The Mooch is back, and setting the internet on fire.
As you might recall, former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci infamously lasted in the Trump administration for a whopping ten days. His, shall we say, “colorful” language, dropped during a wild interview with reporter Ryan Lizza, was seemingly the last straw for “The Mooch,” who proved to be immensely entertaining but not exactly the best man for the job.
Scaramucci once again earned himself some of the spotlight on Thursday night, posting an interesting political cartoon poking fun at former White House staffer Steven Bannon and himself.
Shown sitting at a bar together, Bannon tells The Mooch, “After weeks of trying . . . I was only able to get my foot in my mouth.”
Here’s the background: Bannon recently stabbed President Donald Trump in the back, giving a vicious interview to author Michael Wolff for his book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.” The former staffer stunningly accused the Trump team of acting “treasonous” and suggested they’d committed Russian collusion.
For the complete picture, you’d have to refer back to The Mooch’s insane interview with Lizza, where he said Mr. Bannon wants to perform fellatio on himself.
“A little humor,” Scaramucci captioned the photo. “All will be fine. We move on.” He also tagged Donald Trump, Jr., who gladly retweeted the post.
Thus far, the post has nearly 1,500 retweets and over 6,000 “likes.” Most commenters on the Right found the post humorous, while the Left reacted by screaming about Russia, which is terribly shocking.
According to a report from The Daily Beast, The Mooch might be headed back to the White House, being pressured to do so by Trump himself. Bannon, on the other hand, just became branded by Trump with the nickname “Sloppy Steve.”
Ouch.
