Ocasio-Cortez Compares Migrants Trying To Get Into U.S. To Jews Fleeing Holocaust

In response to reports that authorities were repelling migrants illegally breaking across the U.S. southern border with tear gas, Democratic Representative-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) compared the migrants to Jews seeking asylum from Nazi Germany.

Ocasio-Cortez, who has helped lead the #AbolishICE movement among her fellow radical Democrats, issued the tweet in response to an NBC News report that casts the migrants as victims of over-the-top border enforcement. “A migrant family, part of a caravan of thousands traveling from Central America en route to the United States, runs away from tear gas in front of the U.S.-Mexico border wall in Tijuana, Mexico,” NBC tweeted.
