Michael Moore Tops Christmas Tree With Ruth Bader Ginsburg Doll: ‘Better Than An Angel’

The Left’s worship of the “Notorious RBG” has tipped over into borderline idolatry. Upon news that the Supreme Court Justice underwent surgery for lung cancer last week, filmmaker Michael Moore has topped his Christmas tree with a Ruth Bader Ginsburg doll.

In a post on Twitter, the left-wing propagandist featured a photo of himself in front of a tree with an RBG doll on top. And just to really drive home the cultish deification of the SCOTUS Justice, Moore described his topper as being “better than an angel or the star over Bethlehem.”

“My Christmas Tree Topper this year. Better than an angel or the star over Bethlehem. A nation of millions stand with you,” Moore tweeted.

Moore’s worship of Ginsburg simply heralds the chaos that would erupt in the streets if President Trump were to replace her during his tenure. While some Twitter users found Moore’s gesture endearing, others rightly noted the sheer creepiness of it.

“You shoved an 8 Ft tree up her a** and you think this is showing her solidarity,” one user said.

Last Friday, a little over a month after fracturing three ribs in a nasty fall, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg underwent surgery for lung cancer. According to CNN, she had “two cancerous nodules removed from her left lung.” A statement released by the Supreme Court announced that Justice Ginsburg underwent a “pulmonary lobectomy” in New York City that resulted in the removal of two malignant nodules. No other complications with Ginsburg have been detected.

“Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg underwent a pulmonary lobectomy today at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City,” read the statement. “Two nodules in the lower lobe of her left lung were discovered incidentally during tests performed at George Washington University Hospital to diagnose and treat rib fractures sustained in a fall on November 7. Both nodules removed during surgery were found to be malignant on initial pathology evaluation. Post-surgery, there was no evidence of any remaining disease.”

The Hollywood Reporter says that Justice Ginsburg is now up and working as she recuperates from the surgery.

At 85, Ginsburg has made no plans to retire from her Supreme Court seat, which, if filled by a conservative, would dramatically alter the court’s makeup for decades to come. In the early Obama years, progressive activists were hoping she would announce her retirement so the former president could replace her with an equally progressive judge. After the 2014 midterm, when Republicans took back the Senate, her retirement became all the less likely. Now that President Trump sits in the oval office and Republicans control the Senate, Ginsburg will likely stay on at least through 2020.

“I said I will do this job as long as I can do it full steam,” Ginsburg said Sunday during an interview following a New York City screening of “On the Basis of Sex.”
