Melania Trump Responds To Librarian Who Rejected Her Donation Of ‘Racist’ Children’s Books

Amanda Prestigiacomo

On Friday, First Lady Melania Trump responded to the Massachusetts elementary school librarian, Liz Phipps Soeiro, who rejected donated books — including Dr. Seuss books she deemed “racist propaganda” — from the First Lady’s office to the students in honor of National Reading Day.

Soeiro was appalled by the donation from the first lady and took it upon herself to reject the charitable offering, along with a nasty letter reprimanding Mrs. Trump. According to Soeiro, superior Cambridge students don’t “NEED” the donated books dripping in “racist propaganda”; they should go to an “underfunded and underprivileged” community.
