On Tuesday, conservative radio host Mark Levin slammed Politico’s hypocrisy on Sean Hannity’s failure to disclose his ties with President Trump’s lawyer after one of their foreign affairs correspondents spoke at J Street, an anti-Israel organization that she covers.
In a Monday article, Politico criticized the Fox News host’s connection to Michael Cohen and said, “He should have made his entanglements more clear to viewers.”
However, The Washington Free Beacon noted that one of Politico’s reporters attended an event hosted by an organization known for its anti-Israel stance:
Politico foreign affairs correspondent Nahal Toosi spoke on Sunday at a conference put on by J Street, a far-left anti-Israel group currently waging an aggressive campaign against the confirmation of the Trump administration’s secretary of state nominee Mike Pompeo.
Toosi participated in a panel discussion titled “The Erosion of Diplomacy Under the Trump Administration” along with several left-leaning critics of the White House Administration.
Levin read the Free Beacon piece on his nationally-syndicated radio program and ripped into the news outlet for their blatant hypocrisy.
“Now this Politico reporter Toosi’s coverage of the Pompeo nomination has been hostile,” said Levin. “With one report characterizing Pompeo as an often evasive nominee who contradicted himself on issues ranging from the Iran nuclear deal to the regime change in North Korea.”
He emphasized, “She’s not a correspondent. She’s a propagandist!”
Levin continued, “Here’s another clown reporter from Politico at a partisan, anti-Israel event, and she is a foreign affairs correspondent for Politico.”
He added, “Has Politico ever revealed who she is? Has Politico ever revealed her association with this organization? Of course not, and this goes on all the time.”
