Pop singer Miley Cyrus is sick of being “slut shamed.” The newly divorced 26-year-old posted a rant to social media this week complaining that male stars are praised for bedding beautiful woman after beautiful woman, while females in the public eye are called “sluts” and “w****s.”
Reacting to leaked photos of Cyrus kissing longtime friend and Australian musician Cody Simpson, the singer complained, “Men (especially successful ones) are RARELY slut shamed. They move on from one beautiful woman to the next MOST times without consequences. They are usually referenced as ‘legends’, ‘heart throbs’, ‘G’, ‘Ladies Man’ etc… where women are called sluts/w****s!” E! News reported.
