decision on the bench,” the report continued. “She even wore her collar the day after Donald Trump’s presidential election win to showcase her disapproval of the results.”

Hollywood celebrities, from Lady Gaga and Steven Spielberg, also joined forces to sign a “Get Well” card for Justice Ginsburg.

And now Samuel Adams has a beer dedicated to her.
