After successfully prophesying that we would all soon be saying the two words “PRESIDENT TRUMP,” left-wing pseudo-documentary maker Michael Moore employed his prognostication skills in the enigmatic realm of climatology. His pronouncement came in the form of an apocalyptic tweet declaring that Donald Trump’s dismantling of Barack Obama’s miscellaneous climate change executive orders was the beginning of “the extinction of human life on earth,” which according to Moore’s prophetic vision, will happen in the “near future.” Along with the histrionic doom and gloom, one detail from Moore’s tweet set off some fun mockery online.
“Historians in the near future will mark today, March 28, 2017, as the day the extinction of human life on earth began, thanks 2 Donald Trump,” Moore tweeted on Tuesday, adding a few minutes later, “Trump has signed orders killing all of Obama’s climate change regulations. The EPA is prohibited henceforth from focusing on climate change.”
