Obama DOJ Drops Charges Against Arms Dealer Who Threatened to Expose Hillary

   DailyWire.com

The Obama administration just moved to dismiss charges against an arms dealer who threatened to expose Hillary Clinton’s role in Libyan arms deal that could have damaged her presidential run.

Politico provides a damning report on the choice by the Department of Justice to suddenly dismiss the charges it had brought against arms dealer Marc Turi over his involvement in an illegal arms deal with Libyan rebels. After Turi threatened to take down Clinton, the Obama DOJ apparently lost interest in pursuing the case—the trial for which was scheduled to begin on election day—any further.

“Lawyers for the Justice Department on Monday filed a motion in federal court in Phoenix to drop the case against the arms dealer, an American named Marc Turi, whose lawyers also signed the motion,” reports Politico.”The deal averts a trial that threatened to cast additional scrutiny on Hillary Clinton’s private emails as Secretary of State, and to expose reported Central Intelligence Agency attempts to arm rebels fighting Libyan leader Moammar Qadhafi.”

The DOJ’s decision, Turi’s camp says, was obviously motivated by the Obama administration’s desire to protect Clinton.

“They don’t want this stuff to come out because it will look really bad for Obama and Clinton just before the election,” said one of Turi’s associates.

The entire case against Turi from the beginning, his adviser Robert Stryk, says, was all about protecting Clinton for her role in the ultimately fatal mishandling of the Benghazi consulate. “The U.S. government spent millions of dollars, went all over the world to bankrupt him, and destroyed his life — all to protect Hillary Clinton’s crimes,” said Stryk.

The deal allows Turi to get off scot-free just so long as he abides by an agreement to refrain from U.S-regulated arms dealing for four years (and keep his mouth shut about Clinton’s culpability in the Benghazi tragedy).

The Obama administration has made one thing crystal clear this year: The law simply does not apply to a Democratic presidential candidate.
