The frontman for “Panic! at the Disco” Brandon Urie came out as “pansexual” in an interview published with Paper Magazine on Friday.

“I’m married to a woman and I’m very much in love with her but I’m not opposed to a man because to me, I like a person,” said Urie. “Yeah I guess you could qualify me as pansexual because I really don’t care. If a person is great, then a person is great. I just like good people, if your heart’s in the right place. I’m definitely attracted to men. It’s just people that I am attracted to.”

“I guess this is me coming out as pansexual,” he added.

A “pansexual” is someone who is “not limited in sexual choice with regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity.”

Urie added that it was “never weird” for him to “come to terms” with his sexuality.

“I know that it made a few people uncomfortable, when somebody gets uncomfortable about me doing what I used to call ‘stage gay.’ It kind of presses me to want to do it more,” he said.

Urie has been married to Sarah Orzechowski since 2013 and has previously revealed that he’s “experimented” with men.

The 31-year-old also gave his thoughts on the music industry with regard to the #MeToo movement.

“The thing that sucks that I think, is that a lot of guys don’t speak up,” he told Paper. “They don’t want to snitch and I’m like, ‘Motherf***er, snitch!’ Those guys aren’t your friends, they’re not good people. They are doing terrible things, tell people about it. Don’t protect your friend.”

Asked if he ever thought, “Oh am I taking advantage of my power?” during his rise to fame, Urie replied, “Oh absolutely.”

“I even think back to times in high school where I think of a memory and it will be so embarrassing. Like I don’t know if I overstepped a boundary. I was so young and dumb and unequipped to deal with certain things. I just hope that it never came across as creepy or just totally inappropriate because that’s never where I was coming from,” he explained.
